A KISS

Aisha sat on her bed, her fingers hovering over her phone's keyboard. She took a deep breath before typing a message to Naina.

Hey Naina, can we meet at Café Aroma this evening? I need to talk to you about something important.

She hit send and waited anxiously for a response. Within minutes, Naina replied.

Sure, Aish. I'll be there at 6. See you then!

Aisha sighed with relief and put her phone down. She knew this conversation was necessary, but it didn't make it any less daunting.

at Café Aroma:

Café Aroma was their favorite spot, a cozy little café with a warm ambiance and the best coffee in town. Aisha arrived early, her mind racing with thoughts about how to break the news to Naina. She ordered a cappuccino and sat at their usual table by the window.

Naina walked in a few minutes later, her face lighting up when she saw Aisha.

"Hey, Aish! You look worried. Kya hua?" Naina asked, sitting down across from her.

Aisha took a deep breath, her hands trembling slightly. "Naina, mujhe tumse kuch zaruri baat karni hai."

Naina's expression turned serious. "Aisha, tum theek ho na? Kya baat hai?"

Aisha hesitated for a moment before speaking. "Naina, tum jaanti ho ki main aur Yuvraj kaafi close ho gaye hain recent months mein."

Naina raised an eyebrow. "Haan, I noticed you guys had kissed too, so now spill the tea?"

Aisha looked into Naina's eyes, her voice trembling. "Naina, Yuvraj aur main...we're in love."

There was a moment of silence as Naina processed this information. Her initial reaction was one of disbelief. "Wait, what? Tum meri best friend ho aur Yuvraj mera bhai. How?"

Aisha took Naina's hands in hers, her eyes pleading for understanding. "It just happened, Naina. Hum dono ne realize kiya ki hum ek dusre se pyar karte hain. I know it's a lot to take in, but I couldn't hide it from you any longer."

Naina leaned back in her chair, a myriad of emotions playing across her face. "Aisha, I just... I never thought of my idiot brother as someone you would fall for. You deserve a lot better.

Aisha smiled softly, understanding her friend's protective instincts. "I know he's not perfect, Naina. But he's perfect for me. He makes me happy, and I love him more than anything."

Naina sighed, her expression softening. "Aisha, agar tum dono ek dusre se itna pyar karte ho, toh tum dono deserve a happy ending. I am with you."

Aisha's eyes filled with tears of gratitude. "Thank you, Naina. Tumhare bina yeh sab bahut mushkil hota."

Naina hugged her best friend tightly. "Aisha, you are my best friend. Tumhare liye main kuch bhi kar sakti hoon."

A few weeks later, Aisha and Yuvraj decided it was time to tell their families about their relationship. They gathered both families at Yuvraj's penthouse for a special announcement. The tension in the air was palpable as everyone arrived and settled in the living room.

Mr. and Mrs. Kapoor, Aisha's parents, sat on one side, while Mr. and Mrs. Rathore, Yuvraj's parents, sat on the other. Naina and Aman, Yuvraj's sister and brother, sat nearby, their expressions curious.

Yash joined them shortly after, giving Aisha and Yuvraj a reassuring smile. "Tum dono ready ho?" he whispered to them.

Yuvraj nodded, squeezing Aisha's hand. "Haan, let's do this."

Yuvraj cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention. "Mom, Dad, Uncle and Aunty, hum dono aapko kuch zaruri baat batana chahte hain."

The room fell silent as everyone focused on the couple standing in front of them.

"Actually," Aisha began, her voice trembling slightly, "Hum dono... we're in together. Yuvraj aur main, we've been together for a while now."

There was a stunned silence followed by a collective gasp. Mr. Kapoor was the first to react, his expression a mix of shock and disbelief. "Kya? Aisha, yeh tum kya keh rahi ho?"

Mrs. Kapoor placed a calming hand on her husband's arm, her eyes filled with curiosity. "Aisha, beta, tum sach keh rahi ho?"

