Chapter 23
Love from shizun
Hi lovelies, This chapter is Ofcourse about Shen jiu's past. I will try to add my own scenes in this. Hope you enjoy!
"What! Heh! You are still trying to hide your wrong doings. Then let me tell you it won't wo-" Qiu Haitang didn't get to complete her sentence before Shen jiu said.
"Since you talked about my past and revealed my wrongdoings. I will also reveal someone else's. Your elder brother. Qiu Jianluo."
Qiu Haitang was confused and frowned deeply. "What kind of lies would you want to say about my elder brother now!". Even though she said that. Her breath hitched imagining what Shen jiu was about to say. Was there something she didn't know. Since young age, Qiu haitang has always been a naive girl. She knew nothing about the household matters that her brother managed. Neither did she ask about it. All she did was play with her servants or Shen jiu.
Luo bingge noticed that there was an unusual rage and sadness emitting from Shen jiu.
"Lies?" Shen jiu sneered. "Then listen well Luo binghe." He turned to Luo bingge and repeated the words Qiu haitang had spoken before. "If there is any phrase of lie in my words. Then I will take whatever punishment you give me"
Luo bingge frowned. He opened his mouth, then closed it .He decided to wait until Shen jiu finished his side of the story. Whatever is happening today. His luck is bad enough to be the judge to the plaintiff, Qiu haitang and the defendant, Shen qingqiu. Which has now turned into Shen qingqiu being the plaintiff and Qiu haitang being the defendant.
"Your so called "good ol brother" Qiu Jianluo. Did you know what he was doing behind you and your parents back".
Qiu haitang didn't know what to say looking at the Shen jiu that slowly started speaking with grief and rage in his words.
"Qiu Jianluo that bastard....He never considered me as his foster brother. He only saw me as a puppet laying in his hand. That Qiu Jianluo treated me as trash .He would bully me with his "peers" or just him occasionally. But I was too afraid to say anything."
"I was thankful to your parents for taking me in and giving me cloths and food. For giving me a home and saving me. But do you know why your parents took me in. It want because your brother felt pity on me and begged your parents to take me in but it was because I provoked him once and he wanted to teach me a lesson .Later when your parents died, I was really sad .But when I heard it was Qiu Jianluo who was going to be the head of the household. I was really scared. All I wanted to was to escape from there. I no longer wanted to be a puppet in his hands."
"But that vicious snake.....he made me your fiance. I planned to tell you everything and escape with you. I didn't want you to live in such a household. But you were such a naive little girl. You wouldn't believe me no matter what I said. You fought with me saying I was probably angry at your brother or I had a fight with him. In the end ,I had no choice. He put on his gentleman act on public while he bullied me in private. He kept on pulling the strings of the puppet."
"When I found that I could finally escape from here and go cultivate I was really happy. I went to tell you and your brother about it. But he didn't let me go. I couldn't stand any of his bullying.  I had to defend myself. I want planning on killing him. But even after I held the sword towards him. He still wanted to bully me, didn't believe I would stab him. I had no choice but to stab him. When the other servants came in I was scared so I had to kill all of them. I was afraid. I had to escape. I also wanted to live. So I killed half of the people in the household."
"Qiu haitang. When you fainted. It wasn't your maidens that saved you. When I saw you fainted. I let you and the female servants live. I took you out from the household Before putting the household on fire. At that night ,I left from there because I fucking wanted to live."
Qiu haitang froze in her place. After some time she put her hand over her head and backed off "No.... No... You are lying... You are lying right!?"
Luo bingge saw that Shen jiu was shaking. Tears rolled down his eyes. He wanted to put his hands on his to calm him but before he could .He saw a white binding light. He closed his eyes and fell to the ground.
He opened his eyes and looked around. He saw that it wasn't just him but Shen jiu had also fell to the ground, still unconscious. Before he could wake him up. He felt someone was missing. He looked around and saw Qiu haitang sitting in the ground, crouched up, back facing him, She still held her hands over her head while shaking . He heard her mumbling. He tapped on Qiu haitang's shoulders ."Miss Qiu."
Qiu haitang suddenly turned around. Luo bingge was shocked and fell back at the sudden turn. He saw Qiu haitang's face full of tears. She looked like she had went mad. She kept on mumbling "I am sorry. I am sorry." She looked around to see Shen jiu who had yet not wake up. She clutched onto her hair. She stood up and ran from there.
