Dinner with the Demon King -18

Erica's POV

'How the hell did I end up here?' I woke up suddenly to see myself in a bed, in a room, safe, clean, and pretty again without memories of what happened what so ever.

My head then started to hurt and mempries flashed through my eyes. I can't believe it. After fighting the Hydra, I fell asleep and was woken up by Takeo. I told him all about it and he was mad at me for not letting him help but I just laughed it off. We went to the last challenge to see the Sphinx greeting us.

The room suddenly turned into a game show and I was guessing riddles from my world as Takeo was guessing riddles from this world. We ended up beating it and I went to the next room and saw a shiny purple marble, sitting in a velvet smooth pillow. The I ask the Sphinx about it and it said that it was the weapon. It was capable of changing into any tool I needed for a day and that was all.

I laughed at how stupid I was to think there was no trap. Once I grabbed it and put it in my space ring, my whole body felt light and darkness swallowed me. I remember the faint voice of Takeo calling me but I lost concious before I could respond.

Now Im here. A knock, then the door opened and a maid entered the room. She smiled at me as she sighed for some reason.

"Hello. Im Selena Grace. Welcome to the Demon King's Castle. He has kept you captive here until he is ready. I shall be your maid for now to make you feel welcome, for the maids here are demons and we do not wish to make the new queen frightened." She said it like she practised it a million times. She sighed in relief as she gripped her skirt a bit.

I stared at her black and violet maid uniform, violet socks and black shoes. To her milky white skin, her emerald green eyes, her pink cute lips, and to her brown soft hair. She looked like in her early 20s.

"Are you by chance, from Earth?" I ask her. Her face, accent, and hairstyle was like from Earth that I couldn't help myself but say it.

"Oh- uh- yes! Are you from Earth too?" Her eyes showned in happiness and walked over to me. Her face was near my face that I couldn't help myself but to back away.

"Yes I am! How are you here?" I asked her as I put her down to sit on my bed.

"It's quite a long story... You don't look from Earth. You look like you belong here. How about you? How are you here?"

"It's a long story as well..." suddenly and cough interrupted our conversation and we both look over to the door and saw a woman with the same maid's uniform as Selena with her arms at her back like in a military. Her skin was black and her eyes were red with green cracks. Her hair was neon pink tied into a pony tail as her black lips turned into a frown. There were two large black horns on her head. She doesn't look young or old, just like an ageless being.

"Hello, I am the one who Manages the cleaning, cooking, and organization of the castle. I am Valencia Rīdā." She bowed elegantly and looked at us without a smile on.

"Hello. I am Erica Jane Bon Teligent. The prophesized new demon queen of the otome game..." I whispered the otome game part but Valencia heard it with her enhanced hearing and tilted her head slightly and looked at me with the same blank look.

"Otome game? What's that?" I looked at Selena for help but she just smiled bitterly at the word. "It's game from my world. You don't need to prepare it for her. They haven't invented it yet." Selena answered.

'Yes. Only Anime was created but It wasn't totally anime. It was more like drawings of real life people doing stuff. That's why I preferred reading books than watching their version of anime.' I also smiled bitterly as Valencia looked dejected and helpless.

"Im sorry future queen. It must be hard for you to go to another world so suddenly."

"No, it's alright. Don't need to be sad. Im now used to it. How old are you actually?" I ask her suddenly. My mouth just moved on its own. I quickly put my hands to cover my mouth.

"I guess it would it 256 years since I broke free from my shell. Im not really sure." She thought about it for a moment but suddenly a nother demon maid came running near my room and quickly knelt near Valencia's feet.

"Valencia, mam! A situation just occured! The kitchen couldn't prepare the food the king requested us to make. We were still learning the basics so we couldn't bake this 'cake' he mentioned." She cried as she wiped her tear with her hankerchief even though it was already wet.

"I-I'll help! I know how to bake a cake!" Selena suddenly said.

"NO!!!" They quickly shut her down. Valencia tried to sooth her down by rubbing her back. Selena sulked in a corner and mushroom began to suddenly appear. I laughed at the scene and felt nostalgia. It was like an anime. They were shocked to suddenly hear me laughed and it looked like question marks started to appear.

I stooped laughing and raised my hand, "Can I help?" The demon maid that just appeared and Valencia looked at each other.

"This was mean't to be a suprise for you per request by the demon king. Im not sure if he would allow it."

"Nah. Im sure he wouldn't mind If I cooked it for him. So where's the kitchen?"

They then led me the way as they ran as fast and quiet as possible while still running at my pace. There were many turns and stairs and everything was like a maze.

We arrived to see demons of many kinds, in shambles because the oven started to smoke. I sighed and opened the oven and coughed at the smoke. I quickly got an oven mit and grabbed the burnt cake and placed it on the table.

Everyone was now xonfused at my sudden appeareance and looked at Valencia for answers.

"She is the new demon queen chosen by the prophecy. She shall bake the cake for our king! Watch closely and learn." She said with an athouritive voice. I smiled and waved as the demons went in line and began cleaning the kitchen quickly for me.

Once they finished, I began to prepare the ingredients and they sometimes asked what it was since they still didn't know the ingredients. I began to cook and the silence was killing me so i hummed as I cooked as they watched me work, memorizing my movements and sometimes asking what I did. It was like I was in a cooking show.

I just removed the cake from the oven and looked at the demons who were impressed and suprised at the cake. I smiled smugly and laughed in the inside.

Once it cooled down, I began covering it with chocolate and voilá! Made a simple chocolate cake. Everyone clapped and thanked me as I waved and smiled. Valencia returned me to my room to see a dress in a hanger, hanging in front of a door that was open which lead to the bathroom.

