CHAPTER 44- FLAWS AND ALL
BRUTAL MINDS (A DARK ROMANCE)
Lisa's performance went on and Allison couldn't help but notice the eye contact she was making with Hades. Innocent but with hidden intent. How can she look at my husband like that?! She fumed within herself but then gasped in realization that she just referred to this Man as her husband for the very first time.
"Such a talented young lady."
"You know dear Lisa has been playing since she was a child."
"It's always a pleasure to have her around.
"You know she grew up together with Hades."
"Really?" How come I didn't know this?"
"You do now. Personally, I had really looked forward to the two together."
"It would have been a marvelous union."
The whispers from the two women by her left, filtered into her ears.
Childhood sweethearts? Allison thought, sourly and as for those preferring Lisa with Hades, all they needed was a little more patience till the end of this contract and everything would go as smoothly as they had hoped. She thought, angry now as she got up from her seat, having no more guts to sit and listen to Lisa play and seduce her husband with her eyes right in front of her.
Screw them all!
Hades took notice of her leaving and it brought a smile to his lips. She was jealous? Good! Because everything had been intentional. From the way he looked at Lisa, to the undivided attention he gave her performance. It was all to see if she would get upset or maintain her cool and he was glad, she lost it.
Allison walked along the corridor and stumbled on an in-house library. She got in and shut the door. She found a sofa and sat there, alone. This was much better than the dining hall. Not long, she heard the door creak open and she turned around in surprise.
"All alone honey?"
It was Hades.
"Why are you here? Are the events over yet?"
"No."
"Oh..."
Hades casually strolled in. "I see you're here for the same reason I am. Lisa is torturing the piano."
Allison couldn't help but laugh. "I think she's an excellent pianist."
"Yes she is but it's her audience she tortures."
"You're sounding so mean." She said as if she wasn't enjoying every bit of his resentment. "So many books...." She changed the topic, her eyes taking in the shelfs.
"I don't think they've been updated since the last time."
"How would you know?"
"I've read a great number of them to know."
"Oh really?"
He nodded.
"I didn't know you read."
"There was a lot I loved doing that I had to put a stop to."
"And why?"
"My father wouldn't accommodate anything that wasn't business related."
"Oh, I'm sorry."
"Don't be." Hades checked his watch. "The performance should be over by now. Mind heading back and joining the others?"
Allison nodded. "I'll be there in a few minutes." She said and Hades left before her.
Maybe she had been overreacting. See? He didn't even like her performance? She thought, not able to help smiling like a dummy. However all her day dreaming had come to a brutal crashing end when she stepped into the main hall only to see, Hades and Freda dancing the ballroom dance together. Her heart caught up in her throat as she saw his hand placement, on her hips!
Calm down Allison, calm down.
Screw self control! She thought. Damn it! She whimpered defeatedly, suddenly realizing Freda was the curvy woman that she wasn't and she wouldn't stand a chance beside her any day. Was that the case? Did Hades prefer his women with curves? She thought, painfully. Afterall, a good number of men did and Hades was probably no different.
Lisa was also curvy and Venice was probably curvy too and I'm definitely the only slender woman in his dictionary. She fisted her hands, pained. This was all my mother's fault! Allison fumed. If I had taken over my grandmother or Vera, I'd have been curvy too! With a frustrated sigh, she left the building.
If only I was equally endowed also.
"Allison!" He called out to her but she didn't listen and increased her pace towards the car instead.
"Will you bloody stop?"
But she wasn't listen and wasn't looking either as she tripped over and feel, her heel got stuck to the ground.
Stupid shoes!
"Sorry about that" Hades said as He helped her up and noticed she was now limping. He got into the backseat after her.
"Does it hurt?"
"Let's just go home." She said, cutting him off.
"Drive please...." He told the driver. "....and slowly."
"Yes sir."
Then He pressed a button and causing a soundproof barrier to close up between the back seat and the front seat in such a way that the driver couldn't see what was happening at the back.
"You sound upset."
"I'm not!"
"You are." He smiled, faintly. "Freda insisted I honored her with a dance and I couldn't refuse her in front of all those people. She's also family you know."
"I don't care! You should have refused her and you didn't."
"Oh?" This was getting out of hand and he loved it. "Well then wife....." He pulled her by the arm and made her sit on his thighs.
"What are you doing?"
"Sit properly Allison." He said, firmly, sparing no room for argument.
"Wh...at?"
"One leg on each side."
She straddled herself to him as she sat on both laps, facing him. He held her back supporting her and the other on her waist, simply because he liked it there.
"Thats it. Good girl." He praised, smirking faintly, sending shivers down her spine.
"Now....let's talk about what's been upsetting you? You look terrible wearing a frown."
