I'll—most probably—end this book by end of January or start of February.

WANIYA'S POV:

"Ezzah get up, It's your school," I tried waking her up. "Mammaa," she whined. "I told you to sleep early last night but you were busy watching Disney movies with Mirha," I said. "Mama, it's okay if I won't go to school one day," this girl. "Ezzah," I called. An idea suddenly struck me, and with a playful grin, I gently reached over and began to tickle her sides.

The soft, light touch sent a wave of laughter spilling from her lips, echoing through the quiet room. Startled awake, her eyes flew open, sparkling with surprise and amusement.

She couldn't help but giggle uncontrollably, and I felt a warmth spread through me, delighted by the sound of her laughter ringing out in the stillness of the morning. "Mama, stop," she said between her giggles. I couldn't help but smile looking at her and I eventually stopped tickling her, as she was wide awake.

"Sha." Shayan was leaning against the door frame, looking at us, and smiling. I smiled at him. "Now get up we are getting late," I took Ezzah to the bathroom and freshened her up.

I helped her wear her uniform. She looked so pretty my little cute heart. I kissed her. "Eww, mama don't do it." She wiped her cheek with her hand. I peppered little kisses on her face and she got annoyed, I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Chalo, have your breakfast," I made her sit at the dining table. (Now.) "Sha?" she questioned me. "Ajata hai tumhara Sha bhi," I said. (He will join you soon.) "Stop getting jealous, Waniya, " Shayan chuckled and sat on the of the seats of the table. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Mirha kahan hai?" He asked. "She is still sleeping," He nodded. "Waniya, we also need to discuss the dates for the wedding," Shayan reminded me of our betrothal and my heart dropped deeper and deeper. I nodded at him. "Whose wedding?" Ezzah questioned. I still haven't told Ezzah about our wedding, I know she is just a kid but she needs to know it.

"My and your mama's wedding." Shayan gave me a look of a surety. "Mama you are getting married??" she was shocked. I nodded at her. Soon a grin covered her face. "Complete your breakfast we need to go," I made her finish her breakfast. "Waniya, if you want I can accompany you," Shayan offered.

"But you told me you had a meeting at nine." Last night he informed me about his meeting. Shayan had his company's main branch in Pakistan so he was paying concentration to his company. He bounced his head.

I clutched Ezzah's bag and told her to follow me to the car. She was now excited to go to her new school. "Ezzah, listen to me carefully. Don't fight with your mates. I don't need your complaints and listen to your teachers." I advised her.

"Mama, I don't fight with anyone, they are the ones who start it." I shook my head at her antics. "Okay, but you need to be a good girl," I said and she nodded.

As we arrived at her school, I parked the car and turned off the engine, the cheerful sounds of children playing filling the air. After helping her out, we walked toward her classroom, my thoughts focused on meeting her teacher. I made my way to the principal's office.

Inside, the principal greeted me with a warm smile, clearly recognizing me. We exchanged pleasantries, and I asked about my daughter's teacher, eager to finally connect a face to the name and gain insight into her school experience.

"Actually, he isn't here. He would be here in some time," that was weird when she told me that Ezzah's teacher was a male because most of the time it's always the female teacher. But I hope they are good. "You can meet him at the off time," the principal suggested and she was right. I nodded at her.

Gave Ezzah a peck and left. I was going when I bumped into someone, I don't know who he was as he didn't stop and straight away went in.

The primary reason I have decided to allow Ezzah to join the school is the upcoming wedding, which I expect will require a significant amount of time and preparation.

I think it is important for her to remain engaged and productive rather than just sitting around idly during this period. By attending school, she can make the most of her time, continue her education, and stay actively involved in learning.

I went towards my brand — Zeeniya. We have our branches almost everywhere in the world. My brand is one of the most profit-generating brands on the whole. I wanted to dwell in the office and then the warehouse. After New York, Pakistan has my most branches.

I overlooked everything at the warehouse, the fabric, its quality, the type of thread being used all of it. I have hired a whole team for this but, I still need to go through everything, to make sure they are doing their work accurately.

As I settled into my workspace, surrounded by sketches and digital drafts that awaited my attention. Just as I began to immerse myself in the creative flow, the door to my cabin creaked open.

I glanced up to see Mirha stepping inside, her presence bringing a burst of energy into the room.

