Chapter 49

Sachi's POV

After completing all the paper work. We came out of the orphanage and sat in the car.

"Where are we going now? Airport." I asked him.

"No. We are going to meet my dear brother-in-law. He told me that he wants to meet you and share a good news." He said.

"What good news? Is Aakriti Bhabhi pregnant?" I said and he started coughing and gave me a stern expression.

"Are you alright? I was just asking. You said good news so I thought." Me and my stupid assumption. Luckily only he is present here. If it was bhai and bhabhi here, they would have been so embarrassed.

"He said that he wants to tell you something regarding the case that you filled against your chachi and chacha." He said

"Good news that means they got caught. Really. Finally, they will get punish for the crime that they committed." I said. I was happy hearing it.

"We reached." he said.

We entered inside and everyone were they waiting for us. They all saw us and were very happy but soon their expression changed. They had a confused look as they realised that I was carrying Advik.

"Sachi Whose baby is this?" Kabir asked us.

"Our baby" I said and everyone were shocked and staring us.

"What!"

"Before asking any questions let me speak. We both have adopted him. He is our son Advik Aarav Oberoi." Aarav said.

"When did you adopted him?" Bhai asked.

"Today itself." We said.

"He is so cute and so small." Akariti Bhabhi said and I forwarded him to her but she refused to pick him.

"No. No. He is so small and delicate. What if I drop him?"

"Bhabhi you are so cute. Nothing will happen take him" Kabir said pulling her checks. What the!

"Sachi I want to talk with you. Come with me." Bhai said.

I followed him and we entered in his room. He locked the room.

"The police were able to collect the proof against them who killed our parents.

"So that means they are in jail right now." I said.

"No. When the police went to arrest them. They were trying to run away tricking the police. Your chacha ji died in the encounter but your chachi ji was successful in escaping the trap. Now police are searching her. They will catch her very soon." I was shocked to know about his sudden death.

"Sachi are you alright?"

"Bhai I know whatever I did it was right but after hearing about chachu's death I am feeling bad."

"No need to feel bad. They are paying the price because they committed that horrifying crime."

"Congrats to you. My little sister became a mother and I became mamu. I am very happy for you. Let's go even I want to meet my nephew."

We came out of the room and came in the hall. We moved towards everyone.

"He is going to be so cool exactly like his Kabir mamu." Kabir said looking at a sleeping Advik.

"No. No Kabir. I can tolerate if he becomes like any of his mamu but not you. I don't want my son to be dumb like you." I said teasing him.

"I am dumb? You just wait. I will not leave you today." He said and started chasing me.

"Bhai Bhai. Save me. See he is trying to hit your princess." I said hiding behind Bhai.

"Kabir Don't." Bhai said in stern voice. I showed him my tongue teasing him.

"You just wait. I will use my trump card now." He said softly only me and bhai could hear it. Which trump card is he talking about?

"Bhabhi. See your husband is threatening me your poor brother-in-law."

"Dhruv don't trouble him." She said still playing with Advik and bhai made an annoyed expression.

"When did this happen? How come you became her favourite?" I asked him as I was shocked with her behaviour.

"It is everyday scene. If I say anything to him, he will call his lovely Bhabhi." bhai said making annoyed faces.

"So, you don't listen to anybody bossing around everyone only Bhabhi can control you." Kabir said.

"And what about controlling her? She is always bossing around me. Who is going to do that?" Bhai argued.

"Don't say anything about my Bhabhi. She is the best." Kabir said.

"Ya Ya I know."

"You are just jealous that she loves me more." Kabir said and bhai made an annoyed face and went towards Advik. After seeing him go, we both just burst out laughing.

"What was that?" I asked him. I was very surprised seeing all this and also very happy. How did Kabir bonded with Aakriti bhabhi so much? As what Aarav told she isn't that kind of person who likes to bond with new people. She is very reserved and scared of trusting strangers.

"You know right. I just love teasing him and now I got such a nice chance. How can I waste it?" Kabir said with a naughty smile.

"I am very happy for you." He said and side hugged me.

"You are getting old. You should also get married soon otherwise nobody is going to marry an oldie like you."

