Manasvini was getting ready for the evening. She choose the last set to wear, it was a pretty baby blue knee-length dress with off-the-shoulder, bowknot sleeves. The dress has a simple umbrella cut flare, it was simple and classy. She tied her hair up into a party bun. A thick strand of hair with curls from mid-length to the end was cupping her face from both sides. She then put on a rose pink shade of lipstick with light makeup, followed by the accessories. Then finally she grabbed the white pair of ankle strap heels.She picked the clutch from the bed, admiring herself in the mirror and giving a flying kiss to her reflection she walked out of the bedroom, closing the door behind she imitated as a model. Soon the door of the bedroom got opened and she walked inside... "I forgot the perfume..." She flashed a silly smile at the beautiful reflection of hers. "Someday... Even the perfume's name sounds mysterious" She placed the bottle on the dressing table after wearing it and finally walked out of her house. She came downstairs and found him standing by the car's side. He was wearing a midnight black colour three-piece suit with a baby blue tie. He paired them with a black dial watch and black formal shoes. She moved her eyes down to see the colour of the dress she was wearing and it was identical to the colour of his tie. "So it's..." She was mumbling but got cut off in the middle by Vihaan... "We are already late" he added and opened the door for her. Vihaan's eyes were refusing to get off from her as she was walking towards him. He was trying hard to avert his gaze. She got into the car and he closed the door. His heartbeats were running crazily. Taking a few deep breaths he went to the driver's seat. He stepped on the accelerator and their journey started. With those two there was also an uninvited guest, voyaging with them... A silence.She was taking glances at him "How can he not say a thing?" She sighed diverting her eyes to the passing street.After 10 minutes of driving, Vihaan finally kicked the silence out of the car... "It's beautiful""Hm?" His words made her turn her eyes to him"The dress" he added looking at the road ahead."Thank you" she replied moving her gaze back to the passing view. Something changed... A smile appeared on her pink lips."Complimenting his own gift" her smile widened as the thought arose. On the other hand, Vihaan was stealing glances at her, he had one more gift but was hesitant to give that to her. After 10 more minutes of driving, they reached the venue. Handing the keys to the valet, they stepped inside. Manasvini and Vihaan were walking side by side in the lobby and he stopped while she was still walking ahead."Manu..." Hearing the name, her steps halted. It's been a while since he addressed her by that name. She turned to look at him... He took a small box out of his pocket. But before he could give that to her, someone else stole her attention. "If I knew you were so hot, I would be a part of that bet too" Samar added checking her out. Samar was also invited to the party as an employee of the Sinha group. "It's still not too late, we can give it a try" With those words, he winked and moved a step closer to her. Samar reached her hand, bringing it towards himself he was about to place a peck... but she snatched her hand out from his grip.His actions ignited the anger inside Vihaan, he moved towards them to teach him a proper lesson but someone else arrived there first.Aarav came to them dashing Vihaan behind "Keep your hands off her" he glared at Samar and pushed him away."Let's go" Aarav came with Lily but extended his hand in front of Manasvini to join him."But I..." She hesitated. Manasvini wanted to decline his request but Vihaan grabbed Lily's hand and walked inside the hall."Can we go now?" He added sweetly, giving her a smile he braced her hand and began stepping. Aarav was wearing an all-black suit which was perfectly enhancing his personality. He was spreading a strong mysterious aura, catching every single person's attention. As soon as they entered the hall, her eyes moved to search for Vihaan. She spotted him at the right side of the hall talking with his fellow businesspersons. While Lily came to Aarav and Manasvini. "Aarav, Mr Roy from the RS group is asking for you," She said."I'll be back in a minute" he added before leaving Manasvini was all alone. it was always the same, she never enjoy coming to this kind of party as she always feel left out. In this past year, she attended 4 to 5 business parties with Vihaan. He kept her accompanied the whole time but today he wasn't there by her side. The environment was making her uncomfortable. And a voice snatched her attention..."You are looking so beautiful"
