Lucian And Zuda: Family 1
Their Fae | B X B X B
The following story takes place a few months after their backstory! Enjoy!
Lucian
I sat idly in the relaxing hot water as Zuda rummaged through his drawer. He was panicking a lot, though I didn't know why. "Hey babe? Have you seen my tie?" He called. I picked up a mound of bubbles and blew them away. "Nope." I answered then picked up the nice smelling pink bar and did what Zuda taught me to do when he wasn't here to do it for me. Legs, Arms then crotch. My face became hot again.
"Mom's gonna be here any minute!" He exclaimed, rushing over to me and helped me out of the bath. I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around my apparent 'private' area according to Zuda. He looked down at the wet patch that had formed when he helped me up. "Shit!" I looked up at him a muttered an apology. His nice navy button shirt was half open, exposing his smooth abs. The tie he was along about before was on his shoulders hanging limp. I plucked it and held it up to his face. "Found it!" I chimed happily. His stressed out expression softened and a small smile formed on his face. "Thanks, Luce,". The same warm feeling pooled inside my chest whenever he smiled or laughed. It became even more intense when I was the reason he laughed or smiled, and that was most of the time.
"You should probably get changed befo-" there was a knock as the door. His face became all panicked again and he rushed to the door, telling me to find some clothes. I heard the door open and new voices greeted my ears.
"We have to tell him now! It doesn't feel right over letters."
"Minerva, we came to see our son who we haven't heard from since he moved. I don't want to ruin this moment with bad news."
I've met one other person other than Zuda in these past few months so new people were always exciting!
I hurried to the door, forgetting all about clothes and tucked my towel under my arms. I was greeted by a frighteningly tall man who looked almost identical to Zuda and a smaller woman, probably the same height as me with bright green eyes.
Zuda didn't even get a word in before she spotted me, her eyes widening. She smacked her son in the shoulder and rushed over, dropping her bags and cupping my cheeks. I didn't have time to react as she started scolding her son for not telling her about me. Her voice was light and sweet and her scent was full of nice smelling flowers. "Yeah, we sent that letter a bit late. The mail system up here ain't that great," he brushed off, scratching the back of his head. "Oh my days! He looks like a bag of bones! Have you been starving him?!" She cried, lifting my arm, so I quickly had to hold the towel up. Zuda had to sit me down for a serious conversation on how I'm not allowed to walk around naked anymore. Just not when his parents are staying over here.
"He eats more than I do!" He protested. His father smirked. "He must be eating you out of house and home, then." He joked. His voice was deeper than Zuda it was almost hard to tell what he was saying. "Hi Pa," they shared a hug before be turned to me. His skin was a deeper blue like a deep lake. His hair was brown, unlike Zuda who must of inherited his hair from his mother. "I'm Minerva, but you can call me Minnie." I smiled. I liked her name. "I'm Lucian!" I yipped.
"This isn't exactly how I want you to meet him.." Zuda said, finally doing his shirt up. "Well, mom, pa. This is my boyfriend, Lucian." He sighed, giving me a flash of a smile which turned to a nervous one once he locked eyes with his father. The towering man had an unreadable expression, taking in a long breath of air. "I would've guessed, finding him wet and basically naked right behind you," he had a bright grin and Zuda relaxed. He had to duck to get in, his broad shoulders just barely making it past the door. He stuck out his hand and I took it. Zuda taught me what to do when this happened!
"I'm Rel. Orc name." He greeted. I smiled. His name was nice too. His eyes were a green, only a lot sharper and darker. Minnie looked at Rel, then looked away. She moved around him and went to hug her son. What a weird exchange. Maybe that's what other people did!
Zuda told them we had to set up the picnic table so we grabbed the already prepped food basket from the kitchen. With two Orcs in the already small house I felt like I was being squished. Rel and Zuda constantly bumped into eachother. I went to get changed, finding shorts that would fit me and a big plaid shirt Zuda didn't mind me wearing. We managed to make it outside without taking down the entire house and we started for the table Zu had constructed a few weeks prior to this. My man was a great wood-worker. His wood was great!
