7. Tell me the truth
My little mate, aria
Christian
I woke up with a foot in my face. Aria had managed to shift herself so her head was facing the foot of my bed, one of her feet over my shoulder and the other in my face. A deep growl came from my chest making aria jump and shoot up kicking me in the face. "Fuck," I groaned and my hands came up to my nose. "Shit. Sorry Christian," aria moved and touched my hands. The sparks went up my arms bringing me comfort. "It's alright. How the fuck did you manage to get in that position anyway?" I chuckled. "To be honest, I have no clue," aria shrugged and laughed. "Come on little wolf. Let's go get some breakfast," I pushed aria so she fell on the bed. "Actually, I might stay here. Your bed is very comfortable," she smiled. I shook my head and looked down. I grabbed her wrists and pulled her over my shoulder. "Put me down Christian," aria shouted. "Are you going to come get breakfast?" I asked. "Nope. I want more sleep," aria flopped so she was dangling over my shoulder. An idea popped in my head, I looked back at her and smirked. "No, no, no, no," aria went to get up, but before she could I started jumping up and down. "Wakey Wakey, little wolf," I shouted. "I give up," aria groaned. I laughed and walked out of my bedroom and into the kitchen. Like always, Josh, James, jack and Patrick was sitting on the island. "Why was there banging upstairs?" Josh smirked. "Because dipshit here put me over his shoulder and started jumping like a lunatic," aria mumbled as I kept her over my shoulder. "Aria, that is the alpha. You can't call him a dipshit," Patrick scolded her. "Alpha my ass. Shouldn't have woken me from my precious slumber," aria huffed out. "Show some respect young lady," Patrick sounded angry. "Uncle Patrick, you know I love you and all but alpha is a real pain in my ass," aria kept on talking while she looked at my back. Me, Josh, James and jack all burst out laughing. Patrick soon followed as we all laughed at arias words. "Damn little wolf, gotta hurt me like that?" I chuckled. "I'm not trying to be mean Christian. I'm only being honest, you know, because you always tell me to say the truth," aria responded. "Where did this girl come from?" Josh laughed. "I place you'll never get to be," aria retorted. "Where might that be?" Josh calmed down a little. "Between a woman's legs," aria giggled. Everyone burst out laughing again, I had to put aria down as I held on to my stomach. Josh sat there with wide eyes and an open mouth looking at aria. "Why can't you be my niece?" James bent over clutching his knees trying to breath. Patrick's face was bright red as his eyes glossed over as he tried to stop laughing. Me on the other hand, struggled, I had to take deep breaths but just carried on laughing with her words ringing in my head. Eventually, me James, jack and Patrick sobered up, aria sat down as I went to make breakfast. "I have been between a woman's legs," Josh mumbled. "Whatever helps you sleep at night princess," aria tapped his shoulder. "You sure your not the pain in the ass," Josh looked down at her. "Oh, I know I am. Except the difference between me and Christian is that, I'm lovable and he is a big bad wolf," aria smiled amused. "Can't argue with that little wolf," I let out a playful growl.
"You can't make me," aria shouted as she cling on to her bed frame. "Let go aria," I groaned. I was pulling on arias ankles as she held a tight grip on her metal bed frame. "She's evil and picks on me. I'd rather stick a pin in my eye than have training with that witch," aria yelled at me. "Shit aria, your not going to training today," I kept on pulling at her ankles, trying to pull her off the bed. "I'm not?" She looked back at me. "No," I breathed out. "Oh, ok," aria smiled then let go. We both fell on the floor as I pulled when she let go. "Your stronger than you look," I panted. "I know," aria shrugged and got up. "So where we going?" Aria helped me up. "Who said I was taking you out?" I furrowed my eyebrows. "Because every time I don't go to training you always do. So, where we going?" Aria replied. "To a water fall," I rolled my eyes. "Funny," she laughed sarcastically. "Come on, I'll show you," I chuckled.
We both walked through the woods on my territory. Once I heard water, I knew I was close. Aria and I came to a clearing and the waterfall came into view. "You weren't kidding when you said waterfall," aria looked around. "No I wasn't," I chucked slightly. "So why are we here?" She started climbing a tree then sat on a branch. "We need to talk," I sighed. "Am I being kicked out of the gang? Are and then others going to kill me because I haven't been a good pack member? I'll get better I promise. I'll even become like nuns and do that silent thingy," aria rambled. "Aria," I called out and smiled at her softly. "What?" She breathed out. "Your not going anywhere. And why would me and the boys kill you. Also, don't become a nun and that silence thing, I'm sure the pack would become a nightmare without your attitude," I laughed. "Ok. So what are we going to talk about?" Aria sighed in relief. "I'm not going to do much. I'm going to sit here and listen while you tell me about them dreams you've been having," I pulled myself up and sat next to her in the tree. "What's there to say? I get surprised on my fifth birthday by my pack and rogues attack, I see my mum and dad get killed, end of dream," aria looked anywhere but me. "Tell the truth aria," I sighed. "It's my fifth birthday," her voice just above a whisper. "I look around me, there's food, presents and cake. My old alpha and Luna wish me happy birthday as I was like their niece, they were really close with my mum and dad. After I went off and played with other pups, these huge wolves come out and start attacking. I saw my mum and dad shift, and then I see my mum get killed, her lifeless eyes staring at me. Then my dad tells me to run. His words in my head all the time, 'i love you. Me and your mummy. Don't forget that,' he kissed my head and I ran. When I looked back my dads grey, black and white wolf was pinned to the ground. Screams all around me from different people, children, woman and others. Then my dad whimpers and I see a rogue take his life," arias voice started to crack at the end. "Tell me the rest," I broke the silence. "The rogue that killed my dad come up to me with an evil grin on his face. All of a sudden, he lunges at me. Then I wake up crying," aria looked away from me so I knew she started to cry. I put my arm around her shoulders and pull her so she could cry into my chest. Aria clutched my T-shirt as she sobbed, leaving wet patches which I could feel. My heart broke at the sight of my mate breaking like this. I had to resist the whimpers my wolf wanted to let out. All I could do was comfort my little mate, she was all I cared about, not my pack, not my own family. The only one on my mind was aria, the one that is most important to me.
