Ch.57 Epilogue 2 - The Accidental Weddi...

AfterÂ a few months

Aarav's POV

We thought that handling twins would be more difficult than what we experienced while raising Advik. We got lucky this time as Sanj would sleep at night without any fuss. On the other hand, I still had to go through my share of sleepless nights as Sanvi was not ready to sleep on some days staying awake and wailing all night. Sachi would try to stay awake with me but I use to let her rest as she would not go to anyone while crying other than me. Sachi is right she is moody like me. I was very happy when she would get calmed only by me but it is not an easy job. It all depends on her mood. Right now Sanvi was crying, and I was trying to calm her in the living room. I have a meeting tomorrow. I can rest only after she sleeps.

"Bacha please be quiet. Please go to sleep even dada wants to sleep." I tried to make her stop but failed. She finally slept at 3 am. I went towards our room and placed her in the cot. I lay down on my side of the bed. Sachi's sleep got disturbed because of my moments, and she woke up.

"Did she sleep?" Sachi asked in a sleepy voice. I simply nodded my head.

"Good Night." She said and kissed my cheek. I finally fell into a deep slumber.

I entered my room and saw Sachi sitting on the bed with Advik and Sanj on her lap and Sanvi in front of her sleeping on the bed.

"Mumma, he is so cute. Look how he is smiling. He is growing so fast, but I don't want him to grow so fast. Stay like this only. Please." Advik said to Sanj and kissed him on his cheek. Then he looked at Sanvi.

"Please, you grow up soon." He said. Sachi started laughing at this statement.

"They are twins. If she will grow then he will also grow up." She said, and he frowned.

"She has to grow up. She has to stop crying whenever she sees me. She treats me as if I am a bad person. I am her older brother, she should play with me, smile at me, but all she does is cry whenever I am in her presence." He said and huffed. I entered the room and went near them. He finally noticed me and got happy. Even Sanj made some baby noise.

"Is everything ok? Why did you come so early today" Sachi asked with concern.

"I am tired, and I missed you all." I said and sat beside her. Advik came and sat on my lap.

"Do you want coffee?" She asked me, and I shook my head.

"I just want to spend some time with you all." I said and was about to touch my back on the headboard when Sanvi started crying.

I picked her up and tried to calm her. But she was not ready to stop wailing more loudly with each passing second. I told Advik to get up so that I could walk around with her. I placed her on the bed again, and Advik got up. The moment Advik got up she stopped crying.

"She was crying because Advik was on your lap." Sachi said laughing softly.

"Oh! Hello. He is my dad before you and also Sanj is older than you we have more right on him as you are the youngest." He said to Sanvi and then looked at Sanj and Sanj nodded his head as if he was understanding everything that Advik spoke.

Sanvi again started crying. I picked her up, and she again stopped crying. I looked at Advik and he was frowning at me.

"I love you." I said, and he smiled brightly. He got up and hugged me, leaving space between us. Sanvi again cried. My goodness. Advik broke the hug.

"I also love you." I said to her and she also started smiling.

6 years later

Aarav's POV

Mahek just now called to inform me that she and Rachit are on their way. We haven't seen each other in almost a year. Rachit has been busy with tournaments, while Mahek has been working on her internship.

"Jiju and Di, You have no clue how much I missed you." Mahek exclaimed and hugged both Sachi and me.

"What a delightful surprise. Why didn't you let me know you were coming? I would have gone out of my way to pick you up. I had been asking you to come to see us for a long time, but you never did, and now that Rachit has arrived, you have shown up." I stated that and was acting sad.

"Jiju. You're aware of how hectic my college and internship schedules are. I'm only able to come here now since I'm on study leave and my internship is done. I didn't come since he was present." Rachit frowned as she said it.

From their rooms, the children dashed down the corridor. Sachi yelled for them to take it easy.

"Rachit Mamu," they yelled. Sanvi was overjoyed to see him again. She approached and hugged him. Sanjh and Advik both hugged him. But as soon as they saw doll, their joy knew no bounds. Both are their favorites, but doll comes out on top.

"How long have you been here, Masi? We miss you terribly." Sanvi and Sanj hugged her tightly and murmured something.

"I've been thinking about you, Doll. You didn't even seem to miss me." Advik said as he moved closer to her. Sachi approached him and twisted his ear.

"Can you tell me how many times I instructed you to call her masi?" Sachi spoke sternly.

"Di, please don't twist his ear; it's probably hurting him." Doll pleaded and then Sachi walked away. Doll kissed Advik on the cheeks and hugged him.

"I missed you the most, baby. How are you doing?" She stated that with a big smile on her face.

"I'm good; in fact, now that you've arrived, I'm even happy. Please don't call me baby; otherwise, others will assume I'm your boyfriend. I don't mind if you want to be my girlfriend; however, you must wait; I can be your boyfriend after a few years."

