Chapter 4

Greyson’s POV

My wolf is howling for me to take her, to mark her and to mate with her, to impregnate her with our pup. I am fighting him the best that I can, I have always had control over my wolf, but I have never had to fight him this hard before to keep him at bay. I wait for her response and she finally says “I will see you later, alpha, thank you” and she stands up to leave, but not before giving me another shy smile and blush, she is standing at the door with her back to me and she quickly turns around and says “I really want to thank you for your kindness in allowing me to visit the last place my parents were alive, it means so much to me, Greyson” I nod at her and she walks to me and leans forward and kisses my cheek. I close my eyes and fight my wolf again as he growls ’take her, take her now, she wants you too, she is coming to you′ I hold him back as she turns and leaves my office. I expel my held breath as soon as the door closes, she giggles right outside of the door. Oh Autumn, what the sound of your giggle does to me.

My wolf urges me to go after her, but I fight him back and mind link my guards to keep an eye on her and watch where she is going and to keep me abreast and to keep their distance and then I mind link an alpha order to all the unmated male members of the pack that Autumn is off limits. I don’t want any of these randy dogs sniffing my girl out. My guards tell me she is heading to the tree line, she is heading for a run, maybe I will join her, I let my beta know I am going for a run and he asks if he is to come with and I tell him alone. I sniff her out and head out to the tree line where I picked up her scent, I see the dress she was wearing tucked away neatly in one of the many cubby holes we had installed for such a thing, some of the pack mom’s suggested them along with shifting stalls to protect their female pups privacy, we agreed to the clothing cubbies, but not the shifting stalls, at least not yet, my father was adamant that we could use trees as cover as what has been what nature designed, but these new mom’s are adamant about giving privacy especially for the female pups. It is considered tabled buisness at the time, but I may have an idea that would work. I want to make sure I am able to pull it off before getting anyone’s hopes up.

I strip and put my clothes in with hers and shift. I catch her scent and follow it to where it leads, ’our mate is headed to the waterfalls’ my wolf observes, as I run her scent gets stronger so I back off a bit so maybe she won’t notice my scent, but learning that she could weed my scent out before she ever got her wolf makes me take note that no matter how far back I stay she will still notice my presence, especially while she is in her wolf form. I get to the edge of the waterfall and make my way around and I see her, a pure black wolf mid air flying off of the cliff of the waterfall, she is so gracious and then half way down she shifts into her human form and flips in the air as if she was an Olympic diver and she barely makes a splash as she gracefully breaks the water’s surface. She is so beautiful. The sun shines down on her naked form as she swims to the smaller falls and stands underneath as if taking a shower. Her back is turned to me, I think she knows I am watching her.

I feel like a pervert, but she is so gorgeously beautiful that I can’t turn away. She mind links me ‘like what you see, Alpha Grey?’ I laugh at her teasing me, she looks over her shoulder in my direction. I respond ‘don’t mind me, I am just here to keep you safe’ at this point there is no reason in hiding so I come out of the shelter of the trees and lay down on a rock, she keeps her back to me and runs her hands through her hair enjoying the cool clear water, I want so badly to join her, as the water looks refreshing and inviting and although it’s not incredibly hot here in Oregon, my fur makes me a lot hotter than I would like to be right now, of course since I found my mate a fire has been raging through me; it’s a burn that she can only satisfy, and I assume she is burning too and that is why she is out here. My wolf is wanting to take her, but even in my wolf form I hold back. I don’t want to scare her. ‘Alpha, you want to join me?’

*splash*

Don’t have to ask me twice, I stay in my wolf form and swim my way closer to her. I dip down into the water and shift and come up beside her in my human form. “You know, as my mate, you don’t have to call me Alpha or sir” she looks over her shoulder at me and asks “do you prefer Greyson or Grey?” I haven’t really thought about it. I move in closer to her and say “whichever you like, princess” she smiles shyly at my term of endearment, she then asks “Grey, do you think I can be Luna? I never expected that I of all people would be a Luna.” I answer as honest as I can “well, it’s not up to me to make that call, the moon goddess seems to believe you can do it, so who am I to question that?” She bites her lip and says “I had given up on finding my mate, so if you don’t want me, then I completely understand” she is so insecure, I make my way closer to her and she moves under the fall to the cave underneath to shield her nakedness from me, I follow her and in the shadows of the cave and with the water falling it is like a moving curtain shielding us from the outside world. We are isolated and hidden. I can barely see the curve of her breasts, as clear as the water may be, inside this cave it is just too dark to see any details, I make my way closer to her and hold out my hands and tell her “give me your hands” she reaches up and mirrors me and I interlace our fingers and bring our palms together and then pull her to me closing the difference. I whisper in her ear “Kitten, don’t ever say anything like that again, if I were going to reject you, I would have done so back in my office.” She looks down and I bring her face up to look at me, I then plant a kiss on her lips, lightly sucking on her bottom lip and she wraps her hands around my neck, moaning and my wolf is wanting me to mark her now. I resist and pull away and she slowly opens her eyes and she is too beautiful that I have to close my eyes to keep from giving in to my instincts and take her. I move back from her and open my eyes again.

