Chapter 16

The Alpha's Addiction [BxB]

His analytical gaze was marked on the back of Cyrus as he heads to his first class, it was fishy that the boy didn't get lost in the enormous constructed castle like school. Shane wondered about it.

Was he the reason we sniffed decaying werewolves all around the campus?

Then again auntie M could have given him a grand tour of the school grounds yesterday while we we're all outside...

She's smart enough not to allow young Rouges into Northwood; with Al and all.

He knows that his auntie Miranda was passionate about taking in any Strays, because it both gains more people to the Nightwalker territory and pack while saving leaderless packs from Rouges.

Though, this is a first time Shane thinks it's a mistake to take in some outsider.

The smiling young man happily greets and says 'good mornings' and 'hellos' to anyone who walked up to Shane, which were a lot of human girls and female werewolves; even the ones with mates.

Shane appreciated all of the students who approach him; being a role model.

It's too much of a coincidence that he comes along and this miserable smell...

Moon goddess, what is wrong with me? I don't even know the newbie that well yet and I'm already judging him, dang it.

Maybe I'm wrong, and I'm too paranoid about this over-thinking he's a Rouge.

Waltzing into the same classroom as Cyrus did, the salute and smiles of girls and guys welcomed Shane. Giving out high fives and waves to everyone as he sat in the front row, Shane always liked listening to the teachers and learning a lot. Even though the Younger Alpha took advance classes with the senior students, it doesn't hurt to go back and refresh his mind to his current lessons.

Then the teacher, a middle aged woman who is a Delta werewolf; Mrs. Briston, comes in through the doorway and asks everyone to settle down accordingly.

Shane's also really fond of Mrs. Briston, she doesn't make much of a big deal that he is in her class, treating Shane like any other regular student of hers.

"Good morning class, today we'll be having somebody new join us...?" She scans the room and sees Cyrus at the very back slouching. "Ah---you. Please, come up and introduced yourself."

All heads glance at him.

Cyrus suddenly jerks his head mostly frightening the woman and the whole class including Shane, he was...scary.

Shane could feel this grieving energy that casted itself around Cyrus and it becomes known when he stood up.

That Shane was right.

He was a walking doomsday.

There's seriously this disaster he felt.

Going to the center front of the room Cyrus had he's abyss eyes to the ground. "Um...go ahead; tell us your name. I also heard you're our scholarship student."

Everyone watches on waiting for him to do something outlandish, like slam up someone's head to the chalkboard and write his name using the victims blood.

Cyrus only nods and walks to the board, where he picks up a chalk then writes with grace. But the way it shrills in the students and Mrs. Briston ears caused them all to cringe in torment, Shane too can't deny he's eardrums are bleeding.

"Alright! Mr. Cyrus...?" The teacher looked perplexed. "Wait, no surname?"

The class turns to her thinking she was demented to ask Cyrus to write more, though they were all spared when he shook his head and strides back to his seat in the back. Passing Shane's seat.

What... Shane stilled in his chair.

Spotting on the Black dog tag resting on Cyrus flatten chest; he's...a Zeta rank.

The most hazardous sector.

"Okay...let's get start---" The hinges of the classroom door got damaged as this crashing thud kicks in their door, then most of the students frantically stood up straighter than poles; except Cyrus.

Boots adorning heavy crunching steps echoes throughout his sharp hearing.

Cyrus doesn't even pay attention at who marched inside as his onyx pupils went to his desk, anyone who enters like that late into a class isn't worth standing and saluting for, not for him.

Not to mention it's dishonourable.

(Mushu voice: Dishonour to his cow!)

The Alpha's towering height and body of an Adonis muscular built surprised the people in the room. His piercing amber irises goes to Cyrus, then at his younger brother Shane who's just as bewildered.

"Shane, get out. Now."

"W-wait, what? Why? This is my f-first period." Shane stammers as Al frowns.

"Wanna limp out instead?" Although he won't actually do anything, Shane knew Al probably had a hidden reason to do this, he always had something he hides.

Shane sighs. "Fine, I'm going."

Once Shane left with his belongings and Mrs. Briston being handed a note from Al the class finally began, though Cyrus hadn't looked up from writing. He just listened to their teachers voice discuss on, as Cyrus wrote down notes onto his old reused notebooks he had saved.

Al sat at the position Shane sat down previously and shamelessly fell asleep during the lesson, while Mrs. Briston was there talking. His obnoxious snoring  resounding all the way to where Cyrus is. He bit his lip very annoyed.

