Unexpected Encounters
The player and the shy girl (english version)
"I'm holding back as much as I can, Emma." I look at him. He's a man; I know he can't resist someone who's making a move on him.
"Lucas, you don't need to wait for me. I might never fall for you. I might meet someone else; you never know."
"You're right, but it doesn't bother me. I've told you how I feel about you, and I won't be afraid if I get hurt."
I look at him and let out a sigh.
"We need to set a rule: I don't want us to kiss; just friends until..."
"I know," he says, looking at me.
"So we'll go out as friends?" he asks, smiling at me.
"Yes, but I'm treating."
"First and last," he says, looking at me.
"I agree," I reply and head to my room to get dressed.
I put on my blue jeans with a short white top. I search for my gray cardigan but can't find it anywhere. What the heck?
I go to Lucas's room, hoping he might have one to lend me.
"Lucas, do you have a gray cardigan?"
"No, I don't have one, but I have a hoodie if you want," he replies.
"Bring it to me," I say, and he opens his closet and hands it to me.
"Thanks," I say as he winks at me.
I go back to my room and change into Lucas's hoodie, along with my gray sweatpants and Air Force sneakers. I can smell his cologne; it's so amazing. Even though the hoodie is a bit big on me, I don't mind. I love the outfit. I walk to the mirror and take a photo.
I let my hair down and put on the hoodie. I step out of my room and see Lucas waiting for me.
I'm surprised and cover my face with my hands out of fear. He laughs and looks at me.
"You're silly," I tell him, and he laughs even more.
He's wearing black jeans and a black hoodie. It looks like it's going to rain today, so we both wore hoodies.
Lucas clothes
"It suits you," I smile at him, and he looks back at me with a grin.
"Where are we going?"
"Goodys!" I reply, and he raises an eyebrow at me.
"Are you trying to make me fat?"
"You won't get fat," I say, meeting his gaze.
"I thought friends don't give compliments."
"Only occasionally," I reply, moving ahead.
We get into the car, and he starts the engine. After five minutes, we arrive at Goodys.
We walk in and take a seat. "What are you going to get?" he asks, glancing at the menu.
"I'm having a club sandwich. What about you?"
"Me too."
We stand up to place our order. "Welcome!" says the woman behind the counter as she looks at us.
"What will you be having?"
"Two club sandwiches and two Coca-Colas," I say, and Lucas gives me a look. I know he's going to get annoyed since I'm spending nearly 15 euros, but I don't mind.
"Also, could we get two glasses of water, please?" I ask, and she nods positively.
We sit down, and he asks, "Why did you order Coca-Colas?"
"Because today, I'm treating you," I respond, and he frowns.
I take out my phone and start browsing. I get the urge to take a picture for my story, but I focus on him instead.
I snap the photo and upload it to my story. His phone vibrates, and he checks it.
"What did you do?" he asks.
"Check it out."
"Ohhh," he says, looking at the screen. He reposts it without writing anything. Good job, Lucas.
The lady at the counter calls us to pick up our tray. We both get up and grab our trays.
We sit at the table and start eating. After a while, we finish and head out to sit in a square.
I lift my hoodie slightly while sitting on the bench to adjust my pants.
I see Lucas sitting with his phone. My phone buzzes, and I check it to see Lucas's story, where he tagged me. Oh no, that's why he didn't write anything before; he wanted to post me on his story.
Anyway, I must admit he captured a great shot.
"Tricky," I say, and he smiles.
I get the idea to upload the photo I took earlier in the mirror.
Why not?

PeterYo Look changes!, @LucAs what did you do to her?
"You guys are crazy," I say, laughing.
"But for your first photo, Manu, you look amazing," he tells me, and I smile. "Honestly, I like this change in you."
"You're such a troublemaker! Ever since I met you, you've changed everything," I reply, looking at him.
"Is that a good or a bad thing for you?" he asks.
"Good-bad," I say, and he laughs.
"Shall we walk around the shops?" he suggests, and I get up from the bench.
We walk and soon see Lia and Lydia ahead of us.
Oh no, really? It can't get any worse than this.
Lucas looks at me. "Are you going to try not to pull her hair out?"
"I don't think so."
"Okay," he says, grabbing my hand to keep me from doing anything reckless.
