Her Stain
The Chauhan's mansion was deadly silent after Siya left. Paravati finally burst out angrily, "Woh chhote Ghar ki ladki--"
"Bas, Maa." She was cut off by Yuvaraaj. Her body freezing, at the blankness in his voice. Her voice came out as a whisper, "Yuvi?"
Yuvaraaj looked up, and Parvati flinched at the endless pain in her son's eyes. Yuvaraj's jaw clenched, an expression she had seen again, after 5 years.
The eyes that seemed absolutely shattered, but couldn't even find their own voices. How could it, when the person with whom he was at war was his own heart.
The mother that he had positioned in his heard, her name engraved so deep that saying a single hurtful word was like ripping himself open, the crown that he had worn on his head. He could've lost the kingdom, the heritage yet it wouldn't have hurt him, for the one who truly made him the King was his mother. His Raani Ma, the woman for whom he had matured all too early to please, the woman for whom he had never let himself rest to provide only the best.
How could he find the voices to battle his own heart? His own flesh and blood?
It was as if by hurting Siya, Raani Paravati Rajveer Singh Chauhan had ripped open her own son, crushed his heard and destroyed his very soul. Yuvaraj, for a second couldn't even formulate words.
All these years, Yuvaraaj could hold seminars at the young age of 15, could lead a company through bankruptcy and reach the top spot of business industry, learn to be a king and burden all the problems on his shoulder. He could go through all the pain and stand alone, still strong.
He had learnt to do everything, everything but speaking of his pain. Rana Yuvaraj Singh Chauhan could speak about everything, his love for his people, his will and determination in the meeting room, but this lonely king couldn't speak of his majesty's pain.
He could win the world single handedly, but alas lost at the hands of his own people. He swallowed, before his voice spoke hoarsely, "Jaan hai woh meri," Paravati's eyes teared up in an instant, aching for her son, he continued, "Unhe chhot pohochate hue, aapne kabhi yeh nahi socha ki, aap hum pe bhi waar kar rahi hai?"
He blinked his eyes, biting his cheeks. He shook his head a little ironic smile on his lips, "Kya bachane ki koshish kar rahi thi aap, Maa Sa? Konsa ruaab, konsi izzat bachali aapne do begunah logo ko chot pohochake?"
Paravati finally cried, "She was hurting you, beta!"
Yuvaraj laughed, hollow and blank, shaking his head. A breathy chuckle left him, his hands clenching he spoke, "No, Maa Sa. No...," he discreetly wiped the corner of his eyes, "No. She didn't hurt me." His eyes when found his Maa Sa's there was a fire which stabbed at Paravati's heart. "You did."
He took a step forward, "Hurting her that way, you hurt me."
Paravati started crying, "Beta, she wouldn't say yes to the wedding! How could I not give you your only desire? Its been years since you even smiled, how could I take away that smile from you?!"
He bit out, "I never asked for anything to you, Maa Sa." He looked at his mother, bitterly, "Nothing but Siya."
He sighed, "But Maa Sa, she isn't an object. Zinda hain woh, koi cheez nahi jisse aap jhagad kar, chhot pohocha kar haasil karle."
"She's somebody who deserves the whole world's love, every happiness all at her feet but this?"
He shook his head, he whispered, "Not this. This pain, hurt and guilt. She didn't deserve any of this." He clenched his jaw. He straightened up, walking away.
"Maa Sa, send over people to apologise." Avyaan spoke up, "Bhai--"
"Avyaan. Contact the event manager, Cancel the wedding."
A gasp left Paravati, "Yuvaraj, what--"
Yuvaraj stopped, turning a quiet bubbling lava in his eyes, an anger he couldn't take out. He spoke calmly, "Hamare liye, hamari izzat ke liye unhe chhot pohochayi thi na Maa Sa? Aisi izzat, Hume manzoor nahi."
He didn't say, that he wouldn't dare marry her after shattering her to pieces. After this, there was no way she would want to even look at his face. How could he suffocate her to a life of anguish and pain?
