chapter 4- your awake

Sienna p.o.v.

Everything happened to fast. One minute I was in the office with everyone telling them we need a plan as soon as possible and the next I was out on field with everyone fighting my mom.

It hurts me that my mom is like this. I truly wish she could have been s really good mom to me and to everyone else. I wont lie and say it never hurt knowing my mom was going to be punished as I knew she would be for her crimes but at the same time I felt relief knowing she will no longer be able to hurt anyone else including me.

The last thing however I remember is my mom blasting sarah but I got in the way making me fly through the air and me smashing right into a tree. I could see the blurry outline of a lot of people before I could see nothing but darkness.

Waking up...

I groaned feeling light shine through my eyes as I started to open them. My head was pounding so bad making me let out another groan.

"Your awake." I heard a husky voice say in what seemed like relief.

Hesistantly because of the light I looked over to my left and noticed jayden who is supposedly my mate sitting staring at me.

I nodded my head but then winced from the kain that shot through. I went to sit up making him pounce out his chair and ease me back down.

"Don't move to fast. Doc is on her way." Jayden said worriedly making me frown in confusion.

All of a sudden my eyes widened.

"Sarah! Oh my is she okay?" I asked panicked making jayden grab my hand making me suprisingly relax more or less straight away. I could feel what felt like little electrical jolts where he touched me almost making me jump.

"Sarah is fine. Do not worry." He said softly.

Before I could say anything else "doc" walked in the room. Once her eyes set on me she smiled softly. When they set on jayden she looked a little wary but still smiled politly.

"Hello sienna. My name is doc  and I am here to help you. Can you tell me if you are in pain anywhere?" She asked softly.

I smiled in hello before nodding and yet again wincing.

"My head." I grumbled rubbing my head.

She smiled a sad smile before nodding and speaking.

"Yes that will probably hurt for next hour or so and then should eventually go away. Do you remember anything that happened ?" She asked.

I nodded my head and avoided eye contact more so because I am ashamed of what my own mother did. I'm not only ashamed but embarrassed.

She cleared her throat realising she will only get a nod out of me.

"Well that is a good sign. No sign of concussion which is a relief. You will most likely feel tired for the next couple of days but you will be fine. If you have any concerns or questions you may ask or shout ne or come back here." Doc said softly

I thanked her before she walked out leaving me on my own with jayden who had yet to say a word.

I decided to break the award silence so I spoke.

"W- who brought me here" I asked although I had a feeling it was him.

"Me." He said clearing his throat awkwardly.

I looked at him and smiled softly.

"Thank you." I said softly.

He looked at me for a short while before nodding.

Not long after the door opened slowly and in walked Sarah and Hunter. Hunter I could not detect any sort if emotion from him but sarah had a soft smile on her face with flowers in her hands.

"Hey. How are you feeling?" Sarah asked softly.

"I'm feeling okay thank you." I said softly.

"Her head hurts." I heard jayden blurt out from side of me making my head snap to him.

I bit my lip not really knowing what to say to that.

"Do we need to get dic?" Sarah asked concerned.

I shook my head in no.

"She ha just been. I will be okay it shoukd go away soon. She just said I will most likely be exhausted for next few days." I said softly.

She nodded her head and looked at Hunter. I watched as her eyes went all glazy as did hunters. I knew it meant they were mindlinking each other.

Before I even met this pack I always was fascinated in werewolves. I know my mom hated them but I was always fascinated by them so I learnt a lot about them. I never expected to be mates with one but here I am.

"Jayden why don't we go and get a coffee." Hunter said making jayden narrow his eyes at him.

"No." Jayden said with a frown looking at me.

"Please jayden. I think me and sienna could really do with a coffee." Sarah pleaded.

"Sienna will be fine. She will be with sarah and we have warriors stationed outside the door." Hunter said making me look at him confused.

Does he think jayden is worried about me? I thought to myself.

However all jayden did was stare at me. I looked away shyly and my eyes happened to land on sarah who looked at me with pleading eyes as if to say go along with it.

"I could really do with a coffee. Of course if you do not mind." I said shyly looking at him.

He nodded his head and got up and walked out the room with Hunter with out another word. I'm not fully sure what I was expecting him to do like kiss my head or even smile at me but for whatever reason it hurt a little.

"Thank you." I heard sarah say after the door shut and before I could get lost in my own thoughts.

I looked at her confused.

"For what?" I asked.

"Saving me and helping us. " she said.