"Waniya," she called me. I looked at her to continue. "Shayan will be here in some time and we will discuss the dates of the engagement and then the wedding." I nodded. "Waniya, so you know where are his parents?" Mirha questioned.

"They died and he was their only son. His relatives did his upbringing and he goes there often," I told her. She nodded.

~

"So, thirty of this month is final?" Mirha questioned. "Yes," I answered. "We will decide the wedding dates after that," Shayan suggested and I agreed with him. His phone rang and excused us.

He came back and informed us about his meeting and he exited. Mirha and I were discussing some designs when my phone rang it was a random number. "Hello,"

"Is this Waniya, Ezzah's mother speaking?" a woman spoke. "Yes," I said. "Can you please come to school your daughter fought with someone.  "Okay, I will be there," I said. "Ezzah had a fight we need to go," I grabbed my car keys and we both settled down in the car.

ZEESHAN'S POV:

"Are you okay, now?" I caressed Anaya's head. I came on Friday and straight went to the hospital, they were taking Anaya home. I was mad at everyone for not telling instead of accepting their mistake they scolded Amna for implying me. I didn't allow them to say anything to her.

Today is Monday and I ought to go the school. I was all prepared and I was sitting with Anaya and she was having her breakfast. "Do you want to have ice cream?" I asked her, and she grinned and nodded, vigorously. I told her we would fetch it once I arrived back home.

I made my way towards the school. I did bump into someone, I know I should have said sorry but I was already getting late. I made my way toward my class when I entered, the students were already there - not sitting in their places when I saw the principal entering the class with a girl - that airport girl.

"Grumpy pants," she grinned and said the moment she saw. I couldn't help but smile at her. The principal was taken by the name she had called me. "You know him?" she asked her. "Yes, I saw him at the airport and........." she narrated the whole story.

"Looks like there's no need for an introduction," the principal smiled and she moved out. "Go, sit somewhere," I said. The first day is one of the hardest days as children aren't used to this atmosphere and we need to recall all the rules and manners of how to act in school.

I had a nice conversation with the class to keep them engaged, asked them what they did in their holidays, and stuff like that. Everyone was quiet but the girl whose tongue wasn't in her control was none other than - Ezzah.

"Ezzah," I called her.  "First, listen to me and then you can talk," I said and she nodded. "Sir, ma'am is calling you," the office said and I left the class. She wanted to discuss something related to the class.

~

"Hey, hey why are you crying?" I said to Maaz - one of the students in my class. "She pulled my hair," he pointed at Ezzah and I was dumbfounded. What is happening? I had only left class for ten minutes.

"Ezzah," I called her. "He shouldn't have made fun of my ponytails then." I shook my head. "Okay, but you shouldn't have beaten him. Say sorry." I said. "I wasn't wrong so I won't say sorry to him." She was stuck to her point. Pata nhi kesi bachi hai!! "Ezzah," I called her.

"Grumpy pants you should support me," she said. I shook my head at her antics. "Okay, come I will call your Mama," I said. She nodded.

I took her to the principal told her the scenario and asked her to call her mother. She agreed. After some time a girl entered most probably her mother. "Ezzah what did you do?" she asked her. She narrated the whole story.

"I am really sorry on her behalf," the woman said. "Where's Waniya?" the principal asked. My heart dropped at the name but I composed myself as ain't only one Waniya in the world. "She had a meeting so she couldn't make it," she explained.

"Come on Ezzah say sorry," the woman said. "I am sorry," Ezzah said but she had tears in her eyes.

"Come out I am waiting for you," Ezzah nodded. "If I had a Dad he would never have me apologize to you," she said with tears in her eyes. What did she mean? I saw her Dad at the airport. But her sentence did something to my heart. I wanted to hug Ezzah I felt sorry for her.

"He died," the principal told me. My heart shattered, Ezzah was too small to handle this. I shouldn't have been rude to her. What did I do?

The school got over at 11 am and I went to the office.

"Zeeshan, Shayan is back," Ahaan bhai informed me. "Shayan, Shayan Alyas?" I asked him. He nodded. Finally, I will be able to meet him. Shayan is none other than our only rival. I had never met him in person but I had heard a lot about him through Ahaan bhai and Farhan.

"He is the same Shayan who dated Amna." The revelation made my blood boil.
