CONQUERED BY MY FIRST CRUSH.Chapter 15 :I fell to the ground on my knees unable to carry the overwhelming emotions that occupied my heart. I covered my mouth with my palms to stop my sobs which were trying to escape from my mouth while my eyes were continuously shedding tears with happiness of my dream coming true. No word was coming out of me as if I forgot all the alphabets of every language that exists in this universe when my friends Karan and Sarika tried to speak to me. They knelt on either side of me and tried to console me for my outburst due to the overwhelming feelings that surrounded me. All the agony which I buried beneath my heart came out like a lava from the volcano making my heart lighter by removing all the weight I was carrying all these years.The atmosphere had become so silent though all the staff were present watching me releasing all my agony. Only my sobs were reverberating in the hall and suddenly my sobs stopped when I heard the voice which I was yearning to hear for a long time. I stood like a statue without turning my head or my eyes towards the direction of the voice as if I was afraid of losing him once again turning it into a dream in my sleep.“Lekha …!”.I don’t have any strength even to stand on my legs feeling heavy with all the overwhelming feelings that were surrounding me. I wanted to raise my head and look towards the direction of the voice but my fear took the control of me and didn’t allow me to dart my eyes towards him.After a few seconds, I could see a pair of feet a few steps away from me.“Don’t you want to look at me or don’t you want me to see you for keeping you away for all these years?”, a question came from him while his voice was tinged with  pain.I slowly raised my head examining him from his toe to slowly moving upwards till I reached his face. He was no more that young teenager but turned into a handsome and well built grown up man who looks like a model with his tallness, perfect muscled body, the same eyes which makes me drown into them, the thick mustache symbolizes his manliness and totally gives the impression of prime example of masculinity"I kept staring at him, unable to take my eyes off him, getting attracted to his charms which were so magnetic. His form is like that of an enthralling majestic statue which made me keep staring at him without blinking my eyes.Harsha knelt on his one knee and stretched his right hand towards me which was holding a bouquet filled with all types of flowers making it colorful.“Lekha! My love! Would you give me a chance to show my love towards you? Will you give me the honor of pampering you with my love and admiration for the rest of our lives? Would you give me a chance to prove myself worthy for you?”queried Harsha, with hope filled eyes.I kept numb without uttering a single word, being dazed with the moment which I had been dreaming of for a long time. My eyes kept pouring out like a stream unable to bear the contentment which filled my heart. My body has become numb, making me unable to move even a single finger of mine.I came into my senses when I was jolted back and forth by Karan and Sarika who were yelling with happiness.“Alekhya! Speak out something. Come out of your daze. Your man has come like a charming prince to confess his love which can happen in movies or stories. What a lucky woman you are. Give a response to him. Come on Alekhya. This is the moment you are waiting for a long time. Your dream has come true, you are going to fulfill your dream. Come on, respond to him. Tell him that you love him”, Sarika and Karan yelled with their deafening voices.I glanced at both of them who were encouraging me with a broad smile on their faces and darted my eyes towards Harsha who was looking at me still kneeling on his leg. I can see the puzzle expression on his face of my decision and the fear of my denial.A small smile appeared on my lips which was visible to Harsha and a broad smile appeared on his face, feeling delighted by seeing my smile. He immediately rose to his feet and reached me to carry me into his arms. I was startled by his sudden action and screamed in fear. But he took me into his arms and hugged me tightly by balancing me in the air. I was totally clinging on to him with my legs dangling in the air.“Lekha! Thank you. Thank you very much for accepting me. Though I behaved like  a jerk running away from you, you gave me the chance of proving my love. Thank you very much. I love you”, with the overwhelming emotions of happiness, agony and being distanced for a long time, Harsha hugged me very tightly as if he is not allowing even the air to come between us.“I LOVE YOU LEKHA! I LOVE YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. I KEEP LOVING YOU FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. I WILL NEVER FAIL YOU FOR SELECTING ME IN YOUR LIFE”.Glancing into my eyes deeply, Harsha promised me with utmost sincerity and devoured my lips for a kiss. Feeling astonished for his action initially, I later reciprocated the kiss. His kiss was so dominating, showing his love, his agony for being away from me, his possessiveness, his longing for me and mostly his sincerity in his love.We came into our senses by hearing the great applause of the people who surrounded us. I felt very embarrassed to lose my rationality, behaving so intimacy with him in front of all the people. I lowered my head and hid behind him feeling shy to look at the people.Harsha chuckled at my behavior and crossed his hand across my shoulder and took me into his arms and announced addressing all the employees.