Luo bingge was still confused at what had just happend. When he suddenly heard a ding sound.
[*beep* *beep* Congrajulations. You have earned 10,000 points for meeting Qiu haitang and finding out Shen qingqiu's past. I was originally planning to show it myself. But since you got to know it by yourself ,you received extra points. 500 points for having scenes with Shen qingqiu. Would you like to ask any questions? ^_^ ]
Luo bingge turned gloomy remembering Shen jiu's past. "W-What happend to that Miss Qiu just now. Why did she go berserk?"
[Oh that, I asked mister Dream demon to show her more about Shen qingqiu's past. While I was having an upgrade. (^з^)]
"More of shizun's past? There is more?" Luo bingge questioned.
[Oh well, I showed her the scenes and somethings Shen qingqiu did not say. Would you like me to show you the same?]
"Yes. Yes." Luo bingge wanted to know more .
[Hang on..... Here ya go]
Luo bingge saw another white binding light. And when he opened his eyes.
A thin young man with disheveled hair was kneeling on the ground in front of him, his upper body bound by rope. This young man's face was pale, his chin sharp and his features pretty. But his face carried an irremovable sense of gloominess, and there was purple sections at the corner of his mouth and forehead. It was Shen jiu when he was still young.
They were in a spacious room with a library and a bedroom linked together, separated only by a hardwood moon gate door. It was furnished lavishly, and exquisite calligraphy and paintings hung on the walls. It was impossible for a family that wasnât rich to obtain these so this couldnât be the lair of some human traffickers.
Luo bingge crossed his arms and leaned against a nearby shelf that had many treasure slots on it, waiting quietly.
The wooden door carved with flowers and plants in front of him opened soundlessly.
Shen Jiuâs head remained rigid and he didnât move, but his eyes swept upwards as the newcomerâs figure reflected in his irises.
A young man with luxurious clothing stepped over the threshold. When Luo bingge saw that face of his, which looked 60% like Qiu Haitangâs, he knew that this had to be Qiu Haitangâs older brother.
What Shen jiu said earlier before was correct. No matter what, the days that Shen Jiu spent in the Qiu family wasnât like what Qiu Haitang said, nor had he been âtreated like family.â
The youth strolled leisurely over to Shen Jiu and circled half around him. Shen Jiuâs face was tightly drawn, his lips pressed together. Even though his expression was dark, his shoulders trembled slightly. He was clearly extremely afraid, but he was forcing himself to remain calm.
Suddenly, Young Master Qiu kicked him square in the back. Shen Jiu immediately sprawled onto the ground face-first.
Luo bingge gripped his hand tightly. He knew this was just an illusion and that he couldn't do anything else.
Young Master Qiu chuckled coldly. âWhat, you donât dare to hit back this time?â
Shen Jiu landed with a nose full of blood and dust. He said lowly, âSpare me, Young Master. I didnât know that was you.â
Young Master Qiu said, âYou didnât know? You didnât know, and you still dared to provoke me!â
He slapped Shen Jiu onto the ground with one hand, and Shen Jiuâs head made a muffled noise when it slammed against the floor as two streams of blood flowed down his chin. Young Master Qiu seemed to derive immense pleasure from doing this, and he took great joy in slapping him like playing with a ball.
Luo bingge's breath hitched he tries his best holding back. 'Too bad this Qiu Jianluo was dead. If he wasn't, he had make sure to teach them is guy a lesson. This happened over a dozen times before Shen Jiu finally couldnât bear it any longer and he shouted, âWhat exactly do you want to do?!â
Young Master Qiu laughed maliciously. âYou belong to our family now. Naturally, I can do whatever I want.â
Suddenly, a gentle and beautiful voice belonging to a young woman sounded from outside the door. âBrother? Brother? Are you inside?â
The moment Young Master Qiu heard his little sister calling for him, his expression changed, and he unbound Shen Jiu before he threatened him softly, âWipe your face! If you dare to say anything wrong, Iâll kill you!â
Shen Jiu was both afraid and resentful. A fierce glint flashed through his eyes, but he didnât dare to say anything despite his rage. He viciously wiped his face, rubbing away the dust and the blood from his nose, but the more he wiped, the dirtier it became. When Young Master Qiu saw this, he picked up a flower vase from the window and splashed the water inside onto Shen Jiuâs face. Young Master Qiu changed his expression before opening the door, beaming. âWhy did Tang-er come over?â
Luo bingge finally understood how the âfawning on the surface but spiteful behind peopleâs backsâ character developed in Shen jiu. It was most likely acquired and influenced by Young Master Qiu...
