Death did they part but their souls will reunite - 22

Takeo's POV

After Erica left, I told my people that I will be going to war to help my friend, Erica. I never thought that they would actually help me but I was really happy when they did. We travelled by transforming in our fox forms and we arrived 2 days after. We needed the energy so we didn't use a lot of it.

When we arrived, the humans were out numbering the strong demons. I then saw the group that Erica talked about. A girl with rose colored hair tied into a braid, followed by men with colorful hair. Nobody seems to attack them and if they did, they were somehow stabbed in the back by humans or they were distracted. It was like they weren't mean't to be injured. I then transformed into a 9 tail silver fox. I was running after them but Erica's words reminded me. "Don't go after them. You'll die without them even bothering you."

I bit my lips in anger and looked away. I began attacking the humans. The demons and humans were confused at first but they then realized we were on the demon's side.

The demons were winning but then another army of werebeast of all kinds started appearing and helping the humans. The elfs arrived and were firing arrows from the trees. Suddenly, the fairies showed up and sprinkled the demons and the silver foxes dust which made them more powerful and hoave more stamina.

It was an equal fight. We were head to head and in the corner of my eye I saw that Rose and the three men has entered the castle. I wanted to go after them but as I was distracted, a human stabbed my paw. I growled and sliced it's head off and ran and began stumping on the humans and werebeast.

In the end, before we can kill each other, a bright beam of light came from the castle making everyone look. The foxes and were beast transformed back to their human forms and everyone dropped their weapons. A ring suddenly appeared in my hands and I quickly recognized it as Erica's. It was now in my possesion.

"Peasents! Bow down to your new ruler! Muhhahaha!" A man appeared but then was smacked by a woman. They were inside the beam so we couldn't see them properly.

"This war has to stop. We must learn to co-exist with one another. Or destruction will clearly befall upon everyone. The demon king, the demon queen, and the human heroes died for you." Everyone started to kneel down at their presence. It was the goddess of light and the god of darkness.

They disappeared and the sun was starting to set making twilight appear. Everyone didn't know what to do anymore. Suddenly, the queen of fairies arrived.

"Humans, demons, werebeast, elves- The gods has spoken. We cannot continue this war. I suggest you write the peace treaty of yours and learn to co-exist. The leaders of your group shall sign here in this scroll. May you all learn your lesson." She grabbed a scroll that glowed golden, as the moon rises.

The kings of the humans, the first prince of the demons, Axel, the king of the werebeast, a lion, and the leader of the elves. They stepped forward and began to sign the scroll. The queen of the fairies nodded and she left as a strong wind blew turning her into golden dust as she disappeared.

Everyone then slowly left to their countries. I went back with my family to the tribe. A few of our people died but we still weren't extinct so it was okay.

We arrived at our home and I went to my room after the long walk towards here. I then remembered the ring and looked at it. My eyes misted up and I shook my head. I stared at the ring intently and tried to open whats inside.

I was suprise that I could open it. I then saw the letters in the space and see that there were names addressed to them. I saw my name

The next day I delivered them to those people. It was for her guard, Kent, her brother, Phoenix, her parents, Jack Snow and myself.

I grip the letter with my naame on it and opened it. I read it again and again and laughed bitterly at her words.

7 years later...

I became the leader of the silver fox tribe. I had a wife and 2 boys and 1 girl. There were little cute children and I couldn't help but cry at how cute they are. I wish Erica would have been here to see this.

After the war, the demons and humans learned to co-exist and there were even some who wanted to marry each other. Axel, Hades's brother, became king and married a girl named Selena who was a human which made everyone legalized the rule to be able to marry a demon.

I still remember the days of me and Erica. I sighed and began to help my family cook dinner for the annual feast for then end of the war celebration.

Somewhere in Reality...

3rd person's POV

It was a bright morning. The sun was high in the sky and the plants were green and happy at the rain last night. There were still droplets of water in the leaves making the park looked enchanting.

A girl with midnight black hair that reaches her elbows tied with a purple bow was crouching down to look at the flowers. She stood up and looked at the car with her droopy emerald green eyes. Her long eyelashes fluttered and she began walking back to the car where her bodyguards were waiting for her. They opened the door as she walked in.

