Part Thirty Two

Their Fae | B X B X B

Ferris

Geno came by like Ryker said and did my hair again. He gave me a lacey blouse thing that had small cherry blossom embroided on each of my shoulders which I thought looked nice. They told me that they were taking me some place secluded so I didn't have to worry about what I wore but I didn't want to treat it like it was something casual. After I moisturised my legs I exited the bathroom and could barely contain my excitement. Fraener was wearing leg-hugging black jeans and a crisp white collar shirt with his sleeves rolled up. Zaelyn wore a black dress shirt and jeans, with combat boots that just encased his lower calf.

"You look stunning, sweetheart," Fraener sighed as I walked out, giving them a twirl so they could see my outfit. I blushed at his compliment and pecked him on the cheek in thanks. "Is that his nickname now?" Zaelyn asked with a coy look. Fraener shrugged then twirled a lock of my hair around his finger. "Only if you like it. Do you?" He asked. I stared down at my bare feet and reluctantly nodded. I loved the nickname he gave me. "Why haven't you given me a nickname?" He asked in an accusatory tone making me snort. "You do have a nickname." Frae insisted. It took awhile for him to understand but when he did he blushed with a scowl. "What is it?"

Fraener gave me a look but still didn't tell me. My mind went all sorts of places but I kept going back to sex. After a minute of silence and weird knowing looks I gave up and cleared my throat. "Should we head out now?" I asked, standing on my tip-toes all giddy. Fraener nodded and we started heading for the door when Zae stopped us. "Wait! I forgot to give you something!" He shouted. He rushed into the closet alerting me a little but he came back with a small white box which he opened and plucked out a necklace. Frae urged me forward with a smile allowing me to look at the necklace closer.

A simple silver chain that looked almost like thread had a small glass heart, holding a small fern leaf inside, almost like it was frozen mid fall. It was beautiful. "This is for you." The Incubus stated, unhooking it and placing it around my neck. I looked up at him in surprise. "It's beautiful, Zaelyn! Thank you!" I cheered, wrapping my arms around his neck and indulging us in a deep kiss. He chuckled as we parted, failing to deny me that devilish smirk. "I'm glad you like it,"

We let eachother go and were ready to head off when one a knock sounded at the door. Fraener gave a groan before telling the mystery person to come in. Fraener shifted a little, putting some space between us making me frown. A guard popped his head in and seemed a little confused to see us all standing there a little awkwardly. "King Heliux has requested your immediate presence," he stammered. We looked at eachother in confusion. Which one of us? "Prince Zaelyn and Prince Fraener." He clarified. I wanted to groan out loud but I refrained and instead huffed. "Tell my father we'll be right there." Zaelyn gritted out sending the guard running.

After Fraener made sure the door was closed he kissed the top of my head followed by Zaelyn pecking me on the cheek. "I'm sure whatever it is it'll be quick," Zaelyn assured me. I stared up at him with unsure eyes. "And if it isn't?" I inquired. He sighed, then patted my head. "We'll be back soon," Fraener called out before they dissapreaed out the door leaving me alone again. I sat back down on the bed and clutched the sheets tightly. I didn't enjoy staying by myself, especially now that the sun was setting. All I could hear was the consistent beating of my heart and the sound of that summer breeze. The glass doors to the balcony were safely locked, so the only possible way in are the two doors that led out into the hallway, the same doors I was staring down. I flinched when another knock echoed through the silent room.

I quickly made my way over to the door, popping my head out the crack and sighing in relief when I noticed a small blonde maid. She handed me a familiar phone with a small smile. "Forgive me, my prince, but have been sent to give you this," she spoke as I inspected my phone. "We were able to recover this, but as for your clothes and luggage they are still yet to be found." I thanked her for the information and quickly closed the door. How could they have found my phone but not the rest of my clothes? I specifically placed it in my suitcase just to make sure I didn't lose it, which I inadvertently did.

I began to look through my phone, inspecting it closely. Nothing was out of the ordinary, not even a scratch. There were only a few notifications  on my messages. I decided to check it out, my eyes tracing each word.

