A KISS
at the party:
"You're infuriating, you know that?" Aisha whispered, her breath mingling with his.
"And you drive me crazy" Yuvraj replied, his lips dangerously close to hers.
For a moment, it seemed like they would kiss, the intensity between them building to a boiling point. But at the last second, Aisha turned her head away, breaking the spell.
"This doesn't change anything" she said, her voice trembling slightly.
Yuvraj smirked, but there was a softness in his eyes. "Maybe not. But it's a start."
They continued dancing, the tension between them palpable, each lost in their thoughts about what might happen next.

Aisha sat at the corner table of the dimly lit bar, surrounded by her friends who chatted animatedly. Their voices merged into a background buzz as she sipped her drink, her gaze constantly flicking towards Yuvraj. Something had shifted between them earlier that day, and she couldn't shake off the weight of it.
"Yaar, Aisha, are you even listening?" Riya nudged her gently, breaking her reverie.
Aisha blinked, refocusing on Riya's concerned face. "Sorry, what were you saying?"
Riya exchanged a knowing glance with Naina before continuing, "We were talking about that new project. You seemed lost."
Aisha nodded vaguely, her mind drifting back to the conversation she had with Yuvraj earlier. There was a tension between them, unspoken yet palpable. She took another sip, trying to drown her confusion in the bittersweetness of the cocktail.
Yuvraj's words echoed in her mind, his voice tinged with an unfamiliar edge, "And you drive me crazy,"
"Aisha?" Neha's voice interrupted her thoughts this time. "You've barely said a word all evening. Everything okay?"
Aisha forced a smile. "Yeah, just a bit tired, I guess."
Why did he have to look at me like that? Aisha wondered silently. As if everything has changed between us.
As the night wore on, Aisha found herself drawn back to Yuvraj, who was now engrossed in conversation with a group of friends at the bar. She couldn't decipher his expressions anymore. Was it regret? Anger? Or was it something else entirely?
"Let's dance!" Riya exclaimed suddenly, pulling Aisha from her thoughts. She hesitated for a moment, her eyes flickering once more towards Yuvraj. Then, with a sigh, she nodded and followed her friends onto the dance floor, trying to lose herself in the music and the lights.
But no matter how hard she tried, Aisha couldn't shake off the feeling that tonight, everything had changed between her and Yuvraj. And as much as she wanted to deny it, she knew deep down that she couldn't ignore it forever.

It was already past midnight therefore Aisha decided to head back home but Naina didn't allow her to go back alone, as it was not safe for her to be alone. Therefore Naina asked her brother, Yuvraj to drop Aisha at her home safely.
Naina said to Aisha "Aish, don't worry. Bhai will drop you home safely."
Aisha sat in the backseat of Yuvraj's car, her mind racing with confusion and frustration. What was I thinking? Why did I almost kiss him? She glanced at Yuvraj, who was focused on the road, his jaw tense. The streetlights flickered past, casting fleeting shadows on his face.
Aisha nodded, but inside, turmoil churned. I don't want this. I shouldn't be here.
As they neared her house, Aisha's anxiety peaked. Yuvraj pulled up smoothly, bringing the car to a stop. A tense silence hung in the air, broken only by the soft hum of the engine.
Yuvraj turned to her suddenly, his eyes locking onto hers with intensity. Aisha froze, her heart pounding in her chest. His hand reached out, cupping her cheek, and before she could react, he pulled her close, his lips crashing onto hers in a rough, desperate kiss.
"Aisha" Yuvraj's voice was low, almost a growl, "I can't stop myself."
Conflicting emotions surged through Aisha as Yuvraj's kiss deepened, sending a shockwave of heat through her body. His hands tangled in her hair, pulling her closer, and she responded instinctively, her hands finding their way around his neck.
The kiss grew more heated, passion igniting between them like wildfire. Aisha's mind raced with confusion and desire, her thoughts in chaos. What am I doing? Why does this feel so right and yet so wrong?
Moments later, they broke apart, both breathing heavily. Yuvraj's gaze bore into hers, a mixture of desire and conflict in his eyes. Aisha's cheeks burned with embarrassment and guilt.
"I'm sorry" Yuvraj murmured, his voice rough with emotion.
Aisha shook her head, unable to find words. She stumbled out of the car, her legs shaky.
As Aisha hurried inside her house, she leaned against the door, trying to steady her racing heart. What just happened? She touched her lips, still tingling from Yuvraj's kiss.

Yuvraj sat on the edge of his bed, his hands nervously gripping his phone. His mind raced with regret and frustration. Damn it, I messed up big time he thought, running a hand through his hair. He dialed his friend's number, needing to talk to someone he could trust.
"Yash" Yuvraj spoke as soon as his friend picked up. "I... I need to tell you something."
"What's up, man?" Yash's voice came through the line, concerned.
"I kissed Aisha" Yuvraj blurted out, the words tasting bitter as they left his mouth.
There was a pause on the other end. "Without her consent?" Yash asked, his tone serious.
Yuvraj nodded, though Yash couldn't see him. "Yeah. I know it was wrong, but she... she looked so pretty tonight, and then I saw her dancing with Vikram, and I just lost it."
Yash sighed, understanding the gravity of the situation. "Look, Yuvraj, you messed up, no doubt about it. But you need to apologize to her. Tell her you're sorry, sincerely. And promise yourself you won't let your emotions control you like that again."
Yuvraj listened, feeling a weight lift off his chest with his friend's advice. "Yeah, you're right. I'll talk to her tomorrow. Thanks, Yash."
"Anytime, buddy. Just remember, learn from this."
They hung up, leaving Yuvraj alone with his thoughts. Tomorrow, he would face Aisha and confront his mistake head-on.