Qiu Haitang wore an embroidered lilac robe and a pair of small white satin boots. The tips were embellished with jewels, and she was truly a delicate young mistress born from a flower bud. It was a different kind of beauty compared to her later allure, which was tempered through hardship. She stepped in through the door and giggled. âI heard that brother bought somebody, and I came over to take a look.â
She saw a teenager shrunk in the corner, his head hanging low. But his face was quite delicate and pretty, and her eyes lit up. She walked over before she said, all smiles, âYouâre Xiao Jiu, then?â
Shen Jiuâs face was already wiped clean, but he still looked quite unhappy, and he didnât answer her. Young Master Qiu stood behind his sister, his eyes threatening. He laughed and said, âHe doesnât really like to speak. His personality is quite strange.â
Qiu Haitang took Shen Jiuâs hand and said, âWhy donât you like to speak? Talk to me a little, please?â
Her voice was soft and coaxing, her tone intimate, her attitude innocent and pure. Nobody could have the heart to embarrass her.
At first, Shen Jiuâs face was stiff, but he still couldnât hold out against a young maidenâs gentle coaxings and beggings. His expression was one of silent enduring, and he turned his head, his ears slightly red.
Luo bingge grew jealous and jealous. He wanted to shove away Qiu haitang and help Shen jiu. But he couldn't do that. Even of he tried he could only feel things air. His hand wound pass right through their body.
When Qiu Haitang saw this, she clapped and said, âGege, heâs so much fun. No wonder you bought him even though you never liked to bring in people from outside. I kind of like him.â
Young Master Qiu smiled fakely. âI also quite like him.â
When Shen Jiu heard the word âlike,â he couldnât help but shudder.
The entire scene suddenly darkened.
The people present all swiftly vanished. Luo bingge startled at first but gradually realised that another scene had begun.
The scene was still set in that room. This time, Shen Jiu wasnât bound, and he was lying on the ground with a swollen face as he picked viciously at the woolen rug on the floor to the point that his fingers were bloodstained.
Abruptly, two light knocks came from the door. A young manâs lowered voice came from outside. âXiao Jiu, Xiao Jiu?â
The moment Shen Jiu heard this voice, he suddenly moved and threw himself against the door. He pressed his face against the lock and said, "Qi ge!" (Seventh bro)
The young man outside said, âQuiet down, I snuck inside.â
At first, Luo bingge couldnât tell who the person outside was. When he thought about it again, he realized that the reason Shen Jiu had the character for ânineâ ,jiu in his name was because he was ranked ninth in the hands of the human traffickers. Naturally, there would be a âone through eightâ as well.
However, Luo bingge was truly a little astonished that Shen Jiu actually had a good friend that would sneak inside to meet him.
Rattling noises came from the door as if the person outside was shaking it. Shen Jiu said, âItâs useless. There are five or six locks on the inside and outside. The window is also locked.â
The youth said worriedly, âThey didnât do anything much to you this time when the escape didnât succeed, did they?â
'So he did try to escape' ,Luo bingge thought.
Shen Jiuâs temper suddenly surged up, and he cursed, âThey didnât do anything much to me? Are you stupid? Theyâve locked me in here for two days already and broke both my legs. What do you think?!â
In reality, Luo bingge could see clearly that though Shen Jiu had suffered a beating and he couldnât walk, both of his legs were still fine. They were hardly broken. But the young man couldnât see the circumstances on the other side of the door, and he seemed to believe Shen Jiu. He said with guilt, âItâs all my fault.â
Shen Jiu said angrily, âOf course itâs all your fault! I blame you. We werenât close with those newcomers, so what if we were stepped on a little? Why did you have to play hero! Are you afraid that people like us with such lowly lives canât bear it?! If you hadnât played hero, why would I have helped you? If I hadnât helped you, how would I have provoked him, and how would that Qiu guy have ended up buying me?! If he hadnât bought me, how would I have become like this?! Every two days I get beat up a little bit and every three days I get beat up a lotâhe plays me like Iâm a dog!â
Luo bingge finally understood. Qiu Jianluo must have felt really provoked so he bought Shen jiu while he asked his parents for permission. His parents must have pitied him and felt nothing amiss. And must have thought his son couldn't stand watching them being punched and treated like a slave. If only they knew their son's actual thoughts.
