Chapter 5

“**TRIGGER WARNING****

I looked under the bed and smiled, "I found it!" I yelled and pulled the shoe box out. Picking it up I

walked to Janine who was having a panic attack minutes ago. I smiled and gave it to her, "There you

go" I said and handed her the box. The three bridesmaid came from all different direction and sat

on the bed looking exhausted, "Where was it?" One of the girl asked, "Under the bed" I said and

looked back at Janine as she had her robe on.

"Now get ready, you don't have much time" I told her and everyone started getting her ready. I

slowly took out the beautiful white dress from the closet and helped Janine to get in it. When she

wore it I took a step back and admired my big sister. She really looked beautiful, "You look like an

angel" I said in awe with a smile. She looked back at me with a smile on her face as well, "Thank you

Nora" she said and sat on the chair while the hairdresser did her hair and makeup.

I slowly exited the room and went into my room and took out the gown I am supposed to wear

today. I took a quick shower, as I washed my hair yesterday and it was in the perfect curls I didn't

bother to wash my hair today. Second day hair is the best. I came out of the bathroom and applied

lotion on my body. A very weird thing about me is that I don't use normal lotion or soap or

perfumes like other woman do.. I love baby soap and lotion. And I sometimes smell like

honeysuckles and baby soap, which is kind of great.

I took the pale pink dress and wore it. It had a sweetheart neck like and a lightly off shoulder. The

silhouette of the dress made my dis-proportionate body look.. nice. I sat down on the dresser travel

and quickly did my makeup. I put foundation on my skin and set it with powder, then did a bold

eyeliner and added mascara. I put some blush and bronzer on my face to give it some colour to my

lifeless face. I finished off the look with a pale lipgloss, I sprits some perfume on myself and did my

hair in a half updo and went to my sister room.

The wedding was to take place near a small cliff facing a beautiful river, it didn't have any waterfall

but it was still exquisite. I peeped my head inside the room with a smile, "Are you guys done?" I ask

and come inside the room. There was Mrs Brukes, the bridesmaids and obviously the bride herself. I

smiled looking at Janine, "You look so beautiful Janine" I tell her honestly and walk towards her and

keep my hands on her shoulder. She touches my hand back and smiles at me from the mirror.

I heard a snicker behind me, my eyes rose up to see mother giving me nasty glare, "Look at her, she

is so beautiful, something you'll never be." I spat venomously at me. I pressed my lips together and

reminded myself that it's only about a few hours before I leave this behind. Taking a deep breath

and looked back at her from the mirror, "Obviously I would never be half as beautiful as Janine. She

is an angel” I say.

A knock on the door interrupted us, Thomas came in with a sad smile on his face, "It's time" he said

and we all rushed from there.

I sat among the guest at the back. You thought bitch! No I wasn't a part of the bridal team but they

did have me do all of their work. I just shrugged and did it anyway just to avoid being near any pack

members. I sat there looking longingly at the alter as Janine and her mate confessed their love, my

eyes drifted towards Tyler who was standing behind Justin. Only if.

Maybe it's for the best that I won't have a mate. Maybe I'll fall in love with someone like humans do,

as I read in books. Maybe it will help me to find more about myself. I know I part of me will still long

for my other half but I'll manage.

When the wedding ended and the bride threw the boutique, the reception started. I looked at

everyone with a sad smile, it's time to go. My wolf gave me heat from her body showing her love for

me, fuck mate as long as I have her. I had already kept my money in a bank locker in the human

town which is two hour drive from here. I just had a bag of clothes in my car. I didn't take any

pictures of our family because I didn't have any and anyway I didn't want to take things that

reminded me of them.

I was about to walk away when I heard Tyler calling out my name, I looked back to see him walking

towards me.

"Yeah?" I asked when he came in front of me, he seemed to be in distress.

He released a deep breath and looked around, "I need to talk to you about something. let's go for a

walk" he motioned his hands forward. I was hesitant but then I realized that I am leaving anyway

and I will never see him again and the selfish part of me wanted to spend some time with him.

