Chapter 641
His unwanted wife, the world’s coveted genius

ââ¦do something for you to make up for this. Itâs the least I could do. Please, give me the chance to make things right.â
Belinda replied, âAlright, if I need your help, I wonât hold back.â
Darwinâs lips curved into a faint smile. He found himself liking Belinda more now. If she had brushed him off or rejected his offer, he would have been disappointed in her.
After a brief pause, he said, âI wonât let Minna off easily this time. Sheâ¦â
Belinda quickly interjected, âNo, no, no, Mr. Lambert. Please donât get involved. If you do, it will only complicate things further. If you interfere, it will only make Minna more unstable. She might do something even more extreme. I appreciate your good intentions, but I can handle this matter myself.â
Darwin sighed, realizing the truth in her words. âYouâre right. I didnât think it through. Iâm sorry.â
Belindaâs lips curved into a small smile. âYour intentions were good,â she said.
Darwin opened his mouth to respond, but before he could speak, the door to the private room suddenly flew open.
Both Belinda and Darwin turned toward the door. Minna stormed into the room, her bloodshot eyes blazing with unrestrained fury. Her eyes were swollen.
The moment her gaze landed on Belinda sitting beside Darwin, her rage ignited like a flame. Her stare was searing, filled with raw hatred, as though she wanted to tear Belinda apart with her bare hands.
Darwinâs expression turned cold in an instant when he saw Minna.
âWhat are you doing here?â he demanded.
Darwinâs brows furrowed with impatience the moment he laid eyes on Minna. He made no effort to hide his disgust, leaving her heartbroken.
Minna walked over and glared at Belinda. âYou should leave now!â
Belinda remained seated, completely unfazed by Minnaâs outburst.
âShe is my guest,â Darwin said firmly. âWhat makes you think you have the right to boss people around? If anyone should leave, itâs you!â
Minna bit her lip, her eyes already welling up. âDarwin,â she said in a pleading tone, âcanât you be a little nicer toââ
âSay what you need to say,â Darwin interrupted coldly. âIf you have nothing else to say, you should get out.â His disdain for Minna had only grown after he had learned of her evil intentions toward Belinda.
Minna looked back and forth between Darwin and Belinda. After a moment of silence, she decided to bite the bullet. She looked at Darwin with pleading eyes and said, âDarwin, could you⦠Could you please marry me?â
Belinda couldnât help but raise an eyebrow when she heard that. Of all the outrageous things Minna could have said, she had never expected this.
She had to give it to Minna; she was audacious. Darwinâs face immediately turned cold. He let out a derisive snort and said, âIn your dreams.â His tone was dripping with mockery.
