This is Berk

Third Person P.O.V

Hiccup rests peacefully, his mouth parted slightly as he softly exhales.

Toothless purrs lowly, sniffing at his friend with a light whine as he sits back up. He huffs lightly, softly growling to wake up his friend.

After a moment Hiccup stirs, making Toothless' ears perk as he happily rumbles. He nudges Hiccup's face as he groggily groans.

"Hey, Toothless," he chuckles weakly as Toothless eagerly nudges at his hands and face. "I'm happy to see you, too, bud."

Hiccup lets out a yelp of pain as Toothless stands on his rib, causing him to jolt fully awake and sit up, his eyes wide as he looks around.

"I... I'm in my house."

Toothless patiently sits in front of his bed, his body swaying happily as he smacks his lips.

"Uh... You're in my house."

Toothless leaps around, jumping from a pillar and knocking over the cooking supplies over a fire.

"D-does my dad know you're here?"

Toothless rushes over, sniffing at his hand as Hiccup continues rambling.

"Uh, okay, okay!" He pauses, groaning as Toothless leaps onto the upper part of the house, hanging upside down. "Toothless, no. No, Toothless! Aw, come on. Where's (Y/N)-- wait... (Y/N)!"

He quickly goes to stand, his movements halting when he notices something off. He slowly moves the covers, his eyes wide.

Toothless joins him with a small rumble, tilting his head as Hiccup softly exhales and lowers his foot.

He lowers the other one, revealing a metal prosthetic foot. Toothless sniffs at it, peering back up at Hiccup as he swallows thickly, rising with a sigh.

Hiccup takes a step, grunting as he limps heavily. He takes in another breath, taking another step and falling over with a yelp of pain.

Toothless quickly catches him, allowing Hiccup to use him for support as he helps him stand.

"Okay... Thanks, bud," Hiccup softly says, limping forward with Toothless at his side.

Toothless' tail swishes lightly, revealing his missing tail-fin, Hiccup's missing foot on the same side.

Hiccup braces himself, grunting as he struggles to open the door before gasping and slamming it shut at the sight of a Monstrous Nightmare.

"Toothless, stay here."

He opens it again, revealing Snotlout on the back of his Monstrous Nightmare.

"Come on, guys! Get ready!" Snotlout laughs, helping some of the others learn to fly their dragons. "Hold on tight, here we go!"

Toothless watches with perked ears, remaining put as Hiccup staggers forward a few steps, his eyes wide at the sight of dragons everywhere.

"W-what?" He stammers, watching a few Nadders on a nearby rooftop.

Hiccup yelps as (D/N) suddenly appears at his side, his tail wagging happily as he nudges the boy.

"Hey, (D/N)," Hiccup laughs as (D/N) nuzzles his cheek before joining Toothless, the two playing with one another.

He watches them for a moment before jumping as the sound of a bowl clattering could be heard, water pooling around his feet. He looks up, gasping softly when he sees (Y/N) standing a few paces in front of him, her eyes wide and her hand limp.

Hiccup's eyes flicker to the large scar across her arm, his eyebrows furrowing in concern.

"(Y/N)?"

She quickly blinks, shaking her head as she races forward, tightly hugging him as he grunts with a laugh.

"You're okay! I'm so relieved!" (Y/N) laughs, pulling away before quickly kissing his cheek from happiness.

Hiccup stammers lightly, rubbing his neck with an awkward laugh. "I knew it. I'm dead."

Stoick lets out a laugh as he approaches the two, wrapping an arm around Hiccup and patting his shoulder.

"No, but you gave it your best shot," Stoick grins, gesturing around. "So... What do you think?"

"Hey, look! It's Hiccup!" Someone yells, causing a crowd of people to eagerly rush up to meet the three.

"It's Hiccup!"

"Turns out... (Y/N) was right. We all needed a little more of... This," Stoick gestures to Hiccup.

"I think I said a lot more of this," (Y/N) teases, pointing to Hiccup as Stoick chuckles.

"You just gestured to all of me," Hiccup mumbles, Stoick smiling and nodding in response.

"Well, most of you," Gobber joins, making (Y/N) snicker and shake her head. "That bit's my handiwork," he points to Hiccup's foot. "With a little Hiccup flair thrown in. You think it'll do?"

Hiccup peers down at it, humming in thought.

"I might make a few tweaks with (Y/N)."

The crowd laughs, (Y/N) grinning widely as Hiccup bashfully smiles back.

He yelps as Astrid suddenly punches his shoulder, making him grip at it in pain.

"That's for scaring me and (Y/N)."

"W-what?! She scared you, too!" Hiccup whines, rubbing his arm.

"I already got her back," Astrid smirks, making (Y/N) shudder as she lightly rubs her arm.

She looks back at Hiccup before sighing, hugging him once more as he hugs her back with a soft laugh.

"What? Are you always gonna hug me now? 'Cause--"

(Y/N) cuts him off by placing her lips on his, the Vikings (Mostly Gobber) 'oooh~'-ing at them. Hiccup's face turns a bright red as he nervously smiles, grabbing her hand.

"-- I would much rather kiss you." He finishes his sentence, making (Y/N) laugh and lightly kiss him again, Astrid smiling and nodding at the two.

They pull away as Gobber offers a new tail-fin for Toothless, made by him and (Y/N).

"Welcome home."

(D/N) roars playfully, quickly shoving past the crowd as Toothless pursues.

"Night Fury!"

"Dark Angel!"

"Get down!"

Toothless jumps along the Vikings, lunging and tackling (D/N) as he whines playfully, lightly smacking at him as (Y/N) and Hiccup laugh.

...

Hiccup sets his prosthetic foot in place, nodding as he tests the new bright red tail-fin. (D/N) joins his side, (Y/N) smiling widely at Hiccup as he grins back.

"You ready?"

Toothless snorts in response, Hiccup smiling and pausing to look around.

"This... Is Berk."

Vikings and dragons bustle through the town, all joyously getting along.

"It snows nine months of the year and hails the other three."

Toothless takes off flying, (D/N) following closely as (Y/N) cheers with a laugh.

"Any food that grows here is tough and tasteless."

Astrid laughs as she joins the two on her Nadder, playfully running into (D/N) as he playfully roars and pushes back.

A Viking nearly chokes on his drink as Toothless swoops by, making him chuckle and shake his head.

"The people that grow here are even more so!"

Toothless lets out a roar as he leads (D/N) and Stormfly, making Hiccup cheer with a grin as they fly over the Viking ships.

"The only upside-- besides (Y/N)-- are the pets."

The three fly along the overhead docks, Fishlegs joining with his Gronckle Meatlug.

"While other places have ponies or parrots..."

His Gronckle slams into the wall multiple times, remaining unphased as she happily follows Toothless.

"We have..."

Snotlout joins on Hookfang, grinning at his other friends as they fly together.

"Dragons."

Toothless and (D/N) spiral around one another, flying towards the sky with roars as (Y/N) and Hiccup laugh and cheer.

Blargh there are so many grammar errors in this book-- one of the reasons I took so long getting this up was because I was tryna fix them ;_; But I gave up and just began to copy and paste the chapters quickly just so I can get this up for you guys.

I have to remember I'm going to revise these anyway so spending hours fixing bad grammar and adding details is pointless HEHE
