It was around noon, when the wedding ceremony began. The bride, Selina, and the bridegroom, Wilson, walked slowly, matching steps with the music playing in the background. It was magical, as the guests looked upon the beautiful couple. Selina and Wilson turned to look at the crowd, surrounded by the people they loved and respected, they were thrilled. The crowd cheered and applauded, as they smiled. Their faces shone with happiness and in that moment, both Selina and Wilson knew that they were going to remember this forever.

The ceremony continued smoothly as the onlookers gazed with dreamy eyes at the couple. Everything went smoothly, just as expected. Finally, the bride walked up to the mic and took it in her hands to give a speech. The crowd fell silent, waiting to hear from the new bride. She said,"Thank you, dear family and friends, for gracing our wedding with your presence. It is indeed a beautiful time for us to be amidst you and be blessed by you.

Today, I want to make an announcement. My company, JS Group, will now be taken over by my brother Derek. I hereby, declare him the President of JS Group."

Derek was caught absolutely unprepared. He didn't know how to react and stood, dumbfounded. 'Why didn't she discuss this with me before making a decision like this?' he wondered.

Jackson and Cherry were taken aback too. They could not understand why Selina would step aside and give up her position like that.

"Derek, did you know about this? Have you and Selina discussed this?" Amy was surprised, as she looked directly at Derek and questioned him.

Bewildered, Derek shook his head and said,"No, actually she has never ever brought this up."

Jackson studied Selina's smiling face carefully and said,"Judging by how happy she is, it seems this thought had been brewing in her mind for a very long time. It isn't an impulsive decision at all."

"Yes, it seems so. I guess it had been in her mind for a long time." Cherry agreed with Jackson.

Derek caught Selina's eye in the crowd. They both looked at each other. Derek was extremely thrilled, since he understood why Selina had suddenly handed over the company to him.

Once the ceremony was over, Selina headed towards a dressing room for a change of clothes. As she entered, she caught sight of Cherry, who was waiting inside the room.

Selina was surprised to see her there. She asked,"Cherry! What are you doing here?" Selina did not understand why Cherry was here when she should have been eating lunch with Jackson in the hall.

Cherry gently walked up to Selina and held her hand. She said,"I came her for you. I thought you might need a helping hand."

Selina replied cheekily,"Oh yes, I do need your help actually. I need you to unbutton my dress."

My CEO Ex-husband "Okay," Cherry replied. She went and stood behind Selina, slowly and carefully undoing the buttons of her dress.

Cherry said,"Selina, you look so radiant and astounding today. I just could not take my eyes off you." Cherry's words were extremely sincere, and she really felt that Selina's confidence and her demeanour was beyond perfect today.

"Cherry, can I tell you something? I had been waiting for this day since the time I had started to date Wilson. I am so happy that I am now a part of the Yuwen family. I feel as if all my wishes have been fulfilled. I just want Wilson by my side now, for the rest of my life. I want nothing else."

"That is why you handed over JS Group to Derek, isn't it?" Cherry asked. Cherry had already read her thoughts and was sure this was the reason she gave up her company. Still, she wanted to hear it from Selina herself.

"Yes," Selina said,"I know I have had a successful work profile, my company is doing well and I have achieved a lot in life. But now, I just want to be Wilson's wife. I want to harness my skills to help him run H King Group and be by his side always. I want to be a part of his family and work towards my marriage only."

Cherry had finished unbuttoning Selina's dress and now came forward and looked directly into her eyes. She said,"Selina, you are going to be a very good wife to Wilson. You have been very considerate and selfless in your love for him. He is very lucky to have you."

Selina smiled at Cherry,"I am going to try and be a very good wife Cherry. I am willing to change myself for his sake. I know he deserves that."

Cherry looked at Selina and could not help but notice the steely determination in her eyes. She was sure that Selina would make a good wife to Wilson. She wished them both a life of happiness and without expressing her delight, prayed for their well-being and full life. Cherry was happy that Wilson had found a kind and sensible wife, like Selina.

In the hall, Wilson sat beside Jackson, while Derek and Mond took a seat opposite them.

"Did Selina tell you she was going to do this?" Derek asked Wilson, he was not able to focus on anything else right now.

"No, actually she did not. But I am glad she took this decision. Now that she had married me, I don't want her to work so hard. I am happy that she has handed over the reigns of JS Group to you. Think of it as a gift from us," said Wilson, smiling a little.