'I decided to give your phone back.'

'I hope you have an explosive night.'

I almost choked. It couldn't have been the same person sending those letters, right? How would they get my number? I scrolled down a bit to reveal another picture of Zaelyn's castle from afar. My stomach churned as I felt the acidic mess burning at my throat. I stumbled my way to the toilet and threw up, letting a few tears slipping out along with last night's dinner. I heard the door open and my breath caught in my throat my. My entire body froze up in the awkward position of post-hurling into the toilet bowl. "Sweetheart?" Fraener's voice called out. I calmed down at the sound of his voice, lifting myself off the floor and watching as Zaelyn's handsome smirk fell and was replaced by worry. They both rushed over and fussed over if I was okay to which I made up the excuse that I ate something bad. I quickly switched off my phone whilst snatching it off the floor.

"I'm just going to brush my teeth, then we can go," I told them, earning a nod from Zaelyn and an unsure look from Fraener. My first thought were the photos I hid in the closet. Maybe I should just show them? Fraener stared hard at me for a minute as if he was trying to force the truth from me, like he knew I was lying. I ignored him with a smile and went to clean my mouth of the bad smell and taste. "Are you ready?" Zaelyn asked with a big smile. "Of course!" I replied. This night was exactly the distraction I needed. I wasn't going to let the messages or photos stop me from enjoying a night out with my men. This whole situation was getting worse, so maybe the best option was to tell them? I wanted just one more night between the three of us before I was locked up in my room forever.

Fraener joined my side as we made it down the hallway but still didn't say anything. I could tell he was thinking about something but didn't inquire it, instead choosing to play with the small glass heart on my necklace. "Where did you get it?" I asked my Incubus who wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer. "Why? You wanna return it?" He joked. I did my best to hit his shoulder but by the laugh he let out it didn't do much. "Of course not!" I scolded with a frown. "I'm just fucking around. I got it at a cute shop during the five weeks we were apart."

I smiled at the thought then knitted my brows together. "I didn't get you guys anything!" I exclaimed with a groan. He chortled. "Your kisses are enough," he mused. I rolled my eyes, failing to cover up my amused smile. I also failed to realized we reached the courtyard where the palace garden was set out infront of us. We stopped at the leafy arch-way feeling the warm summer breeze wafted between us. I was a little paranoid, but with these two beside me I was as safe as can be. I gazed up at Fraener who was staring hard ahead, then back at the entrance to the castle entrance, where a large group of guards passed by. "You guys go ahead, I have something to do first." He excused before leaving without letting either of us object.

I huffed in annoyance. Zaelyn didn't seem too impressed either but still lead me down the path. Small candles littered the ground, lighting up our way and drawing my eyes to the noticeable glow coming from behind a thicket of bushes. "This seems like a fire hazard," I joked, trying to cover up the blush that was overtaking my face. They went through all this trouble, for me? "You're ruining the feel. It's meant to be romantic." Zaelyn snipped with a playful tone. I smiled as the smell of wonderfully cooked food met my senses and my mouth began to water. I've been gaining a habit of sleeping throughout most of the day and thanks to that I skip almost every meal.

When we got to our destination I gawked at the scene. A scarlet red cloth was draped over a round table with a fancy silver candelabra holding even more scented candles with flickering flames set in the middle and three plates perfectly set for us three, with delicious looking spaghetti dished on all three. Small purple flowers were tucked everywhere, adding even more colours to the scenery. A large oak behind had a few wind chimes dangling off filling the air with their satisfying sounds.

Zaelyn's hand left my waist and met my hand, gripping it tightly. We didn't walk that far into the garden but the surrounding bushes and trees concealed us from sight. "The others helped with it and Fraener did all the cooking while I added the flowers cuz' I'm gay like that." He sighed, making me snort at his remark. "Do you like it?" He bit out. I looked up and kissed his jaw-line, watching as his adam's apple bobbed. "It looks beautiful!" I gasped. I was feeling so many emotions I was frightened my wings might pop out. He seemed nervous, but that vanished when I showed him my glee. He urged me to take a seat to which I did without any more motivation.