A woman with long silky black hair, and light coffee eyes that seems to hold a lot of secrets, rosy cheeks, and red glossed lips smiled sweetly at her. She looked like she was in her 20's. She reached out her smooth milky white hand with a ring on one of her fingers and carressed the head of her daughter. The car then drove towards a mansion.

The girl looked at her mom.

"Mom, where's dad?" She asked, as she looked at the entrance.

"He's probably busy with work. He'll come around soon." Her mother went outside the car with her daughter following behind her.

They arrived at the dining area after a long walk and waited for a while. The doors burst open and a man with blonde hair, sharp green eyes, and a muscular build entered the room, smiling as he saw his 2 favorite persons sitting, waiting for him to arrive.

"Misha! My wife! And my darling Peony!" They smiled as he arrived and he then walked towards her daughter Peony, but his wife, Misha, stopped him.

"Darling, don't you think you should wash up? You got a lot of ketchup on you." His wife hinted at his red dripping clothes, staining the floor. The iron smell was strong on him.

He looked down and realized. "Oh, of course! I'll be right back soon!" He quickly ran as he flashed his cocky smile and ran to his bedroom and quickly changed clothes to eat with his family.

"I know that's blood mom." Peony said as she looked at the floor with blood. The servants with their uniform quickly washed it up, not flinching or making uneccessary movements like they are used to it. They quickly left and Peony's father arrived with new clean clothes.

"Let's eat!" He sat at the head of the table. On his right was his wife, and beside his wife was his daughter.

"Where's big brother?" Peony looked at father's left. An empty chair and silverware was there.

"He's with his tutors. He'll arrive soon." Her mother said. A cute boy then popped up and arrive and he sat at his chair. He looked like a cute gentleman with his smooth blonde hair combed to the side, his cute button nose, sharp coffee brown eyes, he was wearing a shirt with a red bow on his collar.

"Hello, father, mother, sister." He greeted and he was helped up to sit on his chair by the butler. They began to dine. It was peaceful and calm as Peony's parents chatted which Peony was half listening into.

"I forgot. We have visitors that arrived while you two were away." Peony's father said.

"They've already arrived? I'll go greet them after." Her mother nodded. "You know, Peony's so sharp and smart! I can't believe that she already knows how to read!" Her mother changedthe subjesct to praising about her children.

"She can? Ah, just 4 years ago she was a baby, now she's growing up and be able to read!" His father cried about her baby daughter growing up.

"Oh and I can't believe Leo already knows how to aim! Im so proud of him!" Her mother fangirled. Peony finished eating and went down the chair helped by her personal maid.

"Thank you, Ellen." Peony said. She looked at the maid with dark red hair tied in a bun, her face filled with youthful elegance even though she's already at her 40's. She tilted her head and smiled, her dark brown eyes glinted with red but quickly disappeared as she blinked.

"Where are you going, Peony?" Her mother asked.

"I'll be going to the gardens. I'll return before sundown." Her mother approved and she walked with Ellen towards the exit. Small foot steps were following her and Peony looked at her brother following behind. Peony held out her pale small hand, which her brother smiled and grabbed it and walked with her.

"Brother Leo, why are you following me?" She asked as the door towards the gardens was opened by Ellen.

"I wanted to spend time with you." Leo answered. Peony walked to the gardens and looked at the plants that was watered this morning. She saw in the corner of her eye a boy that was sitting on the branches of a tree near her house. She turned to look at her maid and brother that was following behind her.

"Can you bring me a pot and trowel? I wanna get this flower in my room?" Peony asked as she acted cute but not out of character that made them suspicious.

"Oh dear. I think we ran out of pots last week. I'll go and buy them on the store." Ellen muttered. "I'll help." He couldn't say no to her sister's request.

They left and Peony stopped acting cute and began walking slowly and quietly towards the tree where the boy rested.