"You smell of her." Allison said, disgusted.
"Is that so?"
"That's not your perfume and it's not mine either. If I smell her on you any much longer, I might as well puke."
"What would you have me do?"
"Take off your suit and trash it!" She said, pulling at his tie.
"Do it for me then." He said, a playful smirk playing on the side of his lips as He watched her actually rid him of his suit leaving just the black sleeve underneath.
"Better?"
"No!"
"Whatelse did I do wrong? Allison you have to understand she's family."
"Oh I see and as family, you had to go grabbing her hips!"
Hades eyes shot open in surprise and she immediately regretted letting that part out.
"Oh?" Hades quirked an eyebrow, intrigued. "Would you prefer I had grabbed yours instead?"
I have none so shut up! She yelled, internally. She felt his hand creep down her backside. Pervert! She thought.
"Give me permission Allison." He asked, smiling playfully.
"I'm small." She whispered, pained.
"What?"
"I'm not enough." She admitted. "Lisa...she's...she's beautiful and elegant and poise and not to mention her killer figure."
"Mmm." Hades could finally understand what was going on here. She was feeling insecure. There was no way he was going to let that slide.
"And also Freda. Was Venice...like Lisa?" She asked, wising he said the opposite.
"Yes, Venice was curvy." He said watching her suppress a wince down her throat.
"But that doesn't make me adore you any less."
"What do you mean?"
"You're different Allison and different isn't such a bad thing darling."
"Isn't it?" Her face was still a mask of sadness. "I have to use hip paddings whenever I wear a dress or a skirt." She admitted.
"What? Why?"
"Don't you get it?" Ofcourse he wouldn't, he was a man afterall. "I've got dips, hip dips." She bit her lips, ashamed.
"Is that a medical condition?" He asked confused and it made her laugh.
"No silly." She sobered up quickly. "It's a natural state for some women."
"Tell me about it."
"I don't want to."
"Don't be ashamed to tell me anything. I only want to know about this because my woman happens to have them and has been hiding them for years."
"What if you happen to hate them?"
"As long as it's attached to you, then I'm prepared to go in blind and hopelessly fall in love with them."
"Really?"
"Flaws and all baby."
She smiled, dimly, her heart warmed inside her. "Some hips don't go outwards, they just seem to leave a gap." She said, watching his expression, keenly.
"Go on..."
"Like a reverse of actual hips, they just seem to go inwards. It's actually as a result of the pelvis bone structure of some women."
"Is that all?"
She nodded.
"I'd love to see you without paddings one day."
"Huh?"
"Yes. I won't have you feeling insecure anymore because I absolutely love all your insecurities and you along with them."
She gasped, suddenly realizing this Man just made a confession to her.
"Did I hear you right?"
"Yes Allison." He smiled. "And besides, I prefer you small."
"Is that so?" She asked, her cheeks burning with embarrassment.
"Being small is perfect. You're the perfect size for my hands. I mean what's the use of having big hands if you aren't small? We compliment perfectly darling." Hades said, a smirk on his lips leaving her speechless.
Fuck butterflies! This Man right here was sending off fireworks in her belly.
The car came to a halt as they finally arrived back home and Hades had to carry her bridal style all the way into the house as she couldn't walk with her twisted ankle. He took her to his bedroom and lay her gently on the bed.
"What will help?" He asked.
"Hot water perharps and balm."
"Where can I find the balm?"
"There's a first aid kit downstairs in the living room."
"I'll get it." He said and she watched him disappear from sight.
She decided to take a quick shower before he got back and into the bathroom she went. Turning on the shower and letting the water rush over her bare skin. She caught sight of herself in the mirror and for the first time she blushed at the sight of her dips.
He loves them just like this.
She thought, flattered.
Her bosoms were also small. She thought as she looked at he chest in the mirror. A little below medium....she sulked, picturing her Lisa looked. How could he have such a perfect ex? She groaned, pained.
Being small is perfect. You're the perfect size for my hands.
Yet another blush crept up her cheeks.
"He loves them just like that." She giggled.
Would you prefer I had grabbed yours instead?
What's the use of having big hands if you aren't small? We compliment perfectly darling.
"How would his hands even feel on me?" She asked her reflection in the mirror.
"No doubt his hands would be the size of my bra, or even bigger? Oh Allison! Shut up." She winced to herself. But her nipples seemed to say 'sorry girl, too late!' As they hardened into tight buds.
"Oh shit! No no no! Urgh! Did you have to?Stupid things!" She yelled, cupping them with her hands.
"Don't scold the poor things darling, I would hate for them to get offended."
"What the hell?"
She gasped in shock as she turned around, dumbstruck and distraught to the bones to find Hades leaning casually against the door.
