A KISS
hospital parking lot:
Yuvraj stood near the dimly lit corner of the hospital's parking lot, his heart racing. The cryptic phone call had left him with a sense of foreboding, but he couldn't shake the feeling that he needed to confront whoever was waiting for him. The shadows seemed to shift, and he spotted a figure walking towards him.
"Yuvraj," the voice called out, and he instantly recognized it. His heart skipped a beat, a mix of confusion and surprise washing over him.
"Anjali?" he whispered, as the figure stepped into the light, revealing his ex-girlfriend.
"It's been a long time," she said, her voice tinged with a strange mix of nostalgia and determination.
Yuvraj was stunned. "What are you doing here?"
Anjali smiled, but it didn't reach her eyes. "I heard about your father's condition. I wanted to see if you were okay."
Yuvraj's mind raced. Anjali and he had parted ways on difficult terms. Her sudden appearance now, during his father's health crisis, was the last thing he expected. "Thank you for your concern, but why the secrecy? Why not just call me directly?"
Anjali looked down, hesitating. "I didn't think you'd want to see me, considering how we left things."
Yuvraj took a deep breath, trying to process this unexpected turn of events. "This isn't the time, Anjali. My father is in the hospital, and I have a lot on my plate."
"I understand," Anjali said, taking a step closer. "But I need to talk to you, Yuvraj. It's important."
He shook his head, frustrated. "What could be so important right now?"
Anjali's eyes hardened. "It's about us. I realized I made a mistake, Yuvraj. Leaving you was the worst decision of my life. I want another chance."
Yuvraj felt a rush of emotionsâanger, confusion, and a hint of something else he couldn't quite place. "Anjali, this isn't the time for this conversation."
"I know," she replied, her voice softening. "But I couldn't stay away any longer. Seeing you like this, I realized I still care about you."
Yuvraj's mind was spinning. He needed to get back to his father, but he also needed to sort out this sudden complication. "We'll talk later. Right now, I need to be with my family."
Anjali nodded, looking disappointed but understanding. "I'll be around. Please, just think about what I said."
Yuvraj watched her walk away, his heart heavy. He couldn't deny the history they shared, but right now, his priorities were clear. He turned and headed back to the hospital, his thoughts a jumble of confusion and resolve.

Hospital Room, Two Weeks Later:
The next two weeks were a whirlwind of worry, hope, and relief. Yuvraj's father had a slow but steady recovery, and the doctors were optimistic about his condition. Yuvraj spent every possible moment by his father's side, supported by Aisha, who had been a rock through the entire ordeal.
"Papa is going to be discharged soon," Yuvraj told Aisha one evening, relief evident in his voice.
"That's wonderful news, Yuvraj," Aisha replied, smiling warmly. "He's a strong man. Just like his son."
Yuvraj felt a rush of gratitude and affection towards Aisha. She had been there for him through every crisis, every sleepless night. "I couldn't have done it without you, Aisha. You've been my anchor."
Aisha blushed slightly, looking away. "You would have done the same for me."
As they shared a quiet moment, Yuvraj's phone buzzed. He glanced at it and saw a message from Anjali.
Can we talk? Please?
Yuvraj sighed, the complication of Anjali's reappearance weighing on him. "I need to take care of something," he said to Aisha. "I'll be back soon."
Aisha looked concerned but nodded. "Okay. Just let me know if you need anything."

Yuvraj walked out of the hospital and found Anjali waiting by the entrance. Her eyes lit up as she saw him, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.
"Yuvraj, I'm glad you came," she said, her voice deceptively sweet.
"What do you want, Anjali?" Yuvraj asked, trying to keep his frustration in check.
"I just want to talk," she replied, her smile widening. "Let's go somewhere private."
They walked to a nearby café, and once they were seated, Anjali leaned in, her expression changing. "Yuvraj, I know you're with Aisha now."
Yuvraj's eyes narrowed. "What does that have to do with anything?"
Anjali's smile turned into a smirk. "I don't like the idea of you being with her. She doesn't deserve you."
"Anjali, this is ridiculous. Why are you doing this?" Yuvraj demanded, anger rising in his chest.
"Because I still love you, Yuvraj," Anjali said, her voice dripping with malice. "And I'm not going to let anyone else have you."
Yuvraj leaned back, shocked by her words. "This is insane. You left me, remember?"
Anjali's eyes flashed with anger. "And that was a mistake. But I won't make the same mistake twice. I'm going to get you back, Yuvraj. Even if it means destroying your relationship with Aisha."
"You've changed," Yuvraj said quietly, his voice filled with disappointment.
Anjali leaned forward, her eyes gleaming with a sinister light. "People change, Yuvraj. And I'll do whatever it takes to get what I want."
Yuvraj stood up, his mind made up. "Stay away from me and Aisha. If you try to come between us, you'll regret it."
Anjali's smile faded, replaced by a cold, calculating look. "We'll see about that."
Yuvraj turned and walked away, his heart pounding. He had to protect Aisha from Anjali's malicious intentions. As he made his way back to the hospital, he vowed to do whatever it took to keep his loved ones safe from harm.

