Chapter 767
His unwanted wife, the world’s coveted genius

His words were hard to believe.
âItâs definitely livelier with more people, right, Belinda?â Johnson smiled at Vincent and then turned to Belinda, sending her a quick wink.
Belindaâs smile was barely there, and she didnât reply. She simply grabbed her luggage and headed toward the resort.
After they all checked in, it was almost time for lunch.
They soon made their way to a restaurant.
At the restaurant, Lucas took the seat right next to Belinda.
He leaned toward her, his voice low. âBelinda, are you upset that Iâm here?â
Belinda gave him a lazy sideways glance and replied coldly, âWhat do you think?â
Unfazed, Lucas responded, âEven if you are, Iâm not going anywhere.â
Belinda was rendered speechless.
She glared at him, thinking he was utterly shameless.
âI just want to be near you,â Lucas said with a smile.
Belinda wasnât interested in continuing the conversation.
But then, Lucasâ voice dropped. âThereâs been some movement on Minnaâs end.â
Hearing that, Belinda immediately turned to him, waiting for more details.
Lucas didnât hold back. He leaned closer to her ear, whispering, âSomeone is secretly helping Minna.â
Lucasâ warm breath brushed against Belindaâs ear, sending a slight, ticklish sensation through her.
Belindaâs body stiffened for a moment, but she quickly regained her composure and pulled back slightly. âWhy do you think that?â
Lucasâ eyes narrowed as he replied, âMy people were tracking Minnaâs movements, but some of the footage of her was deleted on purpose. It seems someone doesnât want us to find Minna.â
Belinda was caught off guard for a moment and was about to speak when Johnson spoke up, his curiosity piqued. âWhat are you two whispering about over there?â
Without any hesitation, Belinda replied, âWeâre discussing matters about Minna.â
Bethany raised an eyebrow, a trace of curiosity crossing her face.
âMinna? Whatâs going on with her?â
Belinda quickly filled her in about what had happened.
Bethanyâs face shifted to one of concern after hearing that. âBelinda, doesnât that mean youâre in danger now? It sounds like Minnaâs going after you next.â
A tense silence fell over the table, and everyone exchanged glances, their concern for Belinda palpable.
Lucas spoke up, his tone serious. âIâve already arranged for some bodyguards to protect Belinda.â
After a brief pause, Johnson said, âYou mentioned someone is helping Minna in secret. Could it be her father?â