Aisha nodded, her eyes pleading for understanding. "Haan, Mom, Dad. Hum dono ek dusre se pyar karte hain."

Mr. Rathore leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms. "Yuvraj, tumne yeh sab humein pehle kyu nahi bataya?"

Yuvraj took a deep breath, his voice steady. "Dad, We needed some time. But ab humein yakeen hai ki hum ek dusre ke liye bane hain."

Mrs. Rathore smiled knowingly, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Mujhe pehle hi shaq tha. Tum dono ko saath dekh kar lagta tha ki kuch toh ha."

Naina stood up, walking over to her parents. "Mom, Dad, I support them. They love each other and deserve to be happy."

Aman, who had been silent until now, spoke up. "Main bhi agree karta hoon. They are made for each other."

Mr. Kapoor's expression softened, but he still had a hint of concern in his voice. "Aisha, beta, tumne socha hai yeh sab theek se?"

Aisha nodded confidently. "Yes, Dad. Yuvraj is the one I want to spend my life with."

There was a moment of silence before Mr. Kapoor finally smiled, his eyes filled with pride. "Agar tum khush ho, beta, toh hum bhi khush hain."

Mrs. Rathore chuckled, looking at Aisha with a playful warning. "Aisha, humara beta thoda nasamaj hai. Tumhe sab sambhalna padega."

"Mom!" Yuvraj cried.

Everyone burst into laughter, the tension in the room dissolving into joy and celebration.

The rest of the evening was filled with laughter, stories, and heartfelt conversations. Both families embraced the couple, offering their support and blessings.

"Yeh dono toh pehle se hi shaadi shuda lagte hain," Naina teased, earning a playful shove from Yuvraj.

Aisha laughed, her heart swelling with happiness. "Naina, you're such a sweetheart. I'm so glad you're with us."

Yash, who had been watching the whole scene with a smile, walked over to Yuvraj. "Congratulations, buddy. Tum dono ke beech jo pyar hai, It's special"

Yuvraj grinned, pulling Yash into a hug. "Thanks, Yash. Tumhara support bhi zaruri tha."

As the evening progressed, the families shared funny anecdotes and memories. Mr. Kapoor, always the storyteller, entertained everyone with tales of Aisha's childhood.

"Aisha jab choti thi, tab bhi bahut ziddi thi," Mr. Kapoor said, making everyone laugh.

Mrs. Kapoor added, "Aur Yuvraj jab pehli baar hamare ghar aaya tha, tab itna nervous tha ki chai bhi gira di thi."

Yuvraj blushed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Woh toh pehla din tha, ab toh main sambhal gaya hoon."

Mrs. Rathore shook her head, smiling. "Nahi beta, tum ab bhi sambhalne layak nahi ho."

Aisha and Yuvraj exchanged a loving glance, their hearts filled with gratitude and joy.

As the night drew to a close, everyone gathered for a final toast.

"To Aisha and Yuvraj," Naina said, raising her glass. "May your love always be as strong as it is today."

"Cheers!" everyone echoed, clinking their glasses together.

Yuvraj pulled Aisha close, whispering in her ear. "I love you, Aisha."

Aisha smiled, her heart swelling with love. "I love you too, Yuvraj."

As the families and friends gathered their things and prepared to leave, Aisha and Yuvraj stood at the door, thanking everyone for their love and support.

"Thank you so much everyone for supporting us!" Yuvraj said, his voice filled with gratitude. "We love you all."

Aisha nodded, her eyes shining with happiness. "Aap sabka pyar aur support humare liye bahut maayne rakhta hai."

As the last of their guests left, Aisha and Yuvraj stood in the quiet of the penthouse, holding each other close.

"We did it," Aisha whispered, her voice filled with emotion.

"Haan," Yuvraj replied, his eyes filled with love. "This is just the beginning"

They shared a tender kiss, the promise of a beautiful future shining brightly before them.
