Silence
Broken.
Silence is almost as scary as the noise
At least the noise leaves
Yet the silence
The one you're scared to be alone with
It never does
No matter how hard you try
Covering your ears yet it won't go away
It's screaming at you
Its all in your head
It's reminding you of your pain
The things you can't forget
I sometimes like to sit there in silence
The silence always tells the truth
The noise is only a distraction
A distraction, yes
We all need it
But leave me be
My silence is the one who'll stay with me
