Disappointment

I played my part quite perfect

You left me like a fool still pretending

You didn't need to see what was underneath

I lost it when you took you're own path away from me

Maybe it's not you leaving

It's me not having another reality

When I'm with you, it seems to fade at an amazing speed

Too fast for us to grow

Not long enough for me to remember

Maybe that's best