Later that night:
Yuvraj returned to the hospital room, his mind heavy with the conversation he'd just had with Anjali. He found Aisha sitting by his father's bedside, gently adjusting his pillows. She looked up as he entered, concern etched on her face.
"Kya hua, Yuvraj? You look worried," she asked, standing up and walking over to him.
Yuvraj took a deep breath. "Aisha, we need to talk. It's about Anjali."
Aisha's expression shifted to one of mild irritation. "Anjali? What about her?"
Yuvraj guided her to the small seating area in the room, where they could speak without disturbing his father. "She told me she wants to get back together. And she doesn't like the idea of us being together. She threatened to destroy our relationship."
Aisha's eyes widened in shock, then narrowed with determination. "Uska dimaag kharab ho gaya hai kya? She thinks she can come back and just ruin everything?"
Yuvraj nodded. "I know. That's why we need to come up with a plan to make sure she stays out of our lives."
Aisha crossed her arms, her mind already working. "Alright, what's the plan?"
Yuvraj leaned in closer, lowering his voice. "First, we need to document everything she says and does. If she tries anything, we'll have proof of her intentions. Second, we need to show her that we're stronger together and that her tactics won't work. And finally, we need to keep her at a distance, make it clear that she's not welcome in our lives anymore."
Aisha nodded, her eyes glinting with determination. "And if she tries to come near you, I'll make sure she knows she's not welcome. Tumhe chhod ke gayi thi na? Ab wapas aane ki zaroorat nahi hai."
Yuvraj smiled, feeling a wave of affection for Aisha. "I knew I could count on you."
Aisha grinned. "Of course. I'm not letting some ex-girlfriend ruin what we have."
Yuvraj reached out and took her hand. "Thank you, Aisha. For everything."
She squeezed his hand back. "Tumhare liye kuch bhi, Yuvraj."
As they sat together, planning their strategy, the mood lightened, and they started to banter playfully.
Aisha smirked. "You know, if she tries to get close to you, I'll just have to remind her who the real boss is."
Yuvraj chuckled. "Aur agar phir bhi nahi samjhi, to main use Raj ko Simran ke pass jaane nahi diya jaisa kar dunga."
Aisha laughed. "Perfect! Hum usse itna pareshaan karenge ki vo khud bhaag jayegi."
They shared a laugh, the tension easing away as they leaned on each other for support.

One Week Later, Rathore Mansion:
Yuvraj's father was finally discharged from the hospital, and the family welcomed him home with open arms. There was a sense of joy and relief that permeated the house, and Yuvraj felt a weight lift off his shoulders.
"Papa, it's so good to have you back," Yuvraj said, helping his father to his favorite chair.
"Thank you, beta," his father replied, his voice still weak but filled with warmth. "I'm proud of you. You've been a pillar of strength."
Yuvraj smiled, feeling a sense of pride and love. "I couldn't have done it alone. Aisha has been a huge support."
His father nodded, looking at Aisha with gratitude. "Thank you, Aisha. You're like a daughter to us."
Aisha blushed, smiling shyly. "It's my pleasure, Uncle."
As they settled into a comfortable routine, Yuvraj felt a sense of peace. He had faced his past, supported his family, and found a new beginning with Aisha.

The next day:
The next day, Yuvraj and Aisha sat in his apartment, discussing their plan in more detail. Aisha was typing furiously on her laptop, creating a document to record everything about Anjali's actions.
"Yuvraj, we need to be very careful. She might try to manipulate you emotionally," Aisha said, her tone serious.
"I know, Aisha. But I have you to keep me grounded," Yuvraj replied, giving her a reassuring smile.
Aisha looked up, her expression softening. "I won't let her hurt you again, Yuvraj. Tum meri zindagi ho."
Yuvraj's heart warmed at her words. "And you're mine, Aisha. Together, we're unstoppable."
Just then, Aisha's phone buzzed with a message. She glanced at it and then showed it to Yuvraj. "It's from Anjali. She wants to meet you again."
Yuvraj frowned. "This time, we record the conversation. We need proof of her intentions."
Aisha nodded. "Agreed. But remember, no matter what she says, stay calm. Don't let her get under your skin."
Yuvraj smirked. "With you by my side, I can handle anything."
They shared a quiet moment, their resolve strengthening. As they prepared for the upcoming confrontation, they knew they had each other to rely on.
That evening, Yuvraj met Anjali at the same café. Aisha stayed nearby, her phone ready to record.
"Yuvraj," Anjali greeted, her voice sugary sweet. "I'm so glad you came."
Yuvraj kept his expression neutral. "What do you want, Anjali?"
Anjali leaned in, her eyes glinting with malice. "I told you, Yuvraj. I want you back. And I'm not going to let anyone, especially Aisha, stand in my way."
Yuvraj's jaw tightened, but he remembered Aisha's advice. "Anjali, this is your last warning. Stay away from me and Aisha."
Anjali's smile turned cold. "We'll see about that."
The meeting ended, and Yuvraj walked away, his heart pounding. He met Aisha outside, who immediately hugged him.
"How did it go?" she asked, looking up at him with concern.
Yuvraj smiled. "We got what we needed. Now, we can show her true colors."
Aisha grinned. "Good. Now, let's go home and plan our next move."
As they walked away together, Yuvraj felt a sense of relief and hope. With Aisha by his side, he knew they could face anything that came their way.
