Chapter 54

Sachi's POV

"Why are we going to the doctor? I am fine." I said to him.

"Sachi. Enough we need to visit the doctor for the checkup. Now be quiet." He said and I kept a finger on my lips. He looked frustrated as I have been nagging him throughout the journey. I don't want to go to the hospital.

"Stop making that pout. Your cute face is not going to work. We need to visit your doctor." He said. I didn't even realize when I started pouting.

"You are very bad."

"I know."

"I hate you."

"I love you too."

"Why are you taking me today? We were supposed to go next week."

"Because you are very careless and not taking proper care." He said. I am worried if he comes to know my condition how is going to react. He knows about my morning sickness but, he doesn't know that I can't tolerate any kind of strong smell and end up vomiting everything. I don't know how he is going to react. He will not let me get up from that stupid bed for even a second. I can't lay on the bed for the entire time. God, Save me.

"Why are you fidgeting your hands? Why are you so nervous? We are just going to visit the doctor, not for police interrogation."

"I know," I said with a frown. He gave me a confused look. We reached the hospital. I got out of the car slowly and started moving inside. We entered the doctor's cabin. She looked at me and passed a faint smile.

"How are you, Mrs. Oberoi?"

"I am fine. I don't think this checkup was required."

"It is required. Your husband informed me about the morning incident." She said and I glared at him.

"I have already told you not to take any kind of stress. It is not good for the baby. If you continue to behave like this, it will add more complications to your pregnancy. I hope you are following your diet properly." She asked me and I looked everywhere except at her.

"Why are you not following the diet?" She asked sternly. Sometimes she is scarier than Aarav.

"It is too much for me. I am not even able to eat half what is mentioned in it." I could feel both glaring at me. I am so dead.  I wish somebody save me from their warth today. I will name my entire property on their name.

"It is not just for you. It is for the baby as well. You have to follow the diet properly. You are not allowed to stress over anything. I am writing some medicine for you to control your stress. I hope this time you will follow your diet properly and Mr. Oberoi please make sure of it."  She said sternly and Aarav nodded. She looks scary. My God! She can even beat Aarav in giving a death glare. I have never felt so scared by somebody's glare.

"I hope you will take more care of yourself from now onwards." She said and we left her cabin. I started walking fast trying to move away from Aarav. I stumbled upon something and was about to fall on the ground when Aarav came and caught me. He looked very angry.

"Can't you take care of yourself? Can't you be a little bit more careful? You are pregnant. What if something happens to both of you?" He said angrily. Tears started forming in my eyes. I didn't even realize when I started sobbing. Stupid mood swings.

"I am sorry," I said. I was feeling extremely guilty. I should have been more careful. I placed my hand on my stomach gently moving it in circles. His facial expressions softened and I was pulled by him into a hug.

"You know you are my life. I can't even imagine my state if I have to lose you. I just don't want you but also our baby to be healthy and perfectly fine. Why are you not taking proper care of yourself? You promised me that you will take care of your health. Now I am personally going to take matters in my hands." He said. NO! He is even worst than me when it comes to taking care of anyone.

"No-No. I promise I will take care of myself. You don't have to worry." I said to him trying to convince him. Please.

"No need to whine. I will just make sure you are following your diet and not taking any kind of stress." He said and I sighed in relief.

We reached home and were welcomed to the sight of Abheer tickling Advik. Now the home would be more cheerful. We went towards them and Abheer hugged me and softly asked me whether I was fine.  He gave Aarav a manly hug.

"Are you dating anyone Abheer?" Aarav asked all of the sudden. Abheer looked at him with an open mouth. I could see Advik smirking at Abheer. My little devil knows something. I raised my eyebrow and looked at Abheer. He just shrugged. Is he dating someone? What's the need to hide it from us? Abheer ignored the question and started again talking with Advik.

"Do you know who he is dating?" I asked Aarav softly.

"No. Mom asked me to ask him whether he has somebody in his life or not. The way he reacted I am not able to predict anything." He replied.

"I think he is at that stage where his relationship status is complicated." I said softly and he just nodded his head agreeing with me. We sat on the sofa and avoided talking about Abheer's dating life.

