I've prayed for you

The face of an angel waiting to take my hand

I have to recall all my mistakes

Will you add to them?

But oh how you're so different

God really made me wait a while

I now know he showed me all the flaws that I've confused with perfection

I wanted to fix over and over

Took everyone's imperfections for mine to heal

No one should live that way

Somehow I realize that it's me who needs the healing

Will you lure me into your heaven?

Deep down I'm scared you'll see there's too much scar tissue

Too bare for you to handle
