chapter 60- explaining why fire

Jayden p.o.v.

As angry as I am and do not like this Benjamin I can not lie I am relieved that he is not wanting this just as much as we are not. Not that it would make any difference because he still would not be marrying her anyways. I would make sure of that.

He actually does not seem like a bad guy. I just hate that his mother thinks he will be marrying my girl when he will in fact not be. Yet some how I can not help but narrow my eyes at him if he slightly looks at my girl. Maybe I am a little jealous. Just a little. Or a lot.

I can see that his girlfriend and him really do love each other. I can see his girl who we now know the same as Nicole is shy.

I looked at Sienna and sighed. It annoyed me a little when she told me to  calm down as he spoke but I could not help it. I'm not mad at her though cause I understand she wants this as peaceful as she can.

" look I understand Beta Jayden that you are upset. I would be as well of this was nicole but I can promise you I have no intentions off marrying your mate, the only person I ever want to marry is my nicole. I promise to help in anyways that I can to destroy this last contract." Benjamin spoke.

I noticed how Nicole blushed and a small smile appeared on her face as he said about marrying her. I can not help but feel sorry for her though. I would not like to be in her shoes. Saying that in some ways I am.

"Do you have anything in mind to get this one destroyed?" I asked.

"Well I am hoping the rumours are a lie and that your mother is still alive. Maybe we could persuade her to destroy it." Benjamin said with hope.

I let out a chuckle as did everyone in the room.

"No way my mom would have ever just happily destroyed it. But also the rumours are true she is gone." Sienna said more softly at the end.

Benjamin nodded in understanding.

"Then we make your mom destroy it." I said with a shrug.

"How?" Benjamin asked warily and I understand why he is wary. If I had it my way I would just kill her and that's just for the thought of her thinking she can let Benjamin marry my mate. Never mind everything on top of that.

"What made you come up with the plan off her burning her own contract." My mom asked.

"I didn't. Nicole did." Benjamin said looking proud.

"Nice." My auntie Aria said smiling making me chuckle.

I think we are all surprised that it was Nicole with the idea. We a looked at Nicole who practically hid behind Benjamin.

"Crazily shy but good thinking. You do not need to be shy sweetheart you might need to talk to us more and give us some ideas." My mom said softly.

Slowly she came from behind Benjamin but he wrapped her hand around her waist knowing how nervous she is.

"She has never met werewolves before. Apart from once and it was a bad experience for her." Benjamin said coldly towards the end of his words.

I nodded in understanding.

" I'm sorry you have had bad experience with some of our kind sweetheart but we are not all like that. I promise you. Will you be alright telling us how you came up with the plan."  My auntie Aria asked.

She looked at us a while longer before looking at Benjamin. He nodded her head before she finally began to speak.

"Benjamin told me about her wanting to set fire to her house for insurance scam. He had found out about 2 days before that, there was an contract for him and Sienna. He searched it up and found information as well as I did. When we found out about the fire and how to get rid of a contract i put 2 and 2 together and just said for us to do that. We did not know if it was even going to work." Nicole said quietly and softly.

"If she destroys it no matter where it is then it will be gone. No matter what or where." Uncle Aiden said.

Nicole nodded her head.

"You do realise that if she gets hold of this contract we will be setting war on you. That will be this coven as well as my pack and Hunters pack." Uncle caden said coldly.

"And my grandmothers coven." Sarah said.

"I understand but I hope it does not come to that. Most my coven can not stand her. I do not want them getting hurt because of her actions." Benjamin said.

I nodded my head.

"Why don't you try and take over your coven now?" I asked.

"I would need most off my coven to accept myself and Nicole as the leaders together. I don't know if most will. I know a lot are wanting me to take over but I do not know how many. If there is not enough then I will end up getting killed or kicked out the coven. Then I have no way of helping my coven out." He said with a sigh.

"I already asked him to try and get them on his side so he can take over and kick his mother out but he won't and I understand why." Nicole said.

"What do you think Nicole? Do you think most of them will want him to take over?" I asked.

"Yes." She replied instantly.

"Why don't you do it sneakly? If you get the ones you know will instantly want you to take over get them to sign the paper and there reasons why. Once you get more then half you need to send it to the witches council and instantly they will look into it. Hopefully by then we get rid of the contract." Sienna said.
