Working in the same space as Mr. Moldovan has been motivating me to work harder and, now I'm done with a task that would usually take much longer.
I also started to organize his meetings yesterday but, I'm done and we're not even halfway into the workday.
I scan the schedule for meetings that have to be done before going to New York and we may have to stay a bit longer because of his three meetings per week rule. I decide to print two copies of the schedule for us even though he might not even use it.
We also have to attend a business dinner tonight, which I'm dreading because I've never been to one. And to top it all off, Emilian has not been having the best day and I don't know why. I'm scared to approach him but, I can't just not tell him.
I walk back into the room to see his face in his hands. Standing in front of his desk I say his name softly, "Mr. Moldovan." He doesn't move so I speak louder repeating his name twice more.
He looks up aggressively and shouts, "What Elara?! What do you want?!" he yells at me, "Can't you see that I'm occupied? Maybe you should also make yourself useful." I furrow my eyebrows cause who does he think he's talking to?
I take a step back and pinch myself to make sure that actually just happened. He's about to speak up but then I stick my hand up.
I calmly speak tight-lipped, "First off, it's Ms. Suave to you, not Elara. Secondly, don't ever shout at me like that again because I am not your child. I came to tell you that I have finished what you told me to do. Here's your schedule, you have a business meeting tonight which I was going to attend with you but, I won't be going anymore though. I am done for the day and please do not contact me for the rest of the day unless there's an emergency because I am very upset right now."
I grab my belongings as he sits watching me in silence and I slam the door on my way out.

When I arrive at the penthouse, I decide to go shopping to calm myself and I finally have the chance to get the souvenirs I've been wanting. Before I leave I snap some photos to post later.
Once I'm outside, I call Liv to chat with her as I am walking so I don't feel alone. She picks up greeting me, "Wassup girl."
"Heyyy, I called so you can keep me company whiles I explore and buy a few souvenirs. And yes, I'm gonna get you something. What are you doing right now?"
"I was just scrolling on TikTok and watching Greys. Unlike you, I don't have work to bring home because I work at a gym. But now, I'm bored because I can't go to your apartment and bother you."
"Aww it's fine, I'll be back soon. Honestly, I would leave right now if I could," I say as I roll my eyes.
"Why? What happened."
"Nothing to worry about. Just know that my boss is a jerk and right now I hate him," I express as I walk into a little gift shop.
"Oh, I believe you. Why can't men be perfect? There's always something that ruins the ideal image we paint them as."
Shrugging my shoulders I reply, "I guess it's just life," my eye lands on a cute little bracelet on a shelf. "Omg, I love this bracelet so much. I'm definitely buying it."
I walk up to the counter and ask the lady, "Excuse me ma'am can I get 2 of these bracelets and 2 of those keychains behind you?"
"Of course! That will be 44 francs."
I suddenly hear Liv's voice, "Dang girl! What you buy?"
I giggle softly and exchange the money saying a quick "thank you," then I walk out of the shop with the gift bag in hand.
"Elara girl, I'll call you later. My bed is calling me."
"Alright byeeee, I'll talk to you later. Kisses," I hang up.

As I enter the penthouse, I notice the kitchen lights are on. I walk towards the light and I'm met with Emilian sitting by the island, scrolling on his phone. His coat is off and I can see his white dress shirt that's hugging his muscles nicely. A few buttons are loose and his sleeves are rolled up.
I quickly move past him, hoping he wouldn't notice, but I hear him call my name.
I try to walk faster but, he's already in front of me before I could reach the stairs. I roll my eyes, "Yes Sir, what can I do for you?"
"Oh, we're back to formalities? I thought we were past that," he says with a bit of disappointment in his voice. I feel him staring at me but I look elsewhere.
I've noticed he likes eye contact but, it's very intimidating because it feels as if he is staring into my soul.
"You lost that privilege when you decided to shout at me like a child," I mumble, not wanting to have this conversation with him.
"Will you look at me at least?" he lifts my chin forcing me to look into his eyes. As soon as I see his face, I felt vulnerable. Ugh, why does this man have to be sexy?
His eyes are full of emotions but it's dominantly guilt. "What do you want," I ask.
"First, I want to say I am truly sorry. I didn't mean to shout at you. I was not in a good mood and I'm so sorry for letting my anger out on you. I should've never done that and I understand if you don't forgive me, but please come to the dinner with me." He then places his hands on either side of my waist.
"Please?" he says softly pleading. As much as I want to refuse, I can't say no to his face.
"Fine, I will go with you. Although, I would rather see you beg more."
He looks down at me and smirks causing me to blush.
"But don't ever do that again," I say hitting him playfully. "You made me feel like a child and I don't like that," I say pouting and crossing my arm.
He takes my hands in his, "Again, I'm sorry." He then looks at his watch and back into my eyes. "It's 5:00 so you have three hours to get ready. I know girls need extra time, so I'll let you go now."
For some reason, I'm smiling. Well, we are both smiling. He is so darn cute, I just can't stay mad at him.
All I could say was "ok" before I slip out of his embrace and ascend the stairs. I honestly hope tonight goes well.
Since it wasn't a strictly professional dinner, I want to wear something that would make me feel comfortable and sexy. So, after about 30 minutes of searching, I settle on an olive, deep plunge jumpsuit with velvet fabric.
I pair it with earrings and pretty clear heels. Then I style my hair into a slick back ponytail to keep it out of my face.
Why did I spend an hour looking for an outfit and simply doing my hair? I usually don't do makeup because it is very time-consuming but, tonight I have time. I think I'm leaning towards a natural, simple makeup look so, I don't do too much.
