The War and The End - 21

3rd person's POV

Erica woked up naked to find herself in Hades's room. She covered her face as she felt her face turn red. A week has passed since the wedding and Erica was drunk that night when Hades suggested to do it.

Erica looked at the handsome mad beside her. She looked at his handsome drooling face, down to his eight pack abs, and stopped when she saw his little brother down there. She then grabbed the blanket making the sleeping King roll down towards the floor, waking him up. Erica covered her naked body with the blanket and felt mad at herself.

"Oww..." Hades stood up to see his queen, pouting as she covered herself with the blanket.

"How dare you... Im so stupid... Why-" She muttered but was suddenly hugged by Hades and was raised in the air.

"Put me down! Put me down!" She tried to wriggle herself free but Hades kept a tight grip on her. "Come on, lets go to the bathroom. We need to clean ourselves up!" He teased.

"Do it by yourself! I'll follow after!" She continued to wriggle out. "Stop moving or I might drop you." He warned. Erica stopped and continued to pout in the blankets. Hades smiled at his cute wife and princess carried her to the bathroom.

"You go take a bath first. I'll take a bath after." Erica nodded as Hades kissed her forehead and left.

'Hmm... I wonder when my destruction will be.' I looked at the bath tub and removed the blanket covering her naked body. She filled the tub with hot water and began to relax herself.

'If I recall... after they meet Erica in a village, it would be months after they start the war. But we kinda asked the fairy kingdom to not help them so maybe it will be a long time. I hope so.'

After she finished bathing, she peaked outside the door to see Hades carrying clothes. He handed it to her, "Here you go." She nodded and thanked him and began to change into a black turtle neck shirt, and a violet skirt that reaches her knees.

She left the bathroom as Hades went inside carrying his clothes as well. Erica walked towards a chair near the window and looked at the demon village below him.

'It's a shame that I would die. This world is beautiful.' She felt tears run down her cheeks. 'I seem to cry a lot in this world. I wonder why.'

A knock resounded in the room. The shower was on so Hades probably hasn't heard the knock. Erica walked towards the door and opened it. A demon maid curtsied, "My queen, a visitor wishes for your presence."

Erica nodded and followed the demon maid towards the guest room. She saw a boy with silver hair, with silver fox ears and a tail sitting in a chair drinking tea. He looked at her with his silver eyes and smiled.

'Takeo...' Erica jumped at him and hugged his small, child body.

"Erica-" Erica stopped hugging him and was so very happy that tears were about to spill.

"Im so sorry! How are you? Have you eaten well? How did you find me?" Takeo sighed and just smiled at her.

"It's okay, Erica, I've been well. Im eating just fine, and Im a were-beast, a silver fox as well so our noses are pretty sharp. Im quite suprise your married. I thought no one would marry a crazy woman like you." Erica hit his head in anger at his comment as Takeo laughed.

"Im glad your well." Erica looked at him seriously. She lowered herself to eye level with him. "Takeo, I can take you back to your clan. Will you be okay with it?"

Takeo looked at her in shock. "I-I can go back home?"

"We certainly can. The silver fox village can be easily tracked down by our best demon navigators, I can assure you." A deep, powerful voice answered before Erica can say anything.

Erica and Takeo stood up and bowed. "Hades, meet my friend, Takeo. His the silver fox that I took in that I talked about." Said Erica.

"Im glad you finally reunited with him." Hades patted her head and looked at Takeo. "If you want, we can sure take you home." Takeo nodded.

"I guess you'll be going to silver fox village, love. Be sure to bring souveniers and don't enjoy yourself too much." Hades said as she kissed her forehead.

"Your not going with us?" Erica asked.

"I'll be busy with Kingdom affairs since we now have a new queen. You can leave to go to silver fox village after lunch. It would be a two day trip towards the village I think." Erica hugged Hades and kissed his cheek as she ran to her room to prepare her luggage.

She got lost, as Hades found her somewhere far from her bedroom. "Ask a maid for directions before you run off somewhere." He carried her like a sack. "Sorry..." She cried.