Against my natrual urges I tell her “Autumn, we can take our time if you want to, and get reacquainted if that would help you be more comfortable, I can tell you are really shy and as much as the wolf in you wants to be with me, your human side is saying to take it slow” she nods and says “yes, I would like to get reacquainted, thank you for being patient with me.”

I then say “another thing, I was going to offer you a job to help me with the pack buisness, our pack has expanded and I figure with your degree you would be a great asset to the pack, but that means you would be working with me daily. It might become difficult to... um... be that close with our wolves yelling at us to mate, but if you think you can handle it and push me away if I get too close then the job is yours.” She looks at me and says “John said you had a position for me if I wanted” she bites her bottom lip again and then asks “Can I think about it and give you an answer tomorrow?” I look at her and smile and say “of course” I then ask her “are you hungry?” She then gasps and says “oh I forgot, John is cooking burgers tonight for me as a welcome home get together, were you coming?” I nod and tell her “yes, it is getting close to time to be there if you want to start heading back.” She then gives me a mischievous grin and says “race you to the tree line” and as soon as she said it she jumps up and dives into the water giving me the perfect view of her voluptuous behind. She is so perfect. The moon goddess seems to know what she is doing because every woman I have been with had physical similarities to that of my mate, I have been attracted to her before I knew she was meant to be with me. I dive as well and can see her swimming in front of me, giving me a perfect view of her lithe body. Once she reaches shore she shifts to her wolf and she is off in a sprint, I catch up with her quickly and I am surprised by her speed and strength, she can jump logs that most she-wolfs would go under, female wolves are naturally smaller than males and they usually don’t have the strength of the males and it makes jumping high and long difficult for them, although Autumn is small she has incredible strength and stamina.

She reaches the tree line and looks up to the box that her clothes are stored in, I shift back to my human form and do not hide my nakedness from her, I swear I have never seen a wolf blush before, but today it happened, I chuckle a little at her and reach into the box for her dress, I go over to her, and bend down looking into her beautiful wolf eyes that hold the same hazel eyes as her human form and I kiss her muzzle and rub my hands across her body, she whimpers liking my touch, I then command her to shift and she whimpers and mind links me ’may I turn around? I am not quite ready to be completely exposed to you′ I then smile at her and say “yes, Kitten, you may” she then turns around and shifts and her back is to me once again, I take in the details of the tattoo on her hip I didn’t notice before, two wolf prints with her parents names scripted across them. Before I can stop myself I reach out and touch the tattoo, she gasps at my touch and I apologize for touching her. “Uh, no, um Grey, please don’t apologize I just wasn’t expecting the tingle” she pulls her dress over her head and she turns and grabs her panties, lacy and pretty sexy even though they are pink, she blushes when she sees me gawking at her, I notice that I am licking my lips and I am growling low wanting to touch her again. She smiles shyly at me as she steps into her pretty little panties and I close my eyes as she slips them up her beautiful smooth and toned legs. I was fighting with my wolf to keep from pulling them back off with my teeth. I am pulling on my clothes as she dresses. After we are dressed, she comes over to me and kisses my cheek while placing her hand on my chest, “thank you for respecting my boundaries” I smile and say “Kitten, it’s the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but I will walk through fire for you” she then just looks into my eyes as if she is truly appreciating what I just said. She then says “I pray you never have to, but I will do the same for you” I can’t stop myself, I grab her around her waist and pull her into me and I immediately put my mouth to hers and I slip my tongue inside her mouth and I can tell she has no experience, but it doesn’t take her long to catch on how to kiss me back. I allow my hands to roam down her body to her behind.

I then get my wolf under control and pull away from her yet again. “Kitten, let’s go eat some dinner so we can at least satisfy one hunger” I take her hand in mine and walk with her back to my house and I open the garage and ask her if she would like to ride on my motorcycle with me, she grins and says yes, she climbs on behind me and wraps her arms around my waist and lays her head against my back and I couldn’t be happier. I know , that I am already in love with my mate, I think I have always loved her and just didn’t realize it. I did make her my obsession when she was orphaned always lurking in the background trying to keep her safe. Yes, I know that even without the mating pull from the moon goddess, I would still be in love with her.
