"Hey, baby," I sigh.

"Tired?" he kisses my forehead and embraces me.

"Yes, but no. I just want to relax."

"Go ahead and chat with them and I'll finish these dishes."

"I'd rather watch you clean," I move to the other side of the counter and sit on a stool. "Do you know how long Luci will be gone?"

"Yeah, for two and a half months and he can't enter America at all until he's completely done with his assignment."

I gasp, covering my mouth. "I would be pissed too."

"Yeah, but it's his job, Elara."

"Yeah, ok. Just don't ever try to use that excuse on me," I look him up and down.

"I know better than that, love."

"Do you have any trips coming up by the way?"

"Yes, I do. It's in one month."

"For how long?" I question.

"About 3 weeks." Three weeks!? Is he dumb?

"You and Luci are funny," I giggle sarcastically as I stand up. "We'll talk later," I tell him as I leave to go to the living room.

"Elara," he calls my name.

"Yes, Seb?"

"Meet me in our bedroom."

I nod my head and give him a small smile because I know he doesn't want to see me upset. I head up to our room while everyone else is chatting and after five minutes he strolls in.

He comes over to the bed where I'm sitting and places a kiss on my lips. "Later is now, so let's talk."

"You're not leaving me for three weeks," I say, folding my arms.

He smirks, "Why not?"

"Baby, now is not the time," I bite my lips innocently. "I refuse to live a month without you."

"How do you think I feel, Elara?" he sighs.  "You know I want to be near you 24/7. I'll miss you more than ever. "

"Oh, I know you will," I grin. "Will you be able to call me?"

"Yeah, I will probably get about 4-6 hours of sleep per day, and I'm going to use about an hour of that to talk to you."

"Stop, baby," I pout. "I hate that we have to chat about this. I seriously don't want you to leave."

"I'll try to visit."

"If it's not safe for you then you're not," I tell him softly. Honestly, just thinking about it makes me want to cry. Even as his fiancé it doesn't get easier.

"We will finish this chat another time because I have a feeling my princess will end up crying tonight and I don't want that," he pulls me into his arms and embraces me.

"You're right, I probably will."

He kisses my cheek and says, "Let's go before they begin to worry."

"Ok, I love you."

"I love you too, baby." he kisses my cheek.

We head to the living room and everyone is looking at us. Dana looks at me innocently and says, "Oopsie."

Leona runs up to me excitedly and hugs me, "You're gonna be my sister!"

"Elara, why didn't you tell me?!" Liza also joins in a hug as she cries. Elvira joins seconds later and I giggle.

I pull away and tell them, "Guys I promise we were going to tell you all tonight. We were going to keep it a secret from everyone but I guess Emilian had to tell his brother for moral support."

"Yeah, he was nervous as hell to ask his woman one simple question," Lucian teases him. Emilian throws a pillow at him and sits on the couch beside me.

"Do you want me to start planning the wedding?" Eliza asks eagerly.

"It's too soon. He just proposed last night."

"Too soon? Woman, I'll marry you tomorrow."

"Oh my gosh," I giggle. "I would say within the next two months but we have nothing planned."

"Don't worry hunny, you could have your dream wedding by next week if you wanted. Just pick a date and it's set," Dana speaks.

"I would honestly love to have it soon, but Emilian's and Lucian's work schedule wouldn't allow that, unfortunately. And I don't wanna rush anything."

Dana sighs, "I admire your patience with these stubborn men I raised."

"It's not easy but I try, Dana, I try."

"Momma, I'm sleepy," Leona whines.

Dana kisses her forehead, "Alright sweetheart, we're going home soon."

"Home?" Emilian questions.

"Yeah, Leona has training and school to catch up on."

"Let me take you guy to the airport then," Emilian stands and takes Leona into his arms.

"Emilian we're fine. Stay with your fiancé."

"Stop, momma I'm carrying y'all. Where's Leona's iPad?"

"I put it in your purse earlier," I say.

"Oh, good. She'd cry if we left that here. She's already attached to that thing."

"I bet she is," I smile and stand to hug her. "Have a safe flight and visit again soon."

"Of course, hunny. I have to ensure my daughter-in-law is being treated well."

"She's fine momma," he says then kisses Leona's forehead. "I'll take her to my car." He exits through the front door and Dana hugs us all goodbye.

"Momma, I'll visit you in 3 weeks," Lucian tells her.

"I'm looking forward to it. I hope Eliza is coming too."

"I would love to," Liza smiles.

"Great, I'll mark my calendar. Let me go now before Emilian gets upset."

"Byeee," we all wave.

"We're gonna get going too," Luci sighs.

"Aww, really?" I frown. Emilian left and now I'm gonna be alone.

"Yeah, we have to chat and I need to spend as much time with him before he leaves," Eliza says as she wraps her arm around him. "We can also go out with Mads tomorrow if you're not busy."

"I'll message the group tomorrow because I'm not sure."

"Okay, well, I'll see you tomorrow. Mwah," she blows a kiss and Lucian hugs me.

"Have a safe flight," I tell him.

"Will do." They grab their things and leave.

Sighing, I get up and begin to clean up.

About ten minutes later, the front door opens again and I hear Emilian shout. "Baby?!"

"Yes, Seb? I respond tiredly.

"Where are they?" he asks as he enters the living room.

"They're having a date night and had to leave. Where's Dana and Leona?"

"Outside waiting. I didn't know they were leaving though."

"Oh, that's fine, Seb. Go."

"I'm not leaving," he tells me and kisses me softly.

I smile and roll my eyes, "What about your mom and sister."

"I'll call my trusted driver, Mr. Rossetti and he'll carry them."

"Oh my gosh, he's that adorable old man that carried me to the airport when I was going to Switzerland."