So Al kicked Shane out of this class and he just SLEEPS throughout them? What a lazy piece of shit. Cyrus thought.

"Does anybody want to try solving this problem? Hm?" Mrs. Briston inquiries. Several hands go up but she decided it be great to let the new student answer.

"Cyrus, care to accept the challenge?" She tried sounding like a millennial.

He stills and actually looked up.

Smiling she encourages with her eyes however in order to answer, Cyrus has to speak...then he remembers he had the small white board and markers.

He hurriedly got to it and everyone eyed the new meat strangely thinking in their heads {The hell, for real?} and {Can't he just say it?}, {What a dweeb carrying his own white board!} Al then wakes hearing all of the thoughts via his mind link to every werewolf students.

Al snarled to this. YOU BITCHES WANT TO HAVE YOUR ASS-WIPE TONGUES SLICED OFF!? HUH!? WE'RE TRYING TO SLEEP! PISS OFF! Grim furiously roars to everyone in their mind links who made insults of Cyrus refusing to talk. They all groaned and shut up their opinions. Al grins. {All your opinions suck. I'll kill ya if I hear more yapping!}

He shows his answer to the class.

Mrs. Briston lights up. "Wow! Correct Cyrus, guess I'll be resigning soon. You gave a much more detailed solution than the one I was using too." He then scribblers. "No, it was nothing ma'am."

Cyrus sat back, unaware of The Alpha who defended his precious mate baby.

Even when Al's head was buried in his biceps and nobody could see his smirk, The Alpha is thrilled to have bought the things Cyrus needed to not force him to speak, it made Al excited that he would be the only soul to hear the mute boy's intoxicating sexy voice in the whole school---world. Grim and him alone.

Al's secretly growing possessive; fast.

Grim walked in his footsteps smirking.

The two having the same thoughts too.

Cyrus appears emotionless and cold the kind that makes him impeccable, he's also sensitive to touching like he'd evaporate to anyone doing so. Cyrus is kinda nuts because he challenges an Alpha's authority. And perhaps, there maybe a softer side Al hasn't seen yet.

Al chuckled. Yeah, like Marshmallows. And what goes really great with that?

Grim laughs. You fucking serious Al!? You want to give Cyrus a pet name? Al, you don't do pet names, why start now?

He's our mate Grim, Cyrus has to have a pet name that identifies him as ours. Al lifted his head and glanced behind his board shoulders, staring at the boy.

Rocky---

Fluffy---

Fluffy?

Rocky?

...No. Rocky.

...No. Fluffy.

Rocky.

Fluffy.

Rocky!

Fluffy!

ROCKY!

FLUFFY!

Good thing the two were bickering to themselves and the pack didn't hear it.

----------------

Shane went to self study in their library instead when Al kicked him out of his favourite class, saying he can't be anywhere near the scholarship student Cyrus.

Al always does to Shane.

Keeping him in the dark; ignorant.

It hurts because they should be a team.

Can't I just be his equal for o-once?

I'm an A-Alpha too, aren't I?

We're brothers. B-But...

Shane was biting on his nails as he feel his chest tighten and tears prickle the corners of his eyesight, he was having an emotional meltdown now. Great.

The Younger Alpha paints in hiccups breathing, bursting into a run for the men's restroom, Shane can't be weak.

Securing himself inside.

Shane takes his medication.

----------------

After his classes that day, Cyrus walks into their dorm and was going to start on his homework before dinner time, when he saw something on his desk.

It's the complaint paper he made.

The drawing he crafted to show his situation was facing Cyrus however...

At the bottom right someone wrote.

Sorry.

Cyprus's onyx irises glitter in thought.

Taking the tiny greeting card that came with the paper bag he kept inside his pocket, Cyrus then places it besides the report paper along the word 'Sorry'.

An identical handwriting.

Author's Note :

I. Can't. Even.

Grim and Al's argument over Rocky vs. Fluffy pet name for Cyrus had me peeing my pants, it was hilarious! wrapping this up at 7am And my poor innocent can-do-no-wrong baby Shane is upset, I'm sorry my Choco. Thank you for your comments and votes my puppies it makes author happy!

For those wondering, a Zeta is the Pack Warrior closest in strength and ability to the Alpha though they are like Generals and are the front liners ready to fight in every battle field. They are trained to fight and kill for the pack.

Oh and Al apologises via the most tiniest way he can but for me it's not enough! I wanna see him On. His. Knees. Kneel! (Pft-I sound like Loki now) though for the meantime it's all what we're getting from our prideful and possessive Alpha.