The young man repeated, âIâm sorry, itâs all my fault.â
Sure enough, with Shen Jiuâs personality, if he had friends, they definitely had to have incredibly good tempers. After several continuous apologies, Shen Jiu finally forcefully dispelled his anger and said, âWhatever! Iâve never valued that damn thing called loyalty. Iâll give all my loyalty for this life to you.â
The young man said gratefully, âI know.â
Shen Jiu said viciously, âWhat the hell do you know.â
The youth said, âI really know. Qi ge will remember your loyalty. I will definitely repay it to you in the future.â
Shen Jiu spat, âWhat future! For people like you who are in the possession of human traffickers for your entire life, in the future, your fate will also be to become a human trafficker. No, youâre a good person, so you canât be a human trafficker. At the most, youâll just continue to beg for food.â
The youth said, âXiao Jiu, I came to talk to you about that. Iâm going to leave. I came today to say goodbye to you.â
Shen Jiu was startled, and he immediately sat up. âLeave? Where are you going?â
The young man called Qi ge said, âI canât stay here anymore. The Qiu family has a lot of influence and wealth in the city. We canât possibly beat them, nor can we escape from them. There are so many cultivating sects in this world. Iâm going to join one and learn how to cultivate so I can come back and rescue you.â
Shen Jiuâs eyes suddenly lit up with a brilliant radiance. âQi ge, I heard thereâs an immortal mountain to the east that recruits disciples who are exceptionally talented each year. Are you going there?â
The youth answered, âI donât know... but Iâll go give them all a try. There has to be one sect that will take me?â
Luo bingge immediately realised Shen jiu was talking about Cang Qiong mountain sect. Then he wondered ,'Could this Qi ge have possibly got took by the Cang Qiong sect. Is this person still alive?'
Shen Jiu murmured, âIf I werenât locked in here, I could also go with you...â He couldnât help but show the envy on his face as he pushed against the door, looking as if he was about to put some sinister plot in his mind.
After a while, Shen Jiu sighed again and said, "Qi ge , from now on, you must not be so impulsive anymore. It ruins things every time. This time, I just got unlucky, but if youâre still like this later when you join the cultivatorsâ sect, what will you do then? Be calmer!"
Luo bingge inexplicably found it a little comical that Shen Jiu was so young, yet he was still lecturing someone older than him. But the young man wasnât the least bit unhappy. Instead, he said, ashamed, "Iâll bear it in mind."
Luo bingge couldn't help but be in awe at how even though Shen jiu seemed like he didn't care. It looked like he cared deep inside.
Because he had hope now, Shen Jiuâs voice grew passionate. âHey, you have to remember what you said before. You must come back and save me!â
Luo bingge knew this didn't work out since Shen jiu had to slaughter half of the Qiu clan to escape from here.
Qi ge seemed to be earnestly nodding his head, and he said heavily, âOkay. Wait a little, until I learn it all. Iâll definitely come back and take you away!â
The two of them stayed silent for a while, separated by a door. Shen Jiu asked, âDid you leave?â
The youth hastily replied, âNot yet. I was waiting for you to speak.â
Shen Jiu said, âQi ge, come closer. Let me take a look at you through the crack in the door. I donât know whether you will... how many years will pass before I can see you again.â
The young man laughed and said, âYou wanted to say you donât know whether Iâll die outside, right? Okay.â
Shen Jiu spat and said, âYou said that yourself! Donât blame me for saying something cruel.â
He shifted closer to the door with difficulty and moved his face close to the crack in the door.
Luo bingge was extremely curious as well, and he also moved closer. He passed through the extremely tiny crack in the door and looked outside.
When Luo bingge looked through the crack. He saw a young figure. The face of the young figure could be called handsome. While it had a gentle smile eloping .
The more Luo bingge, the more he felt this face was quite similar to Yue qingyuan.
The next moment the scene changed.
Young Master Qiu was writing on a table. Shen Jiu stood in attendance to the side, silently grinding his ink.
The Shen Jiu of this time was still a thin and weak youth, but he had stretched in the vertical direction. Among his peers, he would count as rather tall and thin. Standing there to wait upon Young Master Qiu, he gave off a kind of cold and tranquil scholarly aura.
