“There is no hatred between parents and children overnight. If the children are too stubborn, it’d have to be the parents to take a step back first and give the children a chance to come around. Wouldn’t you say, Boss Fang?”

Sun Mei didn’t say anything else. To be precise, she still wasn’t certain about where Fang JunRong stood when it came to Li ShiZe even though she could tell that Fang JunRong doted on her daughter more.

“ShiZe can be said to be the most accomplished child in our circle. If I can have a son like him, I’d wake up laughing. Boss Fang did a great job on him. And he is also very caring to his parents. He’s pretty much perfect.”

Also, he did a good job at being born to a good family. His parents were divorced, but both Li WangJin and Fang JunRong were extremely wealthy, especially Fang JunRong as of late. Thinking that someone like him would become her son-in-law made her ecstatic.

“My son?”

Fang JunRong smiled and said in a nonchalant voice, “I think there has been some misunderstanding. I do not have a son. So he has nothing to do with me.”

Liu Zhu, who had a whole spiel prepared, looked like she was being choked by invisible hands. Her eyes widened, and she looked bewildered.

“Of course, if you like him so much, you can always adopt him and enjoy how caring he is. I don’t think Li WangJin would mind that there will be more people doting on his son,” said Fang JunRong as she gave the stunned Liu Zhu a big smile.

Sun Mei, too, was happy. She chimed in from one side, “That is right. Let me know when you make it official. Do invite us to the ceremony, I will for sure bring a gift. That being said, families like us can’t just say we are adopting a child verbally. You better make sure that he will inherit his fair share in the future.”

Fang JunRong wasn’t going to miss the opportunity to rub it in. “Yes, I will bring my Beautify Pills with me when the time comes.”

She wouldn’t give away any for any other circumstances. As much as the Beautify Pills wasn’t all that difficult to produce, she still didn’t want to give them to someone like Liu Zhu.

She turned and walked out of the patio without giving Liu Zhu one more look. With Liu Zhu there, even the air in the patio was dirty. On her way out, Fang JunRong didn’t forget to tell Sun Mei, “Come over to my place in a couple of days. I’ll give you a few more boxes.”

Sun Mei broke into a smile right away. “Okay!”

Sun Mei couldn’t help but asked softly, “But what has Li ShiZe done that made you so mad at him?” Fang JunRong had always had a mild temperament.

Fang JunRong had no intention to cover up for her BBQ-pork son. She said nonchalantly, “When I found out that Li WangJin had cheated on me and condemned Jiang YaGe for helping with covering it, he sided with Jiang YaGe and chastised me. Later on, after he had moved away and bought a new house, he even let Li WangJin’s lover moved in with them.”

Sun Mei had been thinking that Fang JunRong’s behavior was a bit on the radical side, but after hearing what she said and putting herself in Fang JunRong’s shoes, she could relate to that and was infuriated immediately. “Good job! If it was me, I would disown him too!”