“Hello friends! She is the love of my life and my dream girl who is going to be my better half within a short period. You all are invited for my wedding and wish us with your heartfelt blessings which can give us a successful and happy marriage life. This is invitation to one and all personally from my end. I am addressing each and every staff of this company including the cleaners and maids working here. Everyone is my family whom I wish to see on my wedding with the love of my life”, announced Harsha.He turned to me and with a mischievous smile, he queried,“are you ready Miss. Alekhya for getting engaged with me?”.I gaped at him in astonishment for his words and rebuked,“Don’t play games with the traditional matters. Without my parents consent I am not going to take any decision”.“Oh what a joke! You didn’t think of our consent while falling in love with him but for getting married you need our acceptance?”.By hearing my fathers voice, I was scared to death and immediately hid behind Harsha feeling nervous to face them.“I am sorry dad. I value your decision which made me to forget my love and agreed to meet the groom you have choose for me”, I answered letting them  know my importance towards them standing behind Harsha.“Oh my darling! Don’t be afraid of us. Come to us. Don’t you want to see  us  after this long time”, I heard Harsha’s mothers voice which made me peek through his shoulder to see all his family members.I immediately ran towards Roshini whom I missed a lot and we both hugged each other as if  no one can separate us.“Why didn’t you keep in touch with me” I queried after breaking the hug.“Sorry yaar! I lost my phone and  I couldn’t get the backup. Actually there was a theft in our house and all the three of our mobiles got lost. Sorry for not being in touch with you”, apologized Roshini.“Okay! No problem. At last we got to meet after a long time”, I exclaimed.Later I went to Aunt and Uncle who took me into their embrace and shed tears for me going through such a torment all these years because of Harsha.“Darling! Never give him a chance to be out of your sight. You tie him to your saree pallu and keep him running behind you like a puppy. This is the punishment for him”, exclaimed Uncle.“I will feel very honored if she do so. It will be my pleasure to  trail behind her for every second”, replied Harsha very enthusiastically which made me blush hardly.Everyone laughed for his excitement and ushered us for the next step in our life which I didn’t expected. My father came near me  an by crossing his hand across my shoulder, he  questioned Harsha,“Young man! Are you ready to  get engaged with my daughter?”.“Uncle! I am always ready for it but let me get the consent from her. Lekha, will you get engaged to me right at this moment”, queried Harsha.I gaped at them in astonishment for the sudden surprise and darted my gazes towards all the family members being perplexed.“Sweetheart! We have already decided your engagement  with Harsha to be held once he proposes his love in front of all the people. All these  arrangements are not only for your birthday but also for your engagement. He wants to make this special for you by  arranging it on your birthday as you people met on your birthday for the first time”, explained my father, understanding my puzzlement.I glanced at Harsha with listening eyes who made  my day special with his reentry in my life and also  tying ourselves traditionally to be  together forever. My heart filled with content by the overwhelming emotions which were brought by Harsha’s presence and went near him. He took me in his arms, understanding my emotions and stroked my hair very gently while promising to keep me happy forever.“Lekha! I promise you keeping happy for every second even though we go through ups and downs. I promise to be with you in all your steps of  success, failure, good, bad and grow older along with you being a good husband to you and a great father to our children. This is my word to you”.I shed tears for his commitment and hid my face in his chest  to cover my tears from everyone. Sarika and Karan reached me and wished good luck for succeeding in my love. I can see the happiness and joy in Karan’s eyes for achieving my love at the end. I tried to apologize to him but he cut off in the middle.“Alekhya! Don’t feel sorry for me. I am very happy for you in getting your love. Your’s is a true love wich made you reach him though you people were away from each other for a long period without knowing your feelings to each other. I feel proud of your love”, turned towards Harsha and said,“Congratulations for your success! She is very precious  to me. Keep her happy forever. Never try to hurt her. I will come for her rescue if you try to do so”, he threatened Harsha.Harsha’s face filled with different colors by hearing his words which made us laugh out loud. Later everyone gathered in the hall and took their seats. We were ushered towards the dais which was decorated very beautifully with different flowers making the atmosphere very pleasant.The moment which we  have lastlonged for all these years has come true  and we exchanged our rings in front of our family members and the  staff members receiving their wishes. Our marriage date was fixed after fifteen days from that day and we happily got married in front  of the world feeling delighted for our  union.At the first night the first question raised by my Harsha was why didn’t I allow anyone to date with or to be in a relationship when I was not sure of his feelings towards me.I gave him a short kiss and replied which made him devour me throughout the night taking me to the heavens.