When one sheet of paper was almost complete, Shen Jiu spoke, head lowered and gaze obediently. âYoung Master, thereâs one matter...â
Young Master Qiu didnât even lift his eyes. âThe matter you wish to speak of, is it that charlatan in the city?â
Shen Jiu defended, âElder Wu Yanzi isnât a charlatan.â
Young Master Qiu set down his brush and frowned. âJust behave yourself and stay at home, be a good son-in-law, stay peacefully with my younger sister and live your life, thatâs enough. What use is thinking of those illusory fantasies all the time?â
After a spell of silence, Shen Jiu suddenly gritted out, â...live your life, live your life... I donât want to live this sort of life!â
Young Master Qiu finally lifted his eyes. Shooting him a gaze, he suddenly shot out a foot and kicked him in the back of the knees.
With a plop, Shen Jiu smacked face-first into the ground. Shen Qingqiu subconsciously rubbed his own intact calves. Could it be that these two spent this many years with this mode of interaction...
Young Master Qiu rose from his seat and sneered, âI taught you this many years, and the things youâve learned canât even compare to that charlatanâs evil little tricks.â
Shen Jiu, nose covered in ash and blood from his fall, lifted his head to scoff with a faint air of arrogance. âThey arenât evil little tricks; theyâre immortal techniques. Someone with a trash constitution like you can only call them charlatans to trick and comfort yourself.â
Young Master Qiu crouched down. Grabbing a handful of his hair, he crooned in his ear, âImmortal techniques? Could it be that you, these little cheap goods, want to cultivate to immortality?â
Shen Jiu tilted his head to avoid his grasp, but Young Master Qiu gave him a slow pat on the forehead, the action brimming with intent to insult. He smiled, âYou donât even count as human, and you still want to become an immortal?â
Shen Jiu held his head, not saying a word. Seeing him wilt like this, Young Master Qiu did lessen the strength of his grip a bit, and his next words were serious and heartfelt. âStaying here obediently, being well-behaved and playing your partâwhatâs so bad about that? Youâre fifteen already. Youâre not young; youâre even about to get married. Youâve long missed the optimal time to begin cultivatingâwhat can you become? If you muddle along with him, he isnât even guaranteed to want you.â
This was just looking for death. The thing the original goods cared the most about in life was his cultivation. He couldnât tolerate anyone being better than him, and especially couldnât tolerate others saying half a bad sentence about him. Or else, he wouldnât have been driven into such a deranged state out of resentment for Luo Binghe. And this guy dared to out and say he had no prospects! Only now did Luo bingge understand all of this and only now did it all make sense.
Shen Jiu suddenly turned his arm, grabbing the inkstone on the table and throwing it towards Young Master Qiu. From this angle, it looked like it was flying towards Luo bingge, and he subconsciously dodged to the side.
Of course, the inkstone couldnât hit him, and it couldnât hit Young Master Qiu either. But, the latter was covered in a half arc of black ink spray, a set of exquisitely embroidered robes ruined just like that. Young Master Qiuâs face promptly collapsed, and he berated, âTang-er likes you, thatâs good fortune youâve collected over several of your lifetimes! If not for our family, right now you would be on the street begging and swindling to eke out a living. This life you haveâwithout worry for food or clothes and the chance to read and write, who gave it to you?â
He slapped Shen Jiuâs head down onto the ground. âNot the least bit of gratitude!â
Shen Jiu seemed to have thrown caution to the wind, viciously spitting, âI am human. Why do I have to feel gratitude towards a beast?!â
Young Master Qiu one-handedly flung him to the wall, cursing, âI thought youâd actually made some progress in these few years, but it turns out rotten mud really doesnât stick to the wall!â
A sword hung on the white wall. When Shen Jiu knocked into it, it dropped to the ground. Shen Jiu collapsed into a seated position at the foot of the wall, found the hilt with his hand, and, in a moment of desperation, drew the blade with a shaky two-handed grip and pointed it at the red-eyed Young Master Qiu.
The latter didnât at all believe he would actually make a move, pointing at him and saying, âYouâre quite fired up. Are your bones itching?â
Seeing him approach a few steps closer, Shen Jiuâs soul just about flew off in fright. He yelled, âDonât come over here!â
Young Master Qiu said, âNo future prospects! You...â
After this âYou,â he would never again speak a word.