With this, she wouldn't even voice out her fears, her grievances to him. She would fear he would harm her family, for every wrong word she uttered. How could he let her suffer this?
He wouldn't even be able to protect her, when it's him whom she would consider the biggest monster. He indeed was a monster.
How could he have not stopped this from happening? A slack of his, and it lead him to lose her so cruelly. He hated the universe for letting her be hurt, hated himself for not stopping.
What King was he, if he couldn't protect his own Queen? Yuvaraj Singh Chauhan had done everything he ever did with dignity, his love was no different, yet every single ounce of self esteem his own mother had destroyed by bringing tears in Siya Sharma's eyes.
"Bhai Sa!" Yuvaraj stopped, Avyaan stormed up to him, with a determined face "Yeh kya kar rahe ho aap? Bhabhi Sa toh Dil hai aapki, unhe kaise chhod sakte hain aap?!"
Yuvaraj looked away, "Because she deserves better." Avyaan looked at him in disbelief, "Bhai Sa, Aapse behtar?" He held his shoulders, stopping him from walking away. "Bhagwan bhi zameen par aajaye, toh bhi aapse behetar nahi ban sakte Bhai Sa!" He grit his teeth, "Itna kamzor kabse ho Gaya aapka Ishq itne aasani se peeche hat jaye, Bhai Sa?"
Yuvaraj shook his head bitterly. "Avyaan, Kya faiyda us Ishq ka, jab unhe woh sirf dard hi de?" He looked in Avyaan's eyes and his heart broke seeing the hopeless gaze, he looked away. "Darrengi woh hamse, Avyaan."
Avyaan stared at him, "Darrengi, woh." Yuvaraj's eyes flashed with pain, "Kuch bhi hoga toh...," his voice turning hoarse, he cleared his throat. "Toh woh kuch nahi bolengi, chup chap sab seh lengi is Darr mai ki hum gusse Mai unke parivar ko kuch na karde."
He looked away to control his emotions which made Avyaan clench his jaw. "Aur aapka kya, Bhai Sa?"
Yuvaraj chuckled, shaking his head, he ruffled Avyaan's hair affectionately. "Humara kya, Avyaan? Hum toh jaise the, waise reh lenge. Par unki aankhon Mai aasu nahi dekh payenge."
Losing his heart, his life could be acceptable but watching her tears held the power to bring this king to his knees. To destroy him.
Avyaan grit his teeth, "Bas bhi karein Bhai Sa, itna bhi apna dard na chhupa le, ki uske kaaran aapke andar dard ke alwa kuch bache hi na!" He held his brother's hand, tightly, "Bhai Sa, har baar is tarah shaant na reh jaaye, ki aapki khamoshi mai hi ghut ghut ke Jaan nikal jaaye aapki."
Yuvaraj chuckled, shaking his head softly, "Jaan toh hamari, paas hi nahi hamare, Avyaan."
Avyaan clenched his jaw, "Bhai, fir nahi"
Fir is tarah na rahe, bhai Sa...

"Bhai Sa! Bhai Sa, please nahi! Please Hume muaaf karde Bhai!" An 18 year old girl had cried, hugging Yuvaraj's legs.
A cry that would remain engraved in Yuvaraj's head. A cry that was too silent for him to hear in the chaos of his anger. "Bhai, galti toh sabse hoti hai na, bhai...! Please, bhai!"
"Aradhna! Chhodiye hame."
Blood scattered everyday, "Hukum, Hukum she is crying, please! Please chhodiye mujhe."
"Hukum woh roh rahi--"
A gun shot rang, cutting off the man half sentence. "ADITYA--"
And he was sure then, his sister would hate him forever.

Yaar leave your feedbacks. Whom do you find wrong in this situation, Siya or Yuvaraj? Siya didn't look deeply and just accused him, or Yuvaraj who didn't clear the misunderstanding?
