Chapter 59

059 Journey (2)

I Got Breastfed Again

We played a lot together.

It was fun. Unfortunately, our fun was cut short by some uninvited guests. Five people, clothed in all white approached dad and mom. Clearly, they were from some political organization.

"You two... Where are you from?" the man in the front who looked like the leader of the gang asked. They didn't see us kids at the bottom of the hill. They saw mom and dad since they were sitting close to the top of the hill.

"Who wants to know?" Dad replied with another question.

"I am the youth wing secretary of the Vagamon branch of xxxx," he replied proudly.

"We are from Pala," dad replied with the name of a town that was a bit far from our place.

"Don't you have any place there to flirt around?" the uninvited guest asked rudely.

Mom's face darkened.

"Moral policing? In this fine morning, don't you have anything better to do than bothering a husband and wife?" dad asked.

"Husband and wife? Do you think we will believe it? Show your marriage certificate."

"It doesn't matter whether we are married or not. What you are doing is illegal. Even if we are not husband and wife, you have no authority to police us. If you bother us anymore, I will call the police," mom threatened the guy.

"Police? Do you know who I am? Threatening to call the police when you are caught red-handed? If you have the courage then-"

"Please stop ruining our day. Our kids are there. This is my wife. So please leave us alone. Furthermore, stop moral policing. None of your leaders will come to save you when you are caught by the police," dad didn't want any trouble.

"Kids?" the rude guy finally noticed us.

"Are you their kids?" he asked us just to be sure.

"Whose? That uncle and aunty's?" Anuchi replied with an innocent face.

This little devil!

"Uncle and aunty? Why are you with them if they are not your parents?" fortunately, he didn't believe it right away.

"They... gave ice cream," Piya answered with an even more innocent face.

This tiny devil!

I don't know whether I am worried or happy about it. But this tiny devil is growing up exactly like her elder sister.

"YOU..." this time, the rude guy believed it. Even in his wildest dreams he would never expect such a tiny kid to lie. He turned to mom and dad as if he caught a pair of human traffickers.

Dad sighed.

"Just search 'Philip KDF' if you want to know who I am," dad told the rude guy. Dad was tired of it and didn't want to drag it anymore.

Before the rude guy could retort, one of his lackeys came forward and murmured something in his ear. He hesitated for a bit. In the end, he took out his mobile phone played with it for a few seconds.

His face slowly turned pale. Clearly, he finally recognized dad. He never would have thought that the random husband and wife he decided to bully would turn out to be one of the most sought after politicians in the state.

Although KDF was still a small party contesting in just 7 out of 140 seats in the state, all the rival parties wanted to make ties with dad. They were all waiting for the election result. If KDF wins enough votes or seats, then everyone will be queueing to form allies. This was a publicly known fact.

"Sir... I am very sorry. It was a misunderstanding," the rude guy's attitude did a 180. Clearly, he wasn't as dumb as I thought.

"Misunderstanding? Who gave you the authority to moral police?" mom wasn't ready to accept his apology.

"Ma'am, couples from everywhere come here to flirt. So-"

"So? Does that make you jealous? Or do you want to bully them to feel powerful?"

The guy started sweating. More and more people started paying attention to the commotion. Some of them even recognized dad.

With so many people around, he wanted to regain some of his pride. So he turned to Anuchi.

"Little girl, why did you lie? Did your parents teach you to lie to elders?" he scolded Anuchi.

"Elder? You? Stop acting so high and mighty. You are just an extra who won't even get a name when my autobiography is written. You will be just a random 'rude guy'," Anuchi lashed out at the poor villain.

"You..." he started shivering.

"Leave," dad raised his voice.

The rude guy hesitated a bit. But in the end he and his lackeys walked away. He knew that staying anymore will only hurt his pride furthor.

"Look at him wearing white and acting like he is some big political leader. Doodu, come here," Anuchi was still angry. She called Doodu and whispered something in his ears.

During the entire event, I had my arm around Doodu's neck. He is a super-strong huge dog. He might get angry if someone fights with his mom. If that happens, then I won't be able to guarantee the safety of the uninvited guests. So I had to make sure that Doodu won't act rashly.

Doodu was excited. He ran to the trees without any delay.

I heard him barking inside the trees.