"What the! Who is getting old? I am still the same handsome and eligible bachelor. Every girl wants to marry me. Ok."

"Was it a joke? Should I laugh? You need to improve the quality of your jokes."

"You just wait." he said and twisted my ear.

"Ouch! Ouch!"

"Say sorry."

"Sorry." He left my ear. We both were glaring at each other.

"Sachi. We need to go now. We have a flight to catch." Aarav said breaking our trance.

"Stay for sometime. Please. I want to spend some more time with him" Kabir said with a pout.

"Everyone is waiting for us specially for Advik. We will come back soon but now we need to go." Aarav said. We somehow convinced everyone for letting us go and left the place.

We reached home all through out the flight Aarav was very quite. He looked disturbed and sad. He was not even ready to have a normal conversation and was just giving single word reply. Something is running in his head. Is he angry on me?

We entered in and were surprise to see the hall decorated with balloons and lights and on the wall  a big welcome banner was hanged.  Abheer, Riddhima, Mom and Dad came towards us. Mom was holding a plate of aarti. She did our aarti and blessed us. She gave the aarti plate to Aarav and took Advik from me.

"He is so cute. I became dadi. I am so happy." mom said and after few minutes dad took him from her.

Both Riddhima and Abheer started fighting on who will pick him first.

"I am his chachu. I have more right on him. I will take him first."

"So what? I am Sachi's friend that makes me his masi. "

"I will take him first."

"No me. Uncle please give him to me." She said to dad.

"No dad. Don't give him to her. I am your son listen to me." They both were just lost and fighting forgetting about us. Soon Karan came and diverted our attention from them. He was looking at them and he was absolutely shocked seeing them behaving in such a way.

Dad came towards Karan and quietly handed Advik to him. Karan seemed to be overjoyed after holding him.

"I am so happy for you. I am very excited to spoil him. What is his name?" Karan said  a bit loudly. His words caught their attention towards him and they both finally stopped fighting

"Bro this is not fair. How can you come in between? It was my turn." Abheer said and was glaring at Karan.

"You both were busy fighting so why would I waste time because of you? From the moment Kabir told me about him. I was dying to meet him."

"Now give him to me." Abheer said and took Advik from Karan but surprisingly Riddhima didn't said anything. Everyone were looking at her except for Abheer as he was looking at Advik with a bright smile. She was fighting for so long with Abheer and now she has no problem if Abheer takes him first. Karan and Riddhima were  just staring at each other. Karan was looking at her and he clearly looked very sad.

"Riddhima look at him he is so cute. When he will grow up he is going to be so handsome just like his chachu. All the girls will have a crush on him."

"If he turns out to be like you, I am for sure nobody is going to have a crush on him."

"Baby don't be like your chachu. He is a complete idiot." Riddhima said and Advik giggled making loud sound.

"See even he agrees that you are an idiot." Riddhima said and Abheer started making faces. Everyone started laughing looking at his face.

"Rids yaar. You are my best friend. How can you say something like that about me? You love me yaar, How can you call me an idiot?" Karan was glaring at him. My stupid brother. I hope you realise soon otherwise your Rids is going to go with somebody else.

"Their nonsense fights are not going to stop. Sachi and Aarav go and freshen up. Till then we will take care of him."

We entered our room. He was still avoiding me. He took his clothes and was moving towards the washroom. I went towards him and stood in front of him. Is something bothering him? I need to talk to him.

Aarav's POV

"Sachi move aside." I said.

"No." She said.

"You angry on me?" She asked.

"No. Now get aside." I said firmly.

"Mr Rude is back that means you are angry on me." she said but I started going towards the washroom. He pulled me and made me sit on the bed. I tried to get up but she sat on my lap.

"Sachi. Advik is downstairs. Let's get freshen up and  go." I said.

"No. First tell me are you angry on me."

"I am not angry on you. I am hurt. Even after spending so much time together, I was not able to build the bond between us. I thought you trusted me with everything. I would be the first person to whom you would come if anything is worrying you but looks like I was wrong. You just thought that I wouldn't understand you." I said in a low tone.

