Chapter 316
President’s Twins: Buy One, Get One Free
In Green Lemonâs studio, Dante was still busy designing. He had always been a night person. His apprentice Anna, however, already exhausted from her day job, was yawning all the time.
Footsteps coming from outside the studio broke the silence of the night.
âWho is it?â
Scowling, Dante took a glance at the door. Anna was shocked by his sudden question, rubbing her eyes, she was now less sleepy.
âMiss Downey.â She espied Hayden for n instant.
Hayden nodded as she entered the studio. The lights shed on her, rinsing the darkness obscuring her image off her.
She hadnât gone home ever since she left the party because sheâs certain that Joseph would definitely be there. And she couldnât talk to him about Pola yet.
She seated herself on the couch while Anna poured her a cup of tea.
âJust came back from the party?â Dante broke off his designing and came sitting down across from Hayden.
Faintly, Hayden nodded an agreement.
âWhy are you so down?â
Dante studied her, frowning. âDid someone annoy you?â
âSort of.â
Hayden took a sip of the tea that Anna served her. Freshened, she asked Dante.
âWhat the hell is wrong with men, huh? A conniving bitch can always get you with just a little trick.â
âCome on, you are being biased.â Dante understood her insinuation instantly. âI canât speak for others. But Joseph? Handsome and rich, heâs got girl coming on to him like iron being attracted by magnet. Even so, Iâve never seen him relent for any girl.â
Frowning, Hayden refuted. âNever? Heâs as submissive as a puppet now.â
He believed whatever Pola said. How dumb is that?
âImpossible.â Dante waved his hand. âJoseph is like a giant iceberg that takes forever to melt. I have never seen him smile to any girl except for you.â
âWhy are you defending him?â Hayden snapped, rose to her feet. âCanât I just find some place for a moment of peace?â
âIâm just being realistic...â
Dante tried to explain and didnât notice that Anna was making eyes to him.
Hayden left the studio before he finished.
Sheâd rather take a nap in a hotel than to listen to Danteâs hogwash.
âDid I do something wrong?â scratching his head, Dante was puzzled.
Anna put the tea before him. âYou didnât. But women donât need your rational analysis when theyâre complaining to you?â
âThen what do you need.â
Anna gave him a glance.
âNeed you to be on her side and cuss whoever upset her unconditionally.â
That night, Hayden felt like sheâs a ghost.
She couldnât go home. She went to her company for some consolation but Dante only put oil on the fire. She wandered in the street purposelessly;
the freezing cold chilled her to the bone. The merriness and festiveness of Christmas in the air were a contrast to her mood.
âHayden?â
A similar voice came behind her.
She paused a moment, and then whirled to see a flaky who covered his head with mask, scarf, hat, sunglasses. By the sweat suit heâs wearing, Hayden supposed heâs jogging.
She wouldnât have recognized Lyon but for his distinctive voice.
âItâs really you?â
Lyon stepped forward, pulled his disguise down a little bit. âHayden, what are you doing out here in such a raw winter night?â
Hayden pause a second. âA stroll after dinner. What about you?â
âIâm jogging.â He smiled at her. âThe hotel gym was too crowded. And I want to breath in some fresh air.â
Itâs nothing weird that heâs out here for a night jog since his hotel was in the vicinity.
However, Hayden studied him a while and pointed at his protections, asked suspiciously. âFresh air? I doubt that you can even breathe wrapping yourself in all these clothes. Are you trying to smother yourself?â
âI didnât have a choice.â He laughed as he grabbed Haydenâs arm.
âWant a drink?â
I didnât have anywhere go anyway, Hayden thought to herself, it wonât do any bad just to kill some time. âCool.â
There was a milk tea store nearby. The waitress stared at Lyon for a long while when they were in a queue.
Hayden thought the waitress recognize Lyon but wasnât so certain because of the clothes Lyon covered himself.
âTakeout or dine-in?â
âDine-in.â
Lyon said curly.
The waitress flushed when she passed Lyon the cups, she whispered. âAre you Lyon?â
âIâm not.â
Lyon shook his head.
âYou are Lyon!â the waitress insisted, âCould you sign me an autograph?â
Hayden and Lyon wouldnât get out of here if he signed the autograph.
In haste, Hayden dragged Lyon behind her, smiling. âYou think he sounds like Lyon too, donât you? But he is not Lyon, sorry. Heâs just my brother, an accident left some scars on his face.â
They turned to left the store soon as Hayden finished.

Hey, My Twins Babies The waitress had to be a crazy fan of Lyonâs, she yelled out. âHeâs Lyon!â
it was weekend and the street was full of people. The waitressâs yelling immediately drew a lot of attention.
Apparently, itâs not the first time Lyon got recognized by fans. He grabbed Haydenâs hand, âRun!â
He dashed out into the streets dragging Hayden.
The milk tea shop was a long distance behind them when Hayden realized.
Somebody mightâve leaked information about where Lyon lived, tons of fans had been lurking in the vicinity. And now theyâre all latched onto him.
After running across several blocks, they still couldnât get rid of the fans.
Exhausted, Hayden dragged Lyon into a shop in haste.
âHayden.â
âShhh...â
Hayden muffled his mouth while theyâre reclining against the wall. She didnât withdraw her hands when the fans had long past them.
âI need to rest a moment.â she bent, her hands on knees, gasping.
Lyon still kept silent, Hayden was confused. She raised her head to see if something was wrong, but her face changed suddenly when she saw the sex toys on the shelf.
What are the odds? The store she entered to escape from the craze of fans was a sex product store!
âWhat are you looking for?â
The ownerâs voice came from the counter.
