I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 111
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 111
Bonnie noticed the incoming slap and stepped back to avoid it. She then said, âI remember first going to the countryside. You slapped me then because Trina framed me for pushing her down the stairs, even though she did it on purpose.
âAt that moment, I swore to myself that it would be the last time I let Trina set me up. I decided that no one could slap me if I didnât do anything wrong!â
âThatâs outrageous! What did I do to deserve someone as heartless as you? Youâre such a sorry excuse of a daughter!â Vera was exasperated.
Harold stared at Gresham bitterly and roared, âItâs bad enough that Bonnie embarrassed herself, but she made such a huge mess of Trinaâs engagement party. Everyone will laugh at us over this!â
Yolanda had also grown sick of Bonnie. âI told you sheâs a country bumpkin! You can try to teach her all you want, but nothing will help. Good on you for not listening to me. Take her back to where she came from. Take her as far away as possible.â
Gresham sighed, approached Bonnie, and raised his hand.
âWhat, are you going to slap me too?â Bonnie stood her ground indifferently.
Floyd was worried about how things would turn out and quickly texted Ivor to tell him about everything that was happening there. Ivorâs expression grew grim when he read the text and replied, âVideo call me now.â
âRight away.â Floyd made a video call, and Ivor accepted it.
Almost immediately after, the latter understood the situation. The entire Shepard family had pitted themselves against Bonnie. They were frowning at her as if they could not wait to get rid of her.
It was a heartbreaking sight for Ivor.
Gresham stared at Bonnie solemnly. âYou have one last chance to apologize to Trina. If you refuse, Iâll disown you!â
âYouâve never treated me as your own to begin with.â Bonnie stared back at him defiantly.
âWhy, you-â Gresham was outraged. âIt seems you refuse to apologize, after all. If you donât give a damn about your status as one of the Shepards, then suit yourself. From now on, the Shepards disown you. Crawl back to the countryside and live the rest of your life with your pathetic foster parents!â
His words upset Bonnie. She retorted, âWatch your tongue! They might be from the countryside, but you donât have the right to insult them. Although my parents were born and raised there, theyâre down to earth and have worked tirelessly their whole lives.
âThey did everything to provide for their kids selflessly, unlike you. You merely care about your damn reputation.â

Vera roared, âIs that the way to talk to your father, Bonnie? Youâre such an outrageous and rebellious child. Karma will get you one of these days!â
Although you guys are my birth parents, it doesnât mean you can do whatever you want to me. You canât just humiliate me and punish me.â Bonnie swept her gaze across Harold, Yolanda, and the other Shepards.
She added, âI know all of you want to get rid of me. You think I brought shame to the family. Youâve wanted to chase me out long ago, especially Grandpa and Grandma. You asked me to put in another request with Orson because you tore up his painting, but I turned you down.
âYou two have detested me even more ever since. What happened today is simply the last straw. I knew you guys would think Iâm a bad fit for the family. Well, the feeling is mutual. Iâm more than happy to cut ties with the family. I want nothing to do with you all!â
âFine then!â Harold slammed his cane. âIt doesnât matter if you thrive or fail in the future. Get out of my sight now!â
He was confident peace would return to his family once Bonnie left.
Trina barely stifled laughter. She knew she would no longer have to worry about losing her status in
the family. Still, she thought it was a shame as a life without Bonnie would be mundane.
Even so, Bonnie remained unfazed, saying, âItâs decided, then.â
She turned and barely took a step when she heard Haroldâs voice from behind her, âI want you to
make an official announcement on Twitter, Gresham. Let everyone know that weâve disowned Bonnie. I donât want her future debacles to drag our familyâs name through the mud.â
The guests felt a shiver down their spine at what he said.
After the announcement, Bonnie was no longer associated with the Shepards. From that point, nothing she did could reverse it, even if she fell on her knees and begged for Haroldâs mercy.
