In Your Arms... Completed ✔️

His words pierced deep into her ears breaking the silence of her soul and pulling her into solitude. It seemed as if she was feeling blue. His words fell on deaf ears. She felt a bit down in the dumps. The Jasmine and ginger bread fragrance of the first summer rain hit hard the nostrils of the two people sitting silently with lots of uninterrupted thoughts hovering above in their minds. The distance of the two hearts made them two strangers for each other. Samaira felt as if she was back stabbed .She sat there with a drooped posture, shoulders slumped , face turned downwards. The feeling of lethargy kept her quite.Samaira felt a lump in her throat and her chest tightened. Her eyes became watery and her feet started to tremble. Not able to bear the moment , she compiled herself and got up from the table and moved away silently. She went to the kitchen to wind it up while wiping away the tears that had welled up in her eyes moments ago and they couldn't stay back in the eyes and gave way down the soft and sad face making them wet. She sobbed silently and her sobs were engulfed by the deep silence of the rainy night. She went and sat at the balcony of the living room to calm herself and to provide some space to her outflowing emotions that made her heart heavy. Sitting in the dark with the chill winds hitting her body gave her goosebumps. She vividly remembered the good old days that were engraved in her heart for a lifetime. She could still recollect the memories of them walking on the beach , feeling the strong wind brushing against their shoulders that sent a current through their body energizing their heart and soul. She could recall them walking hand in hand, slowly and uniformly on the warm, gritty shimmery sand leaving a trail of footprints behind them which unfortunately were quickly washed away by the ocean water. It was just comforting to feel the silence, tranquility and warmth of the faint setting sun. The calming sound of the waves colliding with the compacted wet sand on the beach provided solace to the body and mind. The sun was setting and it's glare was not intense but soft enough to be watched. It was just a small heaven crowned by the presence of her beloved. All these thoughts caused a lone tear to escape from her eye which soon got dried . Her trance was broken by the hooting of night birds that depicted that rain had stopped a long time back.A cluster of jugnoos had lighted up the dark night. Realising the time...she went inside her room to provide some rest to her weak body.To be continued in next part.Stay tuned.