"Yes, he is. And I'm glad you met him." He pulls out his phone and sends a quick message to his mom and the driver.

"I'm gonna get change while you deal with that, then we can clean up."

"Wait," he says and pulls me back to him. "I don't know if I told you this tonight but you look gorgeous and I love you."

"Yes you have, baby," I giggle and kiss his cheek. "But thank you and I love you too, mwah."

"Wear something sexy," he whispers

"No," I push him away gently. "I want to wear something comfortable."

"Alright. I'll change when I'm done sorting this out," he kisses my forehead and I head upstairs to change.

I change into a soft gray unitard that he bought me a while ago but I never wore it. I'm surprised I never invested in one of these before I met him.

I decide to text Eliza to check up on her but she doesn't answer. Then, I text Mads to see what she's doing and she's watching Netflix with her fiancé. I'm definitely going to do that now.

I head back downstairs to call him to bed but I catch him in the middle of a heated conversation. I am not going to interrupt that.

I walk past him into the kitchen to put up the leftovers. I place them in separate containers and into the fridge.

Only lobster, green beans, and shrimp are left because I might have cooked a little too much. It's fine though because Seb and I can have it for lunch tomorrow.

I thoroughly wipe down the counter and the stove then place the remaining dishes in the dishwasher.

He walks into the kitchen sighing and I look up at him worriedly. "What was that about, lovey?"

"Nothing serious. Is there anything else that needs to be cleaned up down here?"

"Let's try that again. What was that about?"

"Work."

"Do you have to leave or...?"

"No, I don't have to. However, the things that I have to do within the next month are going to put us at risk and we should speed up the moving process." He shakes his head disappointingly. "But if you're not ready we will wait."

I move in front of him and take his hand in mine, "Whatever has to be done will happen. Maybe instead of traveling where you had planned for us to go tomorrow, we can fly over to Canada and go house hunting for a few days."

"That's a good idea but people are watching us everywhere. Baby, that puts you in danger."

"We're still alive aren't we, lovey?" I place my hands on my hip.

"Yes, but we can't just live life like it's all sunshine and rainbows, baby," he sighs frustratingly.

"Emilian, what the hell are you saying? Slow down? Speed up? I'm not keeping up here."

"I think it's safest in New York for now, but we should have a secluded house already bought out and ready to move in."

"Fine. Your work wins. We'll remain in New York then."

"Are you upset with me?" he lets out a breath as I walk away.

"Nope. I'll see you in bed, yeah?"

"Give me about ten minutes."

"K."

"Please don't fall asleep before I get up there."

"No promises," I say from the top of the stairs.

Sure enough, ten minutes later he is lying beside me. "We're going to Vancouver tomorrow," he says softly into my ears.

"Well, I'm looking forward to that."

"I hope so," he presses a kiss on my forehead. "I love you, baby and I want you to be happy."

"I am happy, lovey. I'm very happy," I smile. "I just want you to know that I don't need a new home to be happy."

"But you're getting one," he says sternly as he moves to hover over me.

He's admiring me silently and I ask, "What?"

"You're beautiful."

"Even in the dark?"

"Even in the dark," he chuckles.

"You're silly," I giggle and peck his lips. "Let's get some rest."

He sighs, "You're right. I'm exhausted." He lays back, pulling me into him. "I love you, baby. Goodnight," he mumbles tiredly.

"I love you too."

"So, do you like this one?" he asks, referring to the house we're standing in.

"Yeah, I could genuinely see this being our forever home," I smile at him. "What do you think?"

"It's breathtaking, honestly. I can see us making breakfast together in the kitchen," he points to the empty room across the house, "and I can see the kiddos waiting impatiently for your delicious food."

"Just like you, huh?"

"Maybe," he blushes.

"I think it's a perfect size too. Not huge but definitely not small."

"I don't even want to leave," he says. "I'd sleep here tonight if I could."

I giggle, "Lovey, we don't even know the price yet."

"It doesn't matter," he shrugs.

"Emilian," I speak, folding my arms.

"Six million," he speaks while clearing his throat and I gasp. "It's not that bad Elara."

"Fine," I fold my arms. "Just buy it before I change my mind." I turn around and walk to the car. I love this house but damn is that price high.

A few minutes later, he walks out with the realtor following close behind. They shake hands and part ways.

Entering the car, he is grinning at me. "We just bought our first home, love."

"Already?" I ask surprised.

"Mhm, and I couldn't be happier."

I press my lips against his cheek and just savor this moment. We're parked in front of the very first home we bought together. This is surreal.

"So, I was wondering..." I say, looking away.

"Go on."

"Maybe I can move in while you're gone. I could even start up the new office that we've been building here. I can begin with the interviews and stuff and maybe do a little wedding planning with Eliza on the side."

His smile drops slowly and I ask him, "What's wrong lovey?"

"Why can't we do that together?" he questions.

"Oh, I was just thinking of things I can do while you're gone. Obviously, I don't want to do it without you but I'm adjusting, Seb," I explain to him. "I'll wait for you if that's what you prefer though."

"Yes, please. I can see you're excited to begin all of those things but I want to be a part of every single one of them." He thinks for a bit and adds, "Well, maybe not the wedding planning."

"So no cake testing or venue picking?"

"Nope," he says with a straight face and averts his eyes elsewhere. "Eliza is more than happy to do that."

"Please, baby," I ask innocently. He doesn't want to make any decisions for the wedding because he believes only a bride is supposed to do that but I want us to make decisions together.

"Do you really want me to?"

"Yes, please," I peck his cheek.

He looks me in the eye and places his forehead on mine. "I can't say no to you."

"I know," I giggle. "Because you love me."

"Too much," he pecks my lips twice.