2 days later, they arrived safetly with no accidents at the Silver Fox Clan. Takeo got excited and jumped off the carriage as he smelled home with his sharp nose. He got there before us and I jumped off the carriage once we arrived.

"Im here. Im finally home." Takeo muttered.

Sensing our presence, Silver Fox guards suddenly appeared with bows and spears aiming at our direction. Seeing a Silver Fox they halted and began whispering. A powerful figure suddenly emerged and looked at the Silver Fox. His eyes widened as he spoke in Silver Fox language to let them in.

The stone gates opened and everyone welcomed them. Erica and Takeo entered as the carriage flew off which will return a week later.

"Son! Son! How are you?" The powerful figure spoke as he hugged Takeo.

"F-father! Father!" He hugged him back as he smelled his familiar fatherly scent.

"Im so sorry. I was a fool to not protect you. I should have been there." The powerful figure began to draw circles on Takeo's back.

"Its okay! Im home." Takeo hugged him tighter. A silver fox woman with a girl suddenly ran up to the both of them and hugged Takeo as well.

"My baby! Im so glad your okay! Your stupid father is so stupid, forgive him for his foolishness..." The silver fox mother said as she pulled Takeo away from the man and hit his head as she hugged Takeo, crying.

"I knew baby brother will be okay!" The other girl said that ran with the woman, which is Takeo's mother.

It was a happy reunion and everyone cheered and at night they celebrated with a feast. Erica wasnt forgotten and she was thanked by Takeo's family. Takeo wasn't in the feast which made Erica confused and scared.

"Where is he?" Erica asked his father.

"He'll be here. He was just gonna changed his clothes."

Seconds later, the door opened revealing a handsome Silver fox man with a well built slender body, sharp silver eyes, and a powerful aura. Everyone stopped talking and laughing and kneelef before him. Erica followed as she looked at everyone's actions. "Who's he? He seems familiar?"

"Rise. You may continue the feast!" He smiled and headed towards our direction.

"Erica! Im glad you're enjoying the party." Erica looked at Takeo in shock.

"Is this your real form? You look older than the one you transformed into last time!" Erica chatted with Takeo and enjoyed the rest of her stay here during the week.

A week passed as she waited for the carriage to arrive. She then saw it arriving as the demon that was guiding the horses, looked scared.

He arrived as he gasped and quickly handed Erica a letter.

Dear Erica,

We are at war. I want you to stay there but Im sure you wouldn't do that. So I prepared some armor that is very strong to protect you. Meet me in the throne room once you arrived and I will show you where the armor and weapons are.

Your husband,

Hades

Erica gripped at the letter.

"What happened?" Takeo asked, worried. Erica's expression turned ugly and she looked really mad and scary.

"She started early. Im going to have to go. A war is coming." Erica looked at the demon who has finally breathed as he nodded at her in understanding and grabbed her luggage and put it in the carriage and gave her the bag where the armor is in.

"A war!? We can help! Were powerful!" Takeo suggested but Erica rasied her hand. "No! Your safe here, your finally home, you cant just die in the war. You have a family that loves you." Takeo gripped his clothes tightly, his ears and tail were now down making him look cute and sad.Erica reached for her hand to pat his head as a good bye but he pushed it away and ran.

"Im sorry..."

Erica went in the car and put on the helmet and seatbelt as per instrycted by the driver and told the driver that she was ready. The driver nodded in determination as he pressed a button which transformed the carriage in to a race car that can fly. He turned on turbo mode and they flew towards the castle within half a day.

Erica, a little dizzy from the speed left the car and puked out her breakfast. She wiped it off and began to ran towards the throne room.

Erica saw Hades in concentration as he discussed with other demons about the plan to protect the demon kingdom. Erica hugged him from behind. Hades smiled at Erica.

"How are you?." Hades gave her a kiss on the forehead and thought of a strategy of fighting the humans.

"I heard that the Star kingdom is helping the Planet kingdom in defeating the demon king, which means there would be... hmm... about 8000 soldiers coming towards us from the west and north west. They should arrive about tomorrow evening, and start to fight us at dawn." A human like male with bat wings and black hair said.