She stared at the boy that was about her age. His soft jet black hair, long eyelashes, chubby rosy cheeks, amber colored skin, small tender lips, small chubby hands. He was wearing a black shirt with a pair of blue shorts and white sneakers.

His eyelashes fluttered open and smirked. Looking at the little lady with an elegant dress staring at him. "Stare all you want, i'll let you."

Peony's eyes glared and her cheeks redden in embarrasment. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" She crossed her chest in a protective manner.

"The man you've been looking for. The man of your dreams." He jumped down and landed near Peony. He was 2 inches taller than her so she had to tilt up slightly to look at his face.

"Right." She rolled her eyes. "So who are you?"

"Don't you know its rude for you to ask someone's name without telling your name first?" He raised and eyebrow in a cocky manner.

Her face turned a shade brighter. "I wasn't taught etiquette yet." She coughed. "Im Peony Erica Hilung. Nice to meet you." She curtsied.

"Well I'm Pluto." He bowed.

"Pluto as in the roman god version of Hades?" Peony inquired. Pluto shrugged. "I'll call you Hades then!" Peony smiled. She then kicked his leg and use her weight to sit on top of him so he can't escape.

"Woah there little lady! What are you doing?" He asked, suprised. He was never handled like this before.

"You're going to tell me why you're here, and how." She ordered.

"Get off me! Im a visitor! My mom is friends with the woman who owns this mansion, now get off!" Peony stood up and patted the dust away from her skirt. Pluto gasped, finaly free from the suffocation.

"Guest? I don't remember- oohhhh.... my bad..." Peony remembered the conversation her father and mother had. She then helped Pluto stand up and removed the grass from his shorts.

"Well, little lady. Peony Erica Hilung right? As in the one who's mom is friend with my mom?" Peony nodded.

"Well, you can call me Hades I guess... let's see... I'll call you, Peo! No... Eon? Nah! You know what! I'll just call you Erica!" Pluto smiled. Satisfied with her nickname.

"Let's go back to the gardens. They might be back." Peony walked towards the gardens with Pluto following behind her. She arrived and looked at the flowers. Seconds later, Ellen and Leo arrived with a pot and trowel.

"You timed that perfectly." Pluto whispered.

"Im very good at that." Peony whispered back.

Ellen and Leo were suprise to see Pluto near Peony. They didn't know this boy.

"Hello there. You must be one of our guests that arrived this morning. Welcome to our estate." Ellen bowed.

Leo bowed as well. "Hello. Im Leo Herold Hilung."

Pluto bowed at the both of them. "Pluto Ainsworth. Greetings."

After the introduction, Ellen helped Peony grab a flower and put it on a pot. They grabbed a bit of soil and put it there as well for the roots to travel. After that they went back to the mansion to wash up.

They arrived at the living room to hear cheerful chatter inside. The pot Peony brought inside was already in her bedroom. She went in with Leo, Pluto, and Ellen.

"Oh look who it is! Come here! I'll introduce you to them." Peony's mother then happily pushed Peony and Leo to their guests and introduced themselves to each other. They drank tea as they talked while Pluto was catching glimpses at Peony which everyone noticed.

"Erica!" Pluto said. Peony and hermother both yurned towards him. "Yes?" They both said.

"Uhh..." A sound escaped from Pluto's lips.

"Sorry. I thought I heard someone call my name." Peony's mother said. She laughed it away and they resume talking.

"Come here!" Pluto then gestured towards and empty spot on the couch next to him. Peony walked towards him. She tilted her head in question.

"Mom! I wanna marry Erica!" Pluto pointed at him.

"What are you doing, Hades!" Peony smacked his head in anger and embarrassment.

Everyone was shocked and that quieted them down. Peony's father then raged and grabbed Peony towards him.

"No! No one is marrying my daughter! Not unless I say so!" Peony's father yelled and protected her from Pluto. Peony's mother sighed.

"Well, we kinda want our daughter to marry the one she loves. But I guess you can go up for the running. Try to woo her." Peony's mother suggested.

"Of course!" Pluto smiled. He then looked at Peony and winked. Shivers ran to her spine.

Peony's mother smiled.

"They found each other again."