We walked in the forest in a tense silence, "Are you going to kill me now" I joke making the tension

evaporate. He chuckled, "Yup, here. I am going to kill and burry you" he followed, I gave him a

loopsided smile, "Uuuhhh the big bad alpha is a serial killer" I said the first thing that came into my

mind, he laughed a little and smiled back at me.

"You're so great Nora. I can't even begin to explain how amazing you are" he started looking behind

me, "You're the most humble and kind person I have ever know. I know you hate me for failing you

as a mate.." I wanted to interrupt him but he put his hand up to stop me. I nodded motioning him

to continue, "... I should have been with you but I am not, I am with someone else who is not my

mate. But as I promised, I wouldn't fail as an alpha.." he looked straight into my eyes, "So I have

decided to call the council on the TealRiver pack, all the high post will be taken and the member will

go into the council pack as omegas” that made me froze.

After a couple of seconds later I opened my mouth, "No. Don't do this. I don't want to give them

another reason to hate me. I know they have all wronged me but wronging them back wouldn't

make me any different then them. Anddd.." I contemplated whether I should tell him about leaving

or not, "I'll soon be out of this mess and will be off to my college” I lied effortlessly. I had no plans

on going to college.

His face dropped but I continued to speak, "I don't hate you Tyler. I love you whether or not you

love me like that. And I am heartbroken that you love someone else and didn't give me a chance..

but I am a million times more matured than most, I don't want you because all I want is your

happiness and if your happiness is with that girl then I am happy just like that." His eyes held tears

of regret and love, I took his hands in mine and looked MY mate in the eyes, "You have not failed

me, mate. A mate shows a person how to love and successfully showed me that mate bond is not

enough.. that the power of love is cannot be compared to any other bond." I said honestly meaning

ever single word

"You're the best" he said softly and brought me close to him. He wrapped his hands around my

waist and dipped his head to capture my lips. I closed my eyes relishing the final feel of my mate, a

tear escaped my eyes as I kissed him back with every ounce of love I have for him.

"YOU BASTARD!" A voice broke us apart, we looked at the intruder in horror. It was his woman who

shouted and there was Justin standing there looking at me.

"HOW DARE YOU CHEAT ON ME?? AFTER ALL WE'VE BEEN THROUGH!" She stomped her way

towards us and slapped Tyler.

"Baby it's not what it looks like" he tried to reason and hold her hands but she swatted them away.

"How could you? I thought you loved me" she cried hysterically as if somebody had ripped her

heart out. Seeing her in such a distress I began to speak, "He is right, it's not what it looks like. We'r-

-" I was stopped by a punch in my chest.

I stumbled back and clutched my chest in pain, "You fucking bitch" she yelled and charged at me

with her claws. She slashed my face making me fall on the ground shrieking in pain then kicked my

head, "I should have known you'd go after my man, you pathetic fat bitch!! All you care about is

power" she spat every word while kicking me everywhere.

"LUCY!!! STOP FUCKING HITTING HER DAMNIT!!" Tyler yelled and pulled her away from me. I sat up

crying blood, my entire body started to pain, my stomach felt like it was on fire. I groaned in pain as

someone yanked me by my hair, "You power hungry slut!" Justin spat and punched my guts making

me throw blood.

"STEP THE FUCK AWAY FROM HER, BETA" Tyler roared at Justin making him stumble back because

of his alpha command. I rolled back on the ground in pain, the painful fire in my stomach made me

scream my lungs out. I felt soothing arms picking me up, "Nora.. Nora!!" Tyler's voice rang as his

touch soothed the pain somewhat.

"It hurts" I whimpered as he pulled me on his lap.

Third person's POV

"What is going on here??" Gilbert's asked when he can along with his bride and her family when he

heard the commotion and Justin mind-linked him to bring the Brukes with him.

"Your slut of a sister was making out with my mate!!" Lucy cried point out to Nora who and crying in

Tyler's lap clutching her stomach.

Janine looked like she was about to murder someone.. someone being Nora.

"YOU GOOD FOR NOTHING WHORE!!" Janine yelled and stomped her way towards Nora and

stabbed her heels in her stomach. When she pulled out, a big gush of blood tainted her white gown

which came out of the heel wound.

Nora twisted in pain and yelled out in misery begging for the pain to stop.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?? IS THIS HOW YOU TREAT YOU SISTER!" Tyler yelled in hatred

picking up his mate in his arms who was crying in pain, shielding her away from these monsters.