"I heard that they are sending a group of children to the Elven Kingdom for more forces. Why would they send a bunch of children? What idiots..." A squid face monster with scale like fish skin said.

"Its because its fate. That Heroine girl... She's smart..." Erica muttered, the general monsters heard her and looked at her in question.

"Whatever the Heroine wants, she somehow gets. Heroine, as in Rose." Erica rolled her eyes as she remembered that slightly persistent and enjoyable girl is now gone.

"Rose? That girl being chased by those men we've been watching? How is she that powerful? A mere commoner... interesting..." Hades remembered the moments with Erica as they climbed up that tree and watch Rose being flirted by guys in the garden.

"Do I smell cheating?" Erica glared at her husband. Hades gulped and started to sweat nervously at his wife's cold glare.

He raised his hands in surrender, "No- darling! Its just a thought! A mere thought!" Erica nodded as she smiled a not smile then became expresionless again.

"Ehem... moving on. Let's continue..." they continued their conversation but Erica decided to sit down in the couch and drink tea as they began to strategize. She knows the results, but with the new developments, she couldn't be too sure. She's not very good at strategizing or war stuff but she tried her best.

'If things end up like the game because of fate, then the demons and humans would live in harmony after I, Erica, would kill the Heroine, Rose, and her love interets in the end. This is what makes the otome game so diffrent. This actually involves murder but it can hve a happy ending when you press the right choices.'

It was getting late and she sighed. She went back to her bedroom as Selen guided her to her room.

"So what's the news? I wasn't allowed in the throne room which they made into a strategy room for some reason, so I couldn't hear the details. Why is the war so early?" Selena looked at Erica seriously.

"The heroine, is actually reincarnated. She no longer is following the script. I dont know why, but Im not sure what will happen."

"She's reincarnated as well? Truck-sama's working hard all right..."

"You better get some sleep. Its getting late." Selena nodded and left her room. Erica sighed and massaged her forehead and changed into sleep wear clothes after Selena left.

Erica walked in the throne room. Her steps echoed loudly enough for the 5 figures to hear. They all stared at her as she elegantly walked with her beautiful, purple dress that look enchanting on her as she walked, ignoring the dead bodies of humans and monsters in the throne room.

She stopped when she reached her beloved's side. Hades smiled at her appearance as he looked at her wearing the armor dress. It was a dress made out of the finest of 'Stoff des Schutzes.' A fabric bestowed upon the Goddess of Light herself from the very far past. Rose also has one but it wasn't as elegant as Erica's but her's was indeed cute.

It was quiet for a while, until Erica decided to break the silence.

"Welcome to our castle."

"It's quiet a lovely one you have." Rose answered back.

"Im sure it's quiet ironic to end up in this situation. We were just in school chatting, and next thing you know, you become enemies and are after each other's throats!" Erica looked at the four of them. Her eyebrows furrowed. "Where's brother?"

"He won't be joining us." Prince Christopher finally spoke after having a glaring contest with Hades.

"Okay. Let's end this. Don't want to waste any more time." Erica grabbed the marble from the space ring. She began to chant and light came out. It then transformed into a bomb and she threw it at the four of them. Alarmed they quickly ran as instincts made them sense danger. It burst and a cloud of smoke was released.

"Like my suprise? There's more from where that came from!" Erica began to throw bombs with poison gas that can paralyze the peron for 24 hours.

"W-what is that! Your not suppose to have that!" Rose yelled, running away from the bombs.

"And Im not suppose to be here ti'll next year! So f*ck off!" Erica enjoyed throwing them and was starting to have fun with her infinite source of bombs from her great weapon until a beep sounded.

The bomb throwing stop as the marble returned. The four of them can finally breathe.

'Aw dang! Why does 20 minutes pass by so fast... now I have to wait for an hour...'

"Is that the best you've got?" Rose panted.

"Kinda..." Erica then grinned and chanted a summon for her Kusarigama. She could have grab it from the space ring but she looked kinda cool and maybe sexy when she pulled it out.