I drummed my fingers on the table and soaked in the comfortable silence that surrounded us. Those ruby eyes of his were almost enough to make me forget about the text messages. Almost. I could tell he was thinking about something while he twirled his fork in his plate. "What do your wings look like?" He asked out of the blue, making my face burn up. My wings were embarrassing to talk about! I ignored his question and distracted myself with the candles. "These smell nice. What's the scent?" I asked suddenly. He chuckled then scooted closer. He's not going to let this go. "Don't be like that, Ferris. I'm probably going to see a lot worse than your wings." He commented making me squirm with embrassament. "I-It's tradition. No one other then my family and a select few are a allowed to see."

He rolled his eyes. "You've already broke about a thousand traditions just by being with me," he remarked. He was right, but my wings were too sensitive. "Geno's top will get ruined if I show you.." I mumbled. His eyes glinted with an unknown look as I swallowed thickly. "You could take off your shirt.." he suggested with a smirk. I was considering it when a figure appeared from the bush, scaring me a bit. It was Fraener, but I still didn't calm down, not with the face he had. Anger seemed to bubble off him in dangerous waves and the object he was holding made my blood turn to ice. He threw it onto the table so hard he sent the candelabra flying, which Zaelyn had to snuff about before they caused a fire. "What the fuck, Fraener!"

He didn't acknowledge him, only staring daggers at me. "Care to explain to me what the fuck is in this box!?" He barked making me flinch. Oh my god he found them. A few tears slipped down my cheek as I failed to find the words. What the hell was I supposed to say?! "I was...- I was going to tell you-"

"Tell me what? When we're you going to tell us that a psycho was following you?! Following us!" He shouted again. "That's enough! You need to calm down!" Zaelyn intervened. I didn't move from my position in the slightest. I couldn't register everything properly. "Calm down?! Look at what he's been hiding from us!" He shoved him the box, the polaroid pictures flying everywhere. Zaelyn picked a few up and stared at them with a confused look that slowly transformed into shock.

"Hope you had a good time?" He read aloud with an almost disgusted tone. "I-I was going to tell you guys soon I swear!" I managed to get out. This wasn't supposed to be happening! This was supposed to be a fun date! "Soon isn't good enough! I'm taking these to Heliux." He declared before snatching a few and in particular the one in Zaelyn's hands. My heart dropped and everything suddenly sounded like shattering glass. He trudged  away and we both took off after him. "Fraener, please!" I called out as more tears invaded my vision. Everything was a massive blur and I could barely stand up straight. He was insanely fast and in a matter of seconds we were inside the castle. I pleaded with him to stop and listen to me but he didn't. Neither of us stopped until we were in the throne room and Heliux was nowhere to be seen.

"Fraener please don't do this! I won't ever be able to see you again!" I pleaded, my heart breaking even more with each word. I didn't even care my face was a wet mess or that my throat was sore from calling out so much. He didn't even look like he was second-guessing. His silence allowed another sound to reach my ears. It was almost like tapping. From somewhere behind Fraener. It was quite like tapping, more like ticking. Fraener moved from infront of the thrown and Zaelyn replaced him, trying to get our attention. "Everyone just needs to calm the fuck down!" He tried to reason. I froze up again, not saying another word. It felt like there was something stuck in my throat.

Tick, tick, tick.

"If you tell me to calm down one more fucking time." Fraener warned, stepping closer to Zaelyn. I was scared. I was frightened. "I mean it, Frae. You're scaring Ferris." The Incubus gritted out. He scoffed, clutching the photos harder.

Tick, tick, tick.

That noise was drumming in my head. I wasn't able to move my body. I sobbed hard, my only indication to tell him to move. I knew what it was, and by the time they both noticed the sound we were blown back from a powerful explosion.

Well then...

I hoped you guys enjoyed this rather long and emotional chapter. I was torn between whether or not to turn this into two seperate chapters but some of you guys were commenting on how the chapters felt shorter so I guess I decided to kill two birds with one stone. I am in no way saying all chapters from here on out will be this long but I will keep in mind of the word count next time.