"I guess, Selena has prepared your gown for tonight. She shall pick you up at 5:30 sharp to arrive at the dining room before 6 in the evening to have dinner with his majesty, the demon king. Please clean yourself up." She closed the door and left me alone.

I looked at my strapless, sweet heart, black gown that looked liked the night. Blacl and deep as the ocean but with stars that sparkled as it glitters as it moves.

I began to enter the bathroom to see that my scars were healed from fighting challenges after challenges to get the weapon. I looked at my ring and saw that the purple marble was there indeed. I began to strip off my clothes that I changed into when I killed the Hydra and began to clean myself.

I relaxed my whole body into the rose bath and thought of the game. So is this how Erica became the demon queen? It's probably only me since Im not sure Erica was told by Ellen to find the weapon. But Im not really sure. Not sure as well if the real Erica knows or is just like a brand new Erica, acting like in the script and not realizing that everything is just repearting over and over again. I hate not knowing things.

Once I finished bathing, I dried myself with the towel and started to dress my gown. The gown fits like a glove like it was mean't to be worn by me. I slipped on my black high heels and went out of the bathroom and looked at the table with a mirror with makeup and jewelry in boxes just for me.

I began to put on light makeup and wore a necklase with a heart design with a blue gem in the middle. I smiled and stretched my arms. I began to pull out my phone from my ring and began to watch some videos while waiting for it to be 5:30.

The sun was already sinking in the horizon which made me look over and watch the view. I opened the big eindow and looked at the view. A garden of flowers were planted there and with the sunset on the background, it was a stunning view.

Selena knocked on the door as I closed the window. I opened the door and she smiled at me and started to walk to the dining area. I followed and looked at the hallways we passed.

I arrived at a long table filled with candles and delicious cuisines and the cake that I baked was placed in the middle, below the hanging chandelier. There vases of roses making it look romantic and elegant. I sat in the other side of the table and waited for the demon king to arrive. Selena walked to the door and stood there, waiting.

I thought of what the demon king looked like in the game but the door suddenly opened. Think of the demon and he shall appear. He arrived right on time and once I saw him I quickly stood up and approached him. Hades?

He smiled at me when he saw me approach him. I punched his stomach and dragged him to his chair. Careful not to destroy his suit.

"Ow ow ow ow...." I made him sit down and squished his cheeks. They were suprisingly soft.

"What the heck!? Hades!? Your the stupid demon king? This is so stupid..." He laughed as I continued to squish his cheeks.

"Hello my future queen, I see that you have made me a cake!" He greeted me ehile I continue to squish his cheeks. Selena on the sidelines watching this was now suprised and started freaking out at what she should do.

"Hello Hades, turns out you were near me all along. Send me back to my world now!" I the ruffled his har and pinch his cheeks so that he may feel pain of my suffering. Stupid stupid stupid!

"Ow ow ow! We can't do that now! The real Erica is busy with something. We have to have her consent first before transferring your bodies." He quickly reasoned.

"And did you ask for our consent when you switched our souls!" I continued to poke him everywhere making him flinch everytime.

"Well well well! Brother! I see you found yourself a human!" Another demon that looked like Hades suddenly appeared behind me. I didn't even notice his presence until he spoked. We ignored him as I continued punishimg Hades.

"Don't ignore me! I am your brother-in-law is what you humans call it right?" I looked at him and give him a menacing smile.

"Im cirrently busy so may you please leave. This is a private matter and we don't need anyone bothering us right now."

He raised one of his eyebrows. "Is that the best you can do?" I can see sweat appear on his forehead but he tries to hide it.

"So what is your reason, huh!?" I ignore Hades's brother and tortured Hades.

"I-I'll explain! Let's have dinner first!" He waved at the table as I looked at the food that is starting to grow colder by the minute. A large growl was emitted and we looked over at the noise. It was Selena, and she blushed like a ripe tomato and tried to keep the nosie that her stomach made quiet. It didn't listen and growled louder.

"Let the 4 of us have dinner together then!" Hades's brother said.

"What's his name?" I asked Hades. "I'll tell you later." I sighed and moved my hand away from his face. Hades quickly held my hand and requested for a seat near him. A demon suddenly appeared carrying a seat and put it down. Hades stood up and pushedthe chair after I sat down. Hades's brother did the same to Selena but I saw his eyes were filled with love.

What a nice romance. We began eating after thanking the food that was given to us by the mother light and father darkness. The god and goddess of this world.

I suddenly saw a flash of white and darkness in the corner of my eye, a beutiful woman pure looking, white and holy that shoned brightly like the sun and a handsome god dark, strong, and powerful smiling at us like we were their children. It disappeared once I blink my eyes and they were gone.

We had a nice conversation and I was still mad for not noticing that Hades was the demon king who transported me to this world. But I guess it was okay since at least I got to experienced magic.

Earlier where Erica saw the two figures.

The goddess of light that saw Erica looked at us suddenly pulled her husband hidden in the clouds. She sighed in relief and hit her husband.

"We were almost caught thanks to you!" The god of darkness acted like he looked hurt and exageratted his expression.

"Ahh! My hand hurts so much! I think I need a kiss!" The god of darkness smirked and looked at the goddess of light with his eyebrows raised.

The goddess of light laughed and kissed where she hit him and hit him again on his lips but very lightly.

"Oh no! I guess your lips got hit. Let me kiss it to make it feel better!" She then kiseed him deeply and the god of darkness turned red at the teasing of his wife.

There will still be anothe update this week but I just wanted to update more because I didn't update last last week, and I wanted to quickly finish this story.

Why? Because I want to make other stories!

I have been inspired to create them and have been hoping to finish this.