"I Erica Jane- no. I, Misha Hilung, summon from the heavens to hell to the Earth, I summon thee >>" And out a magic circle in her feet. She reached out her right hand and out came out her weapon, a small scythe-like weapon with a very strong ribbon attached to its end so that she can freely throw or swing it everywhere and she can just pull it back with it's ribbon.

Erica grabbed it and smack the floor with the riboon and out came out a small wall of fire between them. After that, everyone started to summon their weapons. No one wants to give up without a fight.

Hades summoned a black double-edge sword, with one side that can use an element power when chanted, and the other side that can release dark magic.

Rose pulled out her magic staff of light that can heal wounds, and blast long-ranged UV rays (not really). And her frost sword that can be used for fighting. Uhh.. its actually normal.. just called frost sword...

Prince Christopher pulled out his Chakram, it is circular in shape with a sharpened outer edge and a size range of approximately 30 centimetres but he can change the size of it, and it can also be a gun, and its golden. Woo~~

Harrison pulled out a his Tessen which is a folding fan with outer spokes made of heavy plates of iron which were designed to look like normal, harmless folding fans, with flower designs which looked elegant and not girly.

Robert also released his gauntlet which can shoot elements of any choice and when he punches its stronger than his normal punches. Its green, and can protect him from bullets and elemental bullets as well, but only in the arms.

Erica then smirked, diffrent from her usual emotionless face she used in school. She then threw her Kasuragima towards Rose, who was caught off guard, and was almost hit but Prince Christopher pushed her just in time.

Hades then battled with Robert and Harrison, the side chracters, and now the main protagonist and antagonists fight. Erica raised her chin up and haughtily walked towards Rose and Christopher. Rose then blasted a beam but Erica dodged it and continued walking. "Sadly, you have a drawback. You can't move whenever you attack." Erica turned to Christopher, "And your still scared of catching your weapon whenever you throw it."

They gulped in fear as they sweat nervously. Rose shook her nerves away and looked determination. "Were the good guys! We always win!" Rose yelled, snapping Christopher out of his trance. "The prophecy says that you'll destroy us! We can't let that happen!"

"Ah yes... the prophecy... actually, your kingdom is already destroyed. Your nobles are quite corrupted and I heard that your father's mistress was the one who poisoned your mother. So I guess what I was gonna do was mercy? Yes, mercy..." Erica satisfied with the thought she said outloud, smiled at Christopher.

"What a cute brother you have! I heard he just found his magic at age 5 and is quite smart! And you found your magic at age 11!" Christopher's eyes turned red in anger and wanted to throw his Chakrams at her. Christopher's inferiority complex is real strong. Good things he's not thinking straight.

"What are you doing being off script! This wasn't suppose to happen! It was the big day!" Rose shouted at Erica only they both understand. Christopher looked at them confused, forgetting his rage.

"Hahahahahaahhahaha!" Erica clutched her stomach in pain as she laughed hard. She stopped after a while and her eyes turned cold. "Sweetie, you know what I learned since I came to this world?" Erica then held her Kuragima tightly.

"I learned that hard work pays off, when you work hard you can ahieve your dreams, and that you don't own life. Life gives and takes and I'm willing to take you down if I want to live a life I want!" Erica then shooted and because the heroine is the heroine, she somehow dodged thanks to Christopher using his Chakrams and deflecting the bullets for her.

Erica tsked and continued shooting which he deflected. While they were fighting, they heard a groan in pain and looked over at the battle beside them. It was Harrison first that had fallen down.

"Oh no... go save him, Heroine..." Erica mocked but Rose glared at her and ran up to him. She tried to heal him but it was no use. The sword of Hades was powerful and light magic can't beat his powerful dark magic.

"Poor Harrison, totally didn't expect him to die~" Erica crossed her arms on her chest as she watches Rose try her absolute best to act like she was healing Harrison but she also knows that he can't heal him. "Watch out!" Robert then got stabbed in the stomach protecting Rose as she was busy healing. Robert looked at the dark double edged sword of Hades as it slides away.

