Chapter 117
Lolaâs POV
Have you ever had one of those days where you just want to stay in your room and avoid everyone? Well, that was me for the rest of the day. I couldnât bring myself to leave the safety of the room, so I spent the rest of the day cooped up in there.
However, I knew I had to think of a way to get out of there, so I opened the door, hoping that Buff would not be outside my room.
Unfortunately for me, he was still standing there and looked at me when I got out and asked if I wanted anything.
I told him that I was hungry and my maid wasnât around to get food for me. He looked at me skeptically but he did what I said anyway. Immediately I saw that he left to go and fetch Fay, I slowly wandered around the building to survey which escape routes were around and how tight security might be.
I was about to open a door when a rough hand suddenly pulled me back. âWhat do you think you are doing? Where are you going? Why are you wandering around?â He asked me rapidly. âYou told me you wanted me to fetch your maid for you and here you are wandering around. What do you want my king to say when he doesnât find you where you are supposed to be? He said angrily and his face looked like it was about to burst into flames.

door slowly. âJeez, calm down. I was just trying to know my way around this place. What has got your panties in a twist? He looked at me like he wanted to say something but he decided against it. He only pointed in the direction I was coming from.

âWhat is the escape route like? How can we get out of here? Iâve done a httle bit of research myself but I do not know if weâre going to be able to get out without any help. Do you know anyone that might be willing to help us? I asked her rapidly.
âJeez, calm down. I can barely hear you with the way youâre rushing to speakâ, she said and I took a deep breath to calm myself.
âIt turns out that we are so close to our pack. This place is just a 3 hours drive from our pack but it is heavily guarded by the magical powers of Alysia. Without another magical power to counter it, nob*dy will be able to locate this place. People can leave the pack but nob*dy will be able to find it. That is probably why no one has been able to find out where heâd be all these whileâ, she said and I looked at her in shock.
âIt makes sense now. I mean we searched high and low when the overall attacks started and nothing was foundâ, I said and she nodded.
So Alysia was the one behind the whole thing. I made a mental note of that and then proceeded to ask her about how the escape might be when weâre leaving. I already planned that weâd leave in a day or two and we needed to draw out a map on how to leave without being discovered.
âThis place is heavily guarded. I donât think youâll be able to make it out of here without hurting some people or if things go south, getting killedâ, she said. âI?â I looked at her like she was crazy, âweâll be making it out of here together, Adrian and the whole pack will understand and forgive you when I explain everything to themâ. I said but she shook her head in disagreement.
âEverything comes with a price and Iâll be willing to pay thus cave it would be the only good thing I did for the packâ, she sand and held my hands in hers âSee to save all of us, you have to make it out of bec alive and Iâm willing to put anything on the line for thatf So, tomor night weâre going to get you out of hereâ, she sand and I pulled her mo a hug.
âIâll do everything in my power to make sure that we both make it out of this hellholeâ, I told her She looked at me and pulled me into a hug âYou are an amazing person, you know? Youâre real and Iâm glad I finally got to see past my hatred for youâ, she said as she patted my

âWeâll need to take a walk so I can show you the areas that youâre going to be passing when you are leaving the packâ. With that, we stood up and went out of the room. Buff looked at us suspiciously but we paid no attention to him.
âWhere do you think youâre going? Did you take permission from the king?â He asked me. âI donât need permission every f**king time before I moveâ, I snarled in his face. âIâd be your queen in a matter of time and you have to respect me. If he actually looks for me, tell him that I went on a walk with my maidâ,I told him. And with that, we walked past him.
We walked the pack grounds and she subtly pointed to places where weâll need to pass when we escape this horrible place.
Damon called when it was time to have dinner and I parted ways with Fay. Throughout the course of having dinner, Alysia gave me look that could kill. She was all lovey and touchy with Damon and I was very grateful to her for that because it gave me a chance to stay out of his way and he didnât touch me all night long.
After dinner, I went back to my room in anticipation for whatâs going
to happen tomorrow. Iâll get out of this pack and then make sure that
Damon and Alyssaâs plan come to naught.
With that thought on my mind. I fell asleep.