Zuda and Rel walked further up while me and Minerva stayed back. She stared at my shoulder and I took the time to look at her pretty features. Zuda definetely inherited more features from his father I could see the subtle things that were more evident in her son. Like the bright smile, small dimples and that sparkle in their eyes. Her cheeks glowed pink, her lashes were long and beautiful and the creases in the corner of her eyes were a sign of age, but gave her that loving look.
"What happened here, sweetie?" She asked, pointing to my scar. I looked away from her and towards the grass below us. Should I tell her? Would she get mad at her son? "Accident. Zuda helped me." I answered. She nodded and looked proudly at her son. "I hope he treats you well and that he loves you every single waking hour.." she sighed but she wasn't looking at her son. Her eyes were pinned to Rel and I felt a sense of sadness.
"He loves me, I love him." I assured her, running up to the man in question and hugging him from behind. He grunted, almost tripping over. "Luce, I told you not to do that.." he grumbled. I frowned, clinging onto him. One thing lead to another and I was suddenly being thrown into the air, landing safely on his shoulders. Rel chuckled, staring up at me. His tusks were larger and protruded further.
"You seem like a perfect fit for my son. Just the right attitude to keep him motivated." He took a quick look at Minnie who was trailing behind. I tilted my head. Motivated? What did he mean by that? "Pa, I literally renovated an entire cabin from scratch! There were only two partially intact walls when I found it!" He argued whilst placing the picnic basket on the bench. He gingerly grabbed my hips and placed me lightly on the floor. "I bet it wasn't as homey before you met him." He said to his son who scoffed.
I could smell the delicious food wafting from the basket, making my mouth water. I may be small but my stomach knows no bounds. We began setting up the table. I wasn't allowed to touch the food yet because Zuda was scared I'd eat it early. Once it was all done I sat next to Zuda- naturally. When Minnie sat down next to me Zuda caught on instantly. "Mom, What are you doing?" He asked. I had to scoot over. Clearly he didn't intend to have more than two people on the benches. Rel had his head in his palms and was sighing.
"What? Can't a mother sit next to her son and his new boyfriend?" She huffed. "Minerva, just sit over here." Rel ordered. Minnie looked at her husband and had the most offended face. "I certainly will not!"
I looked over at Zuda who had the most incredulous expression, as if he was witnessing a crazy event. "Minerva, you're making a scene!" He growled. I started feeling uncomfortable with the amount of anger rolling of both of them. It was so sudden and strong I was already willing to hide behind Zuda. "Stop telling me I'm making a scene everytime I dare to raise my voice!"
"You just too ashamed to tell our son the truth!" Rel shot up so fast all I saw was a large blue blur. He slammed his fist on the table and an audible splintering crack sounded. "I am not ashamed!" He roared. I whimpered, gripping onto Zuda's arm and doing my best to edge closer. My wolf wanted us to bare our neck due to the amount of anger rolling off him.
"Will you two calm down?! You're scaring him!" Zuda yelled which earned some silence. I instantly felt both pairs of eyes on me. "Explain right the hell now what's going in between you guys! You think I wouldn't notice how my parents were avoiding eachother?" He questioned though he clearly wasn't looking for an answer. His voice wavered ever so slightly towards the end.
I unfurled myself from his side and looked over at Minnie. She clearly wanted to say something but the way Rel was looking at his wife he clearly did not want her to say one word. "We have been hiding something from you-" Minerva started but was cut off by her husband. "Minerva. Do not make this situation any worse!" He shouted but the way his voice dipped it sounded more like a plead. "He deserves to know, Rel!"
Then began more bickering. Birds flee away to probably scout for quieter places and the nearby wildlife scattered into borrows or hollow tree trunks. "Just tell me!" Zuda interrupted. I could feel him trembling just the slightest.
"Minnie- don't-"
"Zuda, your Father and I are getting a divorce."
Hey guys! Believe it or not but I'm actually really struggling with the main story so I decided to write more about Zuda and Lucian (2 parts because why not?). Having trouble with the main story coupled with the fact that I'm super busy because of my new job (surprise!) I can't update frequently.
Ferris' story is still on hiatus, unfortunately. Maybe I once I sort things out I can start my creative process!
Much love to you all!