Slowly lowering his head, he saw that sword sticking straight into his stomach.
While Young Master Qiuâs face was still full of disbelief, Shen Jiu suddenly pulled out the sword.
The atmosphere changed in such a split second. They hadnât even spoken a few sentences and a massacre occurred!
Shen Jiu stood in a daze. One hand covering his abdomen, Young Master Qiu aggressively snatched back the sword and kicked him to the ground, yelling, âHelp!â
Shen Jiu hurriedly threw himself over to grab his boots. During the ensuing violent scuffle, a few old servants rushed in the door. Seeing this type of scene in the study, they began to shout in loud voices. Shen Jiu, in panic and fear, made some sort of seal and the sword in Young Master Qiuâs hand suddenly shot out to skewer the old servants through their chests.
The next he turned his head, Young Master Qiu was staggering towards him, scarlet-covered hands reaching for his hair. Shen Jiu stabbed out again, this time piercing his lung.
And then, stab after stab, using his full strength, Shen Jiu stabbed fifty times in a row, fiercer and fiercer, the expression on his face growing more and more malevolent until the bodyâs face and vitals were a bloody mess of flesh. Then, he finally stopped, panting for breath.
This must have been Shen Jiuâs first kill, and the first time he killed someone using his own spiritual energy.
Luo bingge even though he knew what would happen ,still had a deep frown in his face. He couldn't help but be worried about Shen jiu.
Shen Jiu stared blankly at the room full of toppled corpses for a while. Suddenly, he awakened, throwing down the sword with a clang. He paced back and forth through the study, subconsciously wiping his hands on his clothes again and again, looking like he was out of his wits. But, he was only distracted for a spell and managed to calm down extremely quickly. This whole process of changing states of mind took less than a minute. This type of mind.
Shen Jiu halted, experimentally hooking his finger. The ghastly blood-covered sword on the ground slowly rose.
Seeing the sharp sword flying before him, a strange sort of excitement blossomed on Shen Jiuâs face, and he took the sword firmly in his grasp!
He flicked the point of the sword and strode out of the study, murder weapon in hand.
Luo bingge followed him.
Shen Jiu had just turned a corner when he ran into two burly house servants. With a wave of his arm, a cold light flashed out to skirt against two oily-fat necks and blood spurted like fountains.
Shen Jiu was practically killing people on sight. The more he killed, the more enthusiastic he was; the sinister smile at the corner of his mouth tilted up into a more and more ferocious expression. Unceasing blood-curdling screams followed his path as he efficiently beheaded a dozen people. Luo bingge noticed that he only killed men and not a single woman. The division between sexes was clear, and the direction of his hatred was very obvious. The little maids and servant women all hid in the corners of the kitchen, not daring to come out, and he didnât go out of his way to silence them.
While watching this shocking scene in trepidation, a cry of fear suddenly sounded out from behind.
Qiu Haitang stood at the end of the long corridor, blankly staring in their direction. Shen Jiu was covered in fresh blood like some sort of living ghoul, just drawing his sword from a servantâs neck.
Qiu Haitangâs bright and beautiful face twitched a few times. Her eyes rolling back, she collapsed in a puddle of blood.
Clearly, this girl was the type to faint at crucial times all along.
Seeing Qiu Haitang, Shen Jiu cooled down a bit and his sword hand drooped down. After muttering to himself for a bit, he set off for the kitchen.
Not long after, a fire began to burn. The black night clouds above the Qiu residence reflected red light like the lava of purgatory.
Shen Jiu had dragged Qiu Haitangâs body outside into a shrub when a wordless figure appeared from behind. He threw his head around, sword in hand and an ominous glint in his eye, but let out a held breath when he saw who it was. âElder.â
This âElderâ had to be that Wu Yanzi who set up shop in the city to show off spiritual tricks, the one who incited Shen Jiuâs rebellious uprising.
The other said cruelly, âYou didnât kill them all?â
Shen Jiu was silent for a time, then said, âThe person I wanted to kill is already dead.â
The person said, âActually, one of the things your brother said was not wrong. Though your innate talent is admittedly good, youâve already passed the optimal time to begin cultivating. In addition, after suffering torture, even your bones are somewhat damaged. From now on you should be able to achieve some success, but actually climbing to the peak is impossible. If it were a few years earlier, then it would be a different question.â
Since this person had heard Young Master Qiuâs words, that meant he had watched this wretched play from head to tail. But, he had no intention of interfering, only making like a wall to observe. Looks like this âElderâ wasnât any sort of gentle character. If Shen Jiu really followed him, it probably wouldnât be on any sunlit open road.
