13 (shadi functions p.3)

Naira's pov

I woke up early today as I am very nervous as today is the last day I'm going to be known as  naira singhani

But from tonight I'll be known as THE QUEEN OF RAJASTHAN

NAIRA VEER SINGH RAJVANSH.

I'm feeling very nervous  but right now we don't have time for this we have to get ready for our halfi function and since yesterday me and veer haven't talked although we are chatting but the rest is not allowed due to the ritual

To be honest the way he describe himself or the world describes him he is not even close to that, like people say that he is a devil

I mean my veer as devil??? He is the cutest person I have met

And is the sweetest with me

Now I will think about rana sa later I should get ready now

I stood up and went inside the washroom and got ready

I got ready when nisha and bhabhi came to my room

"Heyy babessss are you readyy???" Asked nisha

"Yesss mam I'm all readyyy" I said

"Wow naira you're looking really good bachaa" Bhabhi said

"Hehe thankyou bhabhi you aren't looking less yourself , and nishuu Tu bhi hot lagri haii" I said

"Huh yea I always look hot but always it's less then you" She said

To which we all laughed and then mumma came in and asked us to come down stairs for the ceremony

I saw bhai sa there and hugged him "wow naira you're looking very good bachee" He said

"Hehe thankyou bhai ap bhi kam nhi lg re bhabhi flat hogayi hongi apko dekhke" I said and he glared at me but I cared less and everyone laughed and bhai sa also gave in  at the end

But I could see the sadness behind his laugh everyone was really sad and I was trying not to think about this as I knew if I will think then I'm going to cry badly

As I love my family  alot they have been my backbone since my childhood

So i sat where haldi was going to be applied on me

First dad came and he had tears him his eyes ughh i hate seeing this, I actioned him to smile and he did the same and applied haldi on my face

Then mom came and she was also crying she applied haldi on me and hugged me tightly

Then bhai sa came and took a hand full of haldi I warned him but he rubbed it all on my face

And bhabhi sa

also did the same

Then all my other cousins and relatives came and did the same

After the function ended they made me wear my chuda and then I went towards my room to freshen up

Veer's pov

I woke up a little late today as I knew the haldi function is not going to be that much lit but yea still I got dressed

And went outside to see shivam waiting for me

He took me there and all my siblings came towards me with baba sa kaka sa and dada sa

As always leaving Jay everyone had there cold face

Then I sat on the place where my haldi was applied

First dada sa came and applied a little on my face

Followed by baba sa and kaka sa

Then Jay came smirking at me and was about to take a hand full but I glared at him and he stopped my abhiveer and abheer came towards me abhiveer gave me a smile and applied a little but as always without any reaction abheer applied haldi and left and stood in the corner

Then shivam came

And took a handfull I tried the same trick I did with Jay but I knew  my glaring doesn't bother him and he did bathed me in haldi

But seeing this Jay whinned

"Yrr bhai sa apne shivam bhai sa ko itni haldi lagane di pr mujhe kyu nhi mein bhi lagaunga" He said and before I could say something he also came and applied it

Then  I left for my room

Author's pov

Shivam after applying haldi to veer took some haldi and left from there quietly which none noticed

He walked through the place where naira's haldi was happening and held nisha's hand and pulled her from there quietly

And pinned her on a piller

That's when she gasped and said

"What are you doing shiv?"

"Nothing bss apko haldi laga rha hu" He said

And applied a little on his cheek and then rubbed his cheek with her's

To which she blushed but then they heard someone walking by so shivam left from there not before kissing her forehead....
