Chapter 745
His unwanted wife, the world’s coveted genius

When Catherine heard that, her expression shifted immediately. âIâll be there shortly,â she replied without hesitation. âWhere are you?â
âHapper Restaurant, private room 16,â Belinda replied.
âUnderstood,â Catherine said before ending the call.
Belinda placed her phone down and raised an eyebrow at Bethany.
Bethany smiled faintly and gave her a thumbs-up.
Catherine arrived soon.
âBelinda! Bethany!â Catherine greeted them, still catching her breath from her hurried journey.
âLook at your brotherâheâs completely out of it,â Belinda remarked, gesturing helplessly at Johnson, who was slumped over the table.
Catherine pressed her lips together, her expression complex as she took in the scene. âIs Johnson like this because of me and Leland?â she asked.
Fearing that Catherine might uncover something deeper than they intended to reveal, Belinda quickly responded, âYes! He is distressed because he wants you to witness Lelandâs true nature. He is merely worried about you but doesnât wish to intervene in your affairs; so instead, heâs drowning his sorrows.â
Bethany nodded vigorously in support of Belindaâs words. âExactly! Catherine, Johnson genuinely cares about you.â
Catherine gazed down at Johnson with softening eyes and said, âI know. Johnson has always been caring toward me. I am always aware of thatâ¦â She turned back to Belinda and Bethany, determination in her voice. âCan you assist me in getting him to my car?â
âSure,â Belinda and Bethany replied in unison.
Johnson was heavily drunk, but after some effort, they managed to rouse him slightly.
âCathyâ¦â Johnson mumbled incoherently as he clung to Catherine.
âIâm here, Johnson,â Catherine said gently. âLetâs head home.â
After getting Johnson into the car, Catherine took the wheel and drove away into the night.
Since neither Belinda nor Bethany had consumed alcohol during their time at the restaurant, they drove home separately.
At the Burke familyâs residence, the door swung open with a gentle click.
Hearing that sound made Minna shudder slightly.
âDarling,â Moshe said as he entered the room, carrying an air of curiosity. âSomeone sent you two rather fascinating text messages. Take a look.â He placed Minnaâs phone before her on the table.
Minna turned to look at her phone.
But the instant she looked at the screen, her expression transformed dramatically.