A few seconds later, a flock of birds flew from the trees.

They flew around a bit. Then they went straight for the villains.

The sudden arrival of birds attracted the attention of everyone. The birds flew above the head of the villains and... They pooped!

As if bomber planes bombing an enemy soldier base, they emptied their bowels.

"What..."

"No..."

Within seconds, all the villains got bird poo on them.

"Run... Take cover," the leader roared and ran to the car they came from.

But the birds weren't ready to give up. They chased the villains and pooped on their car too.

"Hahaha..." Anuchi laughed loud.

"Wooff... woo" Doodu was also happy.

Piya and Pichu were clapping their hands and jumping up and down.

The others in the area were also laughing.

"Hrmph... If they ever come here wearing their stupid white, the birds will poop on them," Anuchi proudly declared.

"Woow..." Doodu agreed.

This is why Anuchi shouldn't be annoyed.

If you make her your enemy, then you will feel that the entire world has become your enemy.

"Why am I even feeding you two?" mom appeared in front of us. She glared at Anuchi and Piya.

"Eekk..." Anuchi screamed and jumped back.

"Ammaa..." Piya extended her arms and ran to mom cutely.

"Amma? Weren't you calling me aunty before?" mom wasn't ready to give up.

In short, we all got punished for lying. Mom also guessed that the bird incident was done by Anuchi and Doodu. We got punished for that too. Poor Pichu had no idea why he was getting punished. In every gang, there would be someone like Pichu. He won't be part of any of the trouble and still would get punished for something the others did.

Around ten, Jeemma and her family arrived. She interfered and rescued us. She had bought her three kids and husband. Her eldest son, Joe was ten years old. He was the big brother of us all. The second son was 8 and the girl was 5.

"Achu, do you miss your girlfriends?" he came and teased me.

"Not as much as you miss elder sister Smitha," I replied without any hesitation.

"Who is Smitha?" Jeemma asked.

"I.. I don't know. He is just teasing me," Joe denied. Smitha was a girl on whom he had a huge crush on. It was a secret. I learned it while they were in college in my previous life. One day, Jeemma found a stack of love letters from Joe's travel bag. It was a small issue back then.

Just to be clear. This incident haven't happened yet. It will happen in about ten years in future.

"You little piglet, listen. If you make trouble for me, I will throw you down from a bridge," he threatened me secretly. He was probably wondering how I know about Smitha.

I just smiled.

He was just like his father. Too innocent and cannot even hurt an ant. Other than threatening me, there was nothing he could do. But I didn't push him further. There was no need to hurt his pride as the big brother.

We continued our journey.

Dad and mom took turns in driving. If mom drives the car, then she won't get motion sickness. We covered hills one by one. We passed through many towns and villages. In between, we stopped for refreshments. We kids all sat at one table while the adults sat at another. Doodu was grumpy because he wasn't allowed inside.

Although we didn't travel too far, I noticed minute changes in the dressing style of people. There were also changes in the snacks that filled the almaras of the roadside restaurants.

"Ladies and gentlemen, if you look at your right, you can see nothing because of a boring hill. If you look at your left, then you can see a lot of boring mountains. If you look in front, you can see an amma about to puke." Anuchi started giving live commentary.

"Anu shut up. I am trying not to think about it." Mom interjected.

"Ok. I won't talk about puking. Achu, you should not talk about it. Piya, if you talk about puking, mom will get angry. Pichu, make sure-"

"Anu if you don't shut up, I will come there and spank you." Mom threatened.

Anuchi laughed. But she didn't continue. She knows the limit to which mom can be annoyed without getting us punished.

After ten minutes, we stopped because Anuchi had to puke.

"Ladies and gentlemen, if you look at the roadside, you can see a little Anu puking." Mom had her revenge. Despite her happiness, she was the one who had to clean up Anuchi.

Anuchi was a bit down after puking. So dad started playing songs that we like. We started singing along. In no time, Anuchi regained her form.

Travelling to highrange is complicated. The twists and turns and the altitude changes make it hard. But at the same time, the scenery is beautiful. If you haven't visited highrange, then you haven't seen Kerala.

The destination was even better.

After nearly four hours of journey and multiple stops in between, we finally reached our destination by 2 PM.