Mom came along with dad and sat beside Abheer and gave him an envelope. He opened it and frown looking at it. It looked like some photograph. Whose photo is it?

"No." He said and was about to get up. Mom hold his hand and pulled him back on his seat.

"What is your reason to reject this girl?"

"Her nose is too big." What the! Advik pulled the photo from Abheer and commented that she looked gorgeous and passed it to me. She is very beautiful. Why is he rejecting her? He doesn't have a valid reason unless he loves someone.

"Abheer" Mom yelled.

"Is this a joke to you? Are you testing my patience? I will kill you. You have been delaying this for the past three years. Enough of living this bachelor's life. If you don't select a girl that you want to marry this year, I will just arrange everything and make you sit in the mandap and get married to the girl that I will select for you." Mom said glaring at Abheer. Everyone looked scared specially Abheer.  She stood angrily and left.

"Dad" Abheer said with a sad smile. Dad got up and nodded his head at Abheer and went behind Mom.

"You have somebody in your life. You know, you can share everything with us." I said.

"No, it's nothing like that I just don't want to get married right now." He said and left.

"Do you know something?" I asked Advik.

"I may know something but I am not sure. I will conform first and tell you." He said and ran towards his room.

"He will not deceive his dear chachu." Aarav said.

"But he will not hide anything from me."

"You go and take some rest and don't you dare say no. I will wake you up when it is time for lunch. Now come." He said and dragged me towards our room.

"Now rest. I don't want to hear anything from you." He said sternly.

"Mr. Rude." I said and sat on the bed. I took my book and started reading it.

"Lay down and get some sleep."

"I can't sleep at this uneven hour then I will not be able to sleep at night. So be quiet." I said sternly and started reading again.

Aarav's POV

We just had dinner. I have to get this work done today or else it will just pile up and spoil my tomorrow's routine. Sachi lied on the bed and within a minute fell asleep. She was sleeping peacefully and smiling in her sleep. She looks so adorable at this moment. Just looking at her made me relax a bit. I just want to go and scope her in my arms but this stupid work is stopping me. I looked at her for some more time and then got back to work.

I was working with heavy eyes. I want to go and sleep but this stupid work is not ready to get over. I am tired and sleepy. Gosh. I closed my eyes to relax a bit. I felt a hand on my shoulder and opened my eyes. Sachi was looking at me with a small smile.

"Enough of your work. Now come and sleep."

"Only a few parts are left. It won't take much time. You go back to sleep."

"Look baby, your dad doesn't love us. He doesn't care that you are missing him. Come we will go and sleep." She said in a baby voice placing a hand on her stomach. Now I know how Advik convinces everyone for everything. He has learned all that from his mom. Convince will be a wrong word it's more like manipulate.

"Are you coming or not?" She said with a cute pout.

"Yes. You know how to make me say yes. Tell the truth that you are missing me and putting it on our baby."

"No only the baby is missing you."

"Is it so then my baby will understand that dad is busy right now and will not trouble you. My baby will not miss me now." I said placing my hand on her stomach and I could see her frowning. She looks too cute with that frown.

"Ok. Do your stupid work." She said and started moving towards the bed.

I saved all my work and was about to close my laptop. I looked at her and she was glaring at me. She came towards me took my laptop and placed it on the table and asked me to get up. She started pulling me towards the bed.

"I am missing you and I want you to sleep now or else I will not talk to you and throw you out of this room." She said in anger. I couldn't control my laugh. She looked at me and raised her eyebrow.

"Why are laughing?"

"Because you look cute when you are angry." I said and kissed her forehead and lied on the bed. She got out of the shock and came and slept beside me. I pulled her more close to me.

"You are very bad always teasing me." She said with a cute pout.

"As if you don't do the same." I said with a smirk.

"I will not talk to you."

"You will not talk to me. Oh, so there will be nobody to nag me every day. I will finally have so much peace. Oh my God!"

"I nag you?" She said looking extremely angry. My cute angry bird. I nodded my head.

"I hate you." She said and started moving towards the bed.

"I love you too. Now sleep. It is getting late. Goodnight." I said and again kissed her on her forehead.