"DON'T YOU YELL AT MY MATE IN MY TERRITORY!" Gilbert snarled at Tyler coming infront of his

mate.

"You're a petty excuse of an alpha! Instead of protecting your packmates you're becoming their

nightmare” Tyler spat as he felt Nora's emotion rush to him.

Thomas with a scowl on his face came in front of Tyler and ripped Nora away from him, "Don't come

near this abomination, she'll ruin you too" he said and threw Nora on the ground.

Nora's back broke as his brother ruthlessly threw her on the hard ground. She cried for all the

suffering they all are putting her through for something she never did. She kept on repeating

“please’ in her head. The fire of pain had engulfed every inch of her bone.

Lucy slapped Tyler once again, her eyes wet with tears but had murder in her mind, "You are really

taking side of a hoe?? He is your friend, or did you forget about that when you were inside that

loose cunt?” She spat on him. It took every ounce of control in Tyler to not hit the love of his life,

"SHE IS MY FUCKING MATE!" Tyler yelled out making everyone freeze in shock.

"I THINK I MADE A MISTAKE LEAVING MY BEAUTIFUL MATE FOR A BITCH LIKE YOU!" Tyler spat

venomously shaking in rage, Lucy looked as if she'd have died, brought back to life only to be

tortured. A sob broke through her as she ran away, anger, jealousy, rage and betrayal had gripped

her. But that was nothing compared to the little lady who was on the verge of dying.

Nora was fading in and out of consciousness as her wolf did everything to heal her, her wolf kept on

whining and whimpering not wanting to lose her human. The wolf took all the pain from Nora

making her finally able to breath after 20 minutes of struggle.

Tyler was torn whether to run after Lucy or keep Nora. He decided to the former and ran after him,

not knowing how much he'll regret this decision for the rest of his life.

The Brukes, Justin and Gilbert looked at Nora in disgust, "I say we finish this here!" Thomas spat with

hate, everyone hummed in agreement. Nora looked up at her tantalisers with her big grey eyes and

muttered one word, "Please" she whispered. But that all went in vain as the group broke all their

rage once and for all.

Her mother grabbed her arms and twisted in an abnormal direction making the bone crack and

break out of her skin, Nora roared in pain and started crying again. Her father kept on punching her

innocent face untill it turned purple and was swollen. He mother broke all her limbs in every way

possible. Nora cried only thinking what had she ever done to deserve this. Her bone cracked in all

abnormal directions, when her parents were done with her she was beaten into pulp with her limbs

coming out of her flesh.

Her blood had pooled beneath her, she was holding onto the last couple of breaths. Her entire

body was numb, she couldn't one her eyes as it was swollen, she heard shuffling in front and behind

her. She through that her suffering was over, oh how wrong she was.

Both Justin and Gilbert opened their pants and picked Nora up with one in front and behind her,

"You wanted an alpha dick, here have it" Gilbert growled and forced his length in her making her

shout with the last couple of breaths that was left in her. Justin push himself in her, Nora was on the

verge of death. Not only was she had been physically and mentally broken but now her molester

became her rapist along with her sister's husband.

Nora's sister laughed looking at her in such a catastrophy. Thomas's mate, Alice looked at Nora in

disgust, "Just throw her off the cliff" she spat and both the alpha and beta came inside the dying

girl.

Nora had nothing left..not anymore. There is no life for her here, she was broken, humiliated, sore

and numb inside out. Nothing can fix her now. She had nothing... No one.

Thomas stood above Nora and jabbed his foot in her wound and broke the final bone that was left

unbroken in her. A small gasp left her mouth as life left her body. Her heart stopped beating and

she went limp on the cold ground pooled in her own blood.

Alice dragged Nora's dead body by her hair and flung it off the cliff. The entire family say the body

roll off the cliff, wood and rocks piercing her once warm soft skin, then finally dropping into the

salty lake, her blood had turned the white water, red.

"It's time to celebrate! She is finally dead!" Nora's mother screeched with Glee making everyone

laugh.

That day the pack did not only celebrate their alpha's wedding but also death of a burden