"What?" yelled Rachit. He had a shocked and enraged expression on his face. The past is repeating itself. He's feeling the same way I did after witnessing my wife holding him and calling him baby. Rachit, on the other hand, was completely unaware of what he was doing, while my child is not at all even close to being called innocent. Looking at Rachit's expression makes me want to giggle so much.

"Someone is getting jealous. I can sense him smoldering with rage "I said to Sachi in hushed tones.

"Yes. Take a look at his features. I'm not sure when he'll realize his feelings." Sachi commented.

"Mumma, I, too, would like to go on a date like Masi." Sanvi made a naive remark. "What?" Rachit and I both screamed at the same time but for different reasons.

"No. I am not going out on a date." Doll spoke out, but her face was tense.

"Masi, don't be a liar. I overheard Mumma saying on the call that you're going on a date with someone." Sanvi mumbled, and everyone turned to face Sachi.

"I was simply teasing her, asking if it was a date, but she replied it was just a friend. She is just going to her college party with him as a pair." Sachi remarked.

"Show me a picture of him. Let's see if he's attractive or not." With a smirk, Advik said.

"He must be insane; after all, which reasonable man would agree to accompany her as a couple?" Rachit remarked. His jealousy was evident in his statements. Someone is enraged, yet he is still oblivious of his sentiments.

"What exactly do you mean when you say that no rational man will accompany me? Do you realise there are a lot of guys that are not just willing but keen to go on a date with me? He is not dumb, for your knowledge. He is extremely intelligent and accomplished, as well as the kindest guy I have ever encountered. Understood." She stated this while clenching her teeth. Rachit became enraged when he heard her. Her words hit him like a ton of bricks. His knuckles grew white as he clutched his wrist so hard. He appeared to be on the verge of killing someone, or more specifically, the person with whom doll was going on a date.

"Masi, show his photo." Sanvi murmured something, and doll took out her phone and showed them a picture of him.

"Masi, you are quite lucky. He is quite attractive. I hope I could go on a date with someone as attractive as him." Sanvi uttered a nostalgic remark.

"What?" Everyone yelled.

"You are never permitted to go on a date with anyone." All the boys in the room nodded in agreement as I stated it.

"But why?" she inquired, a frown on her face.

"It's because you're young." I said.

"So that means I'll be able to go when I'm older," she said.

"No!" I screamed. What's the matter with her? Advik was already planning to get us a daughter-in-law as soon as he can I didn't expect my daughter to follow his path.

She responded stubbornly, "But I want a boyfriend."

"You're just six years old, dammit. Where are you getting all of this information?" I said getting frustrated.

"Enough. This is something we'll discuss later." Sachi said this because she knew that if we chatted any longer, we'd end up arguing.

"Tell us a little bit about him, doll. You're going to a party with a guy who isn't your date, but you're going as a pair with him "With a smirk, Advik remarked. What school did he go to where he learned to sneer like that? He's asking her on purpose. He can read what is going in a persons head. He is purposely making Rachit jealous.

"Can you tell me what you're asking for?" She whispered something.

"He's curious as to whether or not you like that guy. Is there a chance he'll become a member of our family?" Sanvi interjected herself within their talk. Sanvi's statements drew a nod from Advik. Rachit interrupted doll before she could respond.

"Di, I'm starving. Can you fetch me something to eat?" he said aggressively, dragging Sachi with him.

"Let's go get something to eat because it's noon now," I stated as I led everyone to the dining table.

We all sat down, and Sachi and Rachit, assisted by the maids, carried all of the dishes to the table and placed them on the table. Everyone began to eat, and doll began conversing with everyone while Rachit was simply staring at her. Without his knowledge, his feelings shifted from friendship to love. Now all he has to do is recognize his feelings for her. But I'm not sure whether doll has any feelings for him other than friendship.

"Buddy During your time in England, did you fall in love with any British girls? You must have gone on a date with someone over there, right?" Rachit choked on his food after Advik said this to him. He returned to normal after coughing for a while.

"No, I didn't have enough time. I wasn't on a vacation. Buddy." Rachit remarked.

"So, if you had the time, you would go. That suggests you had a fancy on someone over there. Tell us her name, please." With the same sneer, Advik stated it.

He looked at him with wide eyes. This is something my son is capable of doing. He has the ability to render anyone speechless.

I could see doll glaring at him. Now it's clear that both feel something beyond friendship for each other. Let's just wait and watch who realizes and proposes first. Hopefully, they don't end up ruining anything. I could see both of them glaring at each other. I'm certain they'll argue as soon as they're alone together.

"Sit quietly as you eat." Sachi said sternly to Advik. Advik along with Sanj and Sanvi started eating looking straight down at their plate. Her one look and all three of them will shut their mouth. She is the strict parent, and I am the cool one. They will never stop their mischief when I am around and even try to get me involved in it. But they certainly know what can make me angry. It is because of Sachi's strictness they are so well behaved.

We ate our food and spend some time with both of them. Then they left to visit Rohit and his family. The kids went along with them.