"It is not like that I trust you. Please listen to me." I picked her up and placed her on the bed and left the room. I don't know why I am feeling so hurt. I am very happy that now we became parents but at the same time remembering that I had to investigate the matter just to know what was upsetting her is making me sad. I was not angry on her when we were back in Rajasthan but in the plane all the past moments were running in my mind. The way she was not herself for so many days and still kept everything within herself makes me upset. I know she was confused with her feelings. But shouldn't I be the first person to whom she speaks her heart out? When will I be the first name coming in her mind whenever she is confused or in trouble?

I saw Riddhima and Karan talking with each other. What is going on between both of them? Downstairs also they were talking through eyes. Karan left towards the hall. He looked frustrated. Riddhima was coming towards my direction. She saw me and gave me a bright fake smile.

"Why are you angry? What happened to you? You became a dad. Shouldn't you be happy?" She asked me making me shock.

"How did you come to know that I am angry?"

"You forgot that I can read people's face and know what is going in their mind. It is clearly written on your face that you are angry right now. Now tell me why are you angry"

I explained her everything from the time Sachi met Advik. she glared at me.

"You are mad. You are bigger idiot than Abheer. You again made her cry. I have never seen a duffer like you."

"Don't call me that."

"What else should I call you than? You think she didn't talk to you because she thought that you won't understand her." I simply nodded my head.

"She was confused about her feeling towards Advik. But at the same time she knew one thing that you would have agreed to adopt him even if you weren't ready to become a dad just because that what she wanted and it would make her happy. She definitely trusts you and knows you very well. She had so much affection towards Advik from the very beginning but still she thought about you. She thought about your feeling and emotions and kept your feelings above hers and all you do is hurt her. Duffer. Go and say sorry to her. Right now." She said and pushed me towards my room.

"What is going on between you and Karan?" I asked her and her expression changed.

"You shouldn't be bothered by it. Just go and say sorry to her." She said firmly and left. She looked a bit scary at this moment. Why the hell did I even ask her? I just hope everything gets sorted between both of them. She has always played a cupid's role in our story. If I am together with Sachi some credit goes to her as well. I want that she gets the love that she deserves.

I was standing outside my room. I didn't had the power to take steps to go inside. I was feeling very guilty. Whenever the matter is related to her, I always end up behaving like an idiot and end up hurting her feelings. I slowly entered inside the room. She was sitting on the bed sadly. As soon as she hugged me she rushed towards me and hugged me. I realised that she was crying as my shirt got slightly wet with her tears. I was patting her head and trying to calm her. Shit!

"Sachi please stop crying. I am sorry." I was feeling more guilty.

"I am sorry. It is not that I don't trust you. It is just that.........."  She was trying to say in between the sobs.

"I know. Please stop crying. Please forgive me. I am sorry." I said sincerely.

"Why are you asking sorry? It should be me. Please forgive me." She said breaking the hug and  holding her ears cutely. I took her hands in my hands and gently kissed her knuckles.

"You are not angry on me. Right? You know how bad I felt when I realised that I hurted you. I was disappointed with myself. Your silence was killing me. Promise me you will never ever stop talking with me no matter how much ever angry you are with me."

"I promise. I am sorry for hurting you." I said and she smiled at me. I placed my lips on hers and kissed her softly. She closed her eyes and circled her arms around my neck. She kissed me back. Tears were still flowing from her eyes. I promised to keep her happy and end up hurting her. No wonder everyone calls me duffer. I broke the kiss and wiped her tears and kissed her on her forehead.

""Please stop crying otherwise even I will start crying and trust me your Mr Rude doesn't look good while crying." I said in a funny way. She came closer to me and kissed me. We were both lost in the moment. Suddenly I heard loud sound of crying. She broke the kiss and started moving outside.

We came down and saw that everyone were trying to stop Advik from crying but he was wailing loudly. Sachi took him and moved a bit away from everyone and he stopped crying. I went near them.

"How did he know that you were kissing me and he started crying at the exact time." I said softly making sure that nobody hears us.

"If you behave like this how are you going to get a younger sibling." I said and Sachi smacked on my arm. Advik giggled and showed me his tongue. What the!

Hello! Guyssss...

I was not well and then my exams started. I was really busy with my exams.

Thanks for everyone patiently waiting for the update. Now only few chapters are remaining to complete this story.
