I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 360
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 360
âAlthough a great author like Jane might be able to pull some strings, sheâs nothing before the big investor. She stands no chance against the Sheffyns,â Tatiana thought.
Suddenly. Xavier slapped her so hard that her face swelled almost instantly.
Tatiana cupped her cheek and looked at Xavier in disbelief.
âHow dare you insult Bonniel Xavier was onraged. After getting on Bonnieâs wrong side from the street racing incident, he had to work his ass off to redeem himself. Additionally, one of his companyâs hired celebrities was foolish enough to offend Bonnie,
âSince youâve offended Bonnie, Iâll do as she said and ban you from the entertainment industry.
âWâWait, no!â Tatiana shook her head in shock.
Xavier turned to the guards behind him and barked, âWhat are you waiting for?! Drag her out of the film set immediately!â
âRight away, Mr. Xavier.â
The guards approached and grabbed Tatiana by both her arms before dragging her out. She kicked and screamed, âNo! Mr. Xavier, you canât ban me from the industry!â
As her voice grew distant, Xavier turned to Bonnie and said, âI apologize for that. It seems one of my foolish celebrities has troubled you.â
âA celebrity like her just gives the whole industry a bad name. Itâs a good thing we banned her from the industry,â Bonnie said indifferently.
âYouâre right. Donât worry about Tatiana. I wonât let her find her way back into the industry.â
Bonnie told Xavier and the director, âThat reminds me. There might be some issues with the novelâs adaptation.â
The director respectfully said, âPlease tell us your thoughts and opinions, Ms. Bonnie, Weâll work it out with the screenwriter.â
Bonnie took the script he held and said, âYou removed one of the characters from the novel. Although she might seem like an insignificant character, sheâll advance the plot and become an integral part of its
climax.
âIf sheâs not on the TV adaptation, itâll create a plot hole. Besides that, the lines you revised donât reflect the male leadâs character. Youâll ruin his whole arcâ¦â
âOh, so thatâs how it is. That explains why it felt weird to me when I got the script. Please, carry on, Ms. Bonnie. I must know if anything else contradicts the novel.â The director spoke to her like a student asking for a teacherâs pointers.
Xavier was shocked as he asked Orpheus, âI know the director very well. Heâs as stubborn as a mule and wonât let me interfere even if I want to. Iâm not exaggerating when I say he wonât compromise his work,
even if someone held a knife to his neck. I wonder why heâs so obedient toward Bonnie.â
Orpheus proudly said, âOf course he is! After all, Bonnie is the author of the novel that inspired this TV drama. Why wouldnât the director listen to her?â
Xavier was puzzled. âAâAre you saying Bonnie is Jane Austin?!â
âIn the flesh! Not many can hope to compare to Bonwick.â Orpheus lifted his chin proudly.
Although Xavier might have been at the top of the food chain and had experienced many things, it did not mean he was not shocked by this revelation. Not only was he astounded that Bonnie was Jane Austin, but she was also the nationâs leading researcher.
Xavier had met many highly talented people, but most were exceptional at only one thing. On the other hand, Bonnie found time to be the best street racer and novellst.
âJeez, I canât believe Bonnie has yet another identity. Does she have more identities than I know of?â
Meanwhile, Orpheus swelled with pride when he saw how surprised Xavier was. The former said, âThatâs right! Bonwick is no ordinary woman. I can tell you another secret, but you canât tell anyone about it.â