Luo bingge had thought that even after entering late, one could reach core formation in ten or so years. This bodyâs aptitude was already quite impressiveâhow could he guess that the original Shen jiu's ability was another level higher? Knowing the truth of the situation, even an unambitious person like him would inevitably sigh in regret. In addition, it wasnât hard to understand why the ambitious and aggressive original goods always had a heart full of resentment and always felt aggrieved. After all, it hurt much more to have had and lost than never to have had at all.
Blue veins popped up on Shen Jiuâs sword hand. He said coldly, âThat beast isnât my brother. In addition, now that things have reached this stage, is there another path I can take? Are you giving me another path?â
That person had already turned around. Seeing Shen Jiu still standing at the gate of the Qiu residence, he asked, âYouâre still not coming? Who are you waiting for?â
This âWho are you waiting for?â should have just been a throwaway rhetorical question, meant to urge him to follow. Shen Jiu turned to gaze into the blaze shooting into the sky, his pupils seeming to ignite along with the Qiu residence.
The lucky survivors of the Qiu house servants fought to escape, all fearing to be the last. In the chaos of cries and howls, only his pale silhouette stood steadfast in front of the gate, scarlet and yellow firelight playing shadows across his body, intertwining in a messy dance.
The fire in the Qiu residence blazed higher and higher, and the roof beams collapsed. A pale track seemed to have washed itself into the layer of ash on Shen Jiuâs smoke-covered face.
He forcibly tossed the sword into a sea of fire, turning to follow his master.
âI wonât wait anymore.â
Nevertheless, Qiu Haitang was innocent. Her love was deep, her hate was righteous, and she hadnât really done anything wrong in this whole affair. But, revenge had ground this artless and innocent girl into a bitter woman with a heart full of schemes.
The scene changed. But this scence was still in the Qiu clan's residence.
Author kaiu :The next two scenes are my own scenes.
This was before Shen jiu's slaughter. This time Shen jiu was standing closely to the wall as if he had backed away.
"Why... Are you scared... Don't worry. Only both of us will know." Qiu Jianluo walked closer to Shen jiu. And lenses over to his ear. He licked Shen jiu's ear. Shen jiu shuddered .
Luo bingge leapt over at Qiu Jianluo in an attempt to punch him. But it didn't work.
No matter how much he begged Qiu Jianluo didn't bat an ear. Instead he felt more and more happy.
As Qiu Jianluo started to undress himself. Shen jiu started crouching up to the corner of the room. Before Qiu Jianluo had took of his inner robe. Shen jiu give a punch in the stomach.
Qiu Jianluo stumbled back while Shen jiu ran outside. Qiu Jianluo was about to follow him but the punch was too hard and he couldn't stand up. Suddenly he heard Qiu haitang's voice. He crawled over to the door and locked it. He put on his clothes back on.
After that he never tried to harass Shen jiu ever again. The punch Shen jiu have him felt as if all his organs had shrank back and hit each other .
Luo bingge sighed in relief. He looked over to his palm and realised he had dug his nails deeply on to his skin.
Suddenly the scene changed. It was no longer in the Qiu clan's residence. This seemed to be after the slaughter in the Qiu clan. But this place made Luo bingge grow gloomy. This was actually a brothel.
A bed layed in front of him and Shen jiu was sitting on it while four ladies surrounded him. But when Luo bingge noticed what was going on he calmed down.
Seems like Shen jiu didn't come over for any physical pleasures. Instead the brothel was actually like a home to him. He looked at the scence of the four ladies taking care of Shen jiu as if taking care of their little brother. Shen jiu addressing them as Jie Jie .One lady was tying Shen jiu's hair. While the others were either playing songs or teasing and putting accessories on Shen jiu's hair.
Luo bingge smiled. He realised that Shen jiu despised or was afraid of men While he was comfortable around women.
Hi guys so that's it for today. This was a really long Chapter. I am sorry if there were any mistakes I didn't recheck. And about the scene where Qiu Jianluo almost r*ped Shen jiu. I heard some people talk about it. And I was a bit confused because I don't remember something like that in the novel. But i decided to add it since it made sense at why he was afraid of men.