"Noooo!!" Rose then changed places and tried to fake heal him but she knows it wont work. This wasn't suppose to happen. They were supposed to be the good guys. And good guys never die... Right...?

Christopher then decided to attack Hades but Erica wasn't worried. Erica walked towards Rose and then she saw her lips moved and her eyes were closed. Her hand that was holding the frost sword was holding Robert's hand and Harrison's head was on her lap. She was holding the staff intently and it looked like she found a spell to heal them.

"-Freeze her in place, >>" Rose then looked at Erica mockingly as a magic circle glowed under he feet and making her unable to move from her position.

"Oh no! What is gonna happen?" Rose's eyes twinkled as she looked crazy, she pointed her staff in Hades direction. "I knew you were diffrent so I had a plan, I found a spell to paralyze you so you can't stop me. Enjoy the show~" She then looked at Hades, she began to chant, she then aimed. ">>" And out came a huge beam of holy light coming in Hades's direction.

Erica could only watch and not move as she saw the scene in front of her. She couldn't scream or attack or even push him away. She could only watch. Erica saw the sword coming towards Rose. It was Hades's sword.

The sword stabbed Rose in the stomach. "Ughh..." blood spilled out from Rose's mouth as she collapsed. She was slowly bleeding out. Erica's paralyzed state was turned off thanks to the hit and she quickly ran towards Rose and pulled out the sword to make her die from blood loss faster.

She then hugged the sword and ran to where Hades and Christopher were fighting. There he saw Christopher, his eyes were closed as a circle of his own blood soaked his clothes. There was a huge stab wound on his chest from Hades's sword. They're finally dead! But Hades!

Erica then looked at Hades and saw him still breathing but his skin was like ashes paper. If a wind were to blow on him, he would disappear and turn to nothing but dust.

"Im so sorry, its all my fault, I should have ran to her and killed her quicker, now your dying." Erica cried as she laid Hades's head on her lap.

"Im sorry... I made you sad... and didn't make you happy enough..." He coughed out blood and he was starting to very slowly turn into dust.

"Shhh... just be quiet. Im happy that I married you." Erica leaned her forehead on Hades and smiled as tears drop from her face. Erica removed her forehead from his and looked into Hades's eyes.

"You... can stare at me all... you want... i'll let you..." He smiled. Erica laughed silently, pleading for him to survive.

Shinnggg!

Erica gasped as she saw a sword pierced through her chest until towards Hades's chest.

"You should have aimed for the head. And I guess you can die together too!"

"That line was copyright. How is this sword able to cut through my dress though? I thought it was suppose to be very strong armor. I guess everything you had was special." Erica didn't care anymore. Her breath began to shorten and her body felt cold. Erica looked at Hades and saw his chest, as his eyes widen from shock.

"Weren't you... just bleeding?" Hades asked.

"I saved my mana for this. I may have light magic but healing is Rose's main power if not light." Rose showed where she was stabbed and they saw no scar on her stomach.

"Should have known. I hope in the next life we never meet." Erica coughed and blood came out off her mouth.

"Yeah... don't have any more mana though. I'll be going to tell the world about your evilness though." Rose began to leave slowly. Erica then held Hades's sword and with the last of her strength aimed it at Rose. With the finishing touches she casted a fireball stronger than any fireball she had ever cast. All her feelings and emotions were thrown towards her at her last shot. She aimed and heard her scream in pain.

Erica smiled. To finally know that she's gone. Her body no longer recognizable and burnt to a crisp. But theres still one thing she has to do before she leaves.

She summoned her wand and removed her spatial ring. She then cast a spell. "Oh, god of messenger help me deliver, my dimensional space ring, to Takeo Yusahiro, the silver fox kin, >>" Once Erica finished chanting she looked back at Hades still breathing slowly. The ring was gone and she dropped her wand and leaned on his chest.

"I wish we could die at the same time. I heard that we would be reincarnated together." Erica whispered onto his ears.

"Im willing to spend my next life being with you." Hades smiled at Erica. They both closed there eyes and it seems that the gods granted their wish for their heartbeats stopped beating at the same time.
