chapter 2
CONQUERED BY MY FIRST CRUSH
CONQUERED BY MY FIRST CRUSH.Chapter 1 :Hai, I am Alekhya. I have been working as a software engineer in a recently upcoming company, Harsha Technologies, for the past one year. After completing my engineering,I got the campus placement at another company. Once I had a decent experience in the work, I applied for this company and immediately got appointed after completing all the interviews. I have a very good pay and a comfortable environment with my colleagues here.I have everything in my life, parentâs love, wealth, fame, friends and now a good job, which pays me well enough. This is the life every person dreams of but still I have an incomplete feeling which could not be fulfilled in my lifetime. Though I have everything,I still feel hollow in my heart missing something which will make me complete. This emptiness could be filled only with his presence, who is my first crush. Usually it is said that we come over the first crush as it is an infatuation and move on with the new one. But my first crush conquered my heart, making me stick to him for my lifetime. Though I tried to move on with someone, I remember him for every second and failed miserably to succeed in the new relationships. He is the one who devours my heart, invading my personal space, not allowing anyone to enter into my life. His name is Sriharsha, whom I met when I was about to join the higher secondary school. He had completed his higher secondary school and was trying to get into a good engineering college. After learning my first crush name, you can instantly realize why I am working in Harsha Technologies. My friends treated me as an insane person when I left my job in an MNC company and moved to the new upcoming one. I have joined this company only to feel his name as I couldnât win him. I donât know who the founder of this company is, but the name tempted me to move to this company. I felt like I was in the arms of Harsha after joining this company. You may think of me as a crazy love sick person but you will understand me only when you fall in love with anyone unconditionally. It makes us do crazy things.I still remember our first meeting as if it happened yesterday. Every moment I spent with him, Every incident I came across with him, every memory of him was very fresh in my mind as if it happened just now.Come and travel along with me in the journey of learning about my first crush with Harsha. Once you know my story you can decide whether I am crazy or a sane person fully drowned in oneâs love.It was the day of my birthday and my mother Gautami woke me up early and helped me to get ready earlier. After performing the pooja, my parents blessed me for a good future and showered me with their gifts. I am the only daughter to them. My father Vivekanand is a small businessman in the town and we are having a good reputation in the town.Once we had our breakfast, my mother gave me a box containing the cake and sweets, and asked me to give it to our neighbor who had come as a tenant in our opposite house on the previous day.My mother is a very friendly woman with a good heart and helping nature. I admire her for her demeanor which we couldn't see in the present society. She makes the strangers' friends very easily and she had already communicated with our new neighbor and become friends.I am not an introvert but not even so friendly like my mother. I will take time to become friends depending on the character of the other person. If the other person reciprocates the same,I will go to any extent to keep my friendship.I donât like to meet new people alone but the information my mother gave me attracted me to their home. Their daughter is my age and is going to join our school in my class. So I thought of fulfilling my mothers wish to go and give the sweets on my birthday to take the chance of meeting that girl.*****Hai Readers, on the occasion of my wedding anniversary, I published this short story for earning the gold badge from Prathilipi.
