Chapter 65
Spoiled by the President
Lily gave a frightening look. âYou!â
The man with her came forth. Curious, he asked, âA friend of yours?â
Having blown her top, Lily took him by the arm and accused Nell in an aggravated voice, âIâm not friends with her! Thomas, I bet you donât know her!
She is the forsaken daughter kicked out by the Jennings.
âNot only did she steal my boyfriend, but she also stole her sisterâs work to get into the Royal Academy of Arts. You best stay away from a shameless woman like her! Donât be taken in!â
Thomas Lindbloom was surprised.
His grandfather was the head of the Royal Academy of Arts.
Although he did not see it with his own eyes, he was no stranger to the scandal five years ago.
Thomas had always thought that the person who did such a thing must be ugly inside and out. It never occurred to him that it would be this seemingly distant and graceful lady.
Nell curled her lips and smiled.
âIf I remember correctly, there must be a surveillance camera in this store, right?â
Lily was on high alert as she cast a gaze at Nell. âWhy do you need to know?â
âNothing, Iâll need a copy of the surveillance footage as proof to sue you for slandering.â
â...â
âNell, donât play pretend! I heard that Jason dumped you because you couldnât keep your hands to yourself! You must have done some gold-digging to be able to study abroad five years ago. Did you return with a tail between your legs because your sugar daddy left you?
âItâs alright. You can tell me if he ditched you. I know quite a few generous wealthy men. I donât mind lending you a hand, seeing that we were classmates.â
Nell glanced at her and sarcastically curled her lips.
âThereâs no need for that. You should keep those generous wealthy people for yourself, Ms. OâHare! After all, itâs difficult enough for someone of your looks to befriend them. Isnât it a waste to give them to someone else?â
âYou!â
Lily was ballistic but as Nell could not be bothered with her, she carried her purchase and headed out.
âWait a minute!â
Lily suddenly called out to her.
Nellâs patience was running thin.
Turning to look at her, Nell coldly replied, âWhat more do you want?â
Lily took a deep breath and approached her. Suddenly, she let out a wicked smile.
âNell, did you know? Thereâs one thing Iâve been itching to do since five years ago but I never had the chance. Now I finally have the guts to do it.â
âWhat...â
âSmack!â
A clear slap tilted Nellâs head to the side. The right side of her face swiftly swelled up.
Her face washed in icy cold temperature.
The next second...
âSmack! Smack!â
That was two blows.
Holding her face, Lily looked back in disbelief.
âNell Jennings, how could you?â
âIâm just paying back the favor. Although humans canât bite back when a dog bites, I always believe that some animals canât be spoiled. They canât even remember their name if you spoil them.â
âAHHHHH! You b*tch!â
Lily charged at her like a mad bull. The sales clerks in the store were dumbfounded, at a loss whether to call the cops or pull her back.
There was a hint of coldness in Nellâs eyes.
Taking a step back, she chided, âMr. Lindbloom, are you going to allow your companion to go mad in here?
Thomas returned from his senses and came forth, putting a restrain to Lily.
âLily! Enough!â
âDonât stop me. This b*tch hit me, I wonât let you get away with it today!â
Lily shouted while trying to break free from Thomas to pounce at Nell.
Nellâs face saw a change of emotions.
The dress she had on today, would not gain her the upper hand if they engaged in a catfight. Anyone in their sane mind would back down with Lily wanting to come at her like a mad dog.
Nell retreated towards the exit.
Having lost her mind, Lily picked up a vase by the door and smashed it towards her.
âB*tch, Iâm going to get you!â
It was then when someone grabbed Nell by the wrist, pulling her aside.
Nell escaped by the breadth of her hair. The vase went past her and shattered on the ground.
Everyone jumped and color left their faces.
This woman was out of line, running amok like a mad dog.
The lingering fear made Nellâs face white. She turned around to take a clear look at the person who came up behind her before exclaiming in shock, âGideon Leith? Why are you here?â
Gideon turned sullen.
Back in the store, Lily grabbed another vase to take another hit at Nell after the miss but Thomas snatched the vase over.
âEnough is enough! Lily OâHare, simmer down!â
âThis b*tch hit me. How do you expect me to calm down?â
Lily grew up in a rich family. As the only daughter in the family, she was used to having her way. Never had her feathers been ruffled in such a way.
She would not stop until she returned the two slaps in the face today.
With a somber look on his face, Thomas was about to speak when a cold voice was heard from the entrance.
âI donât mind helping you if you canât calm yourself down.â
With that, a man came out of nowhere and gave Lily two whacks in the face.
Lily was reeling with shock. Her head was light.
Thomasâ face clouded over.
Gideon Leith? Itâs him?
Gideon walked in with Nell, hand in hand.
Flinging his wrist, Matthew wore a smile and said, âPresident, itâs my first time hitting a woman but I have to say, she deserves it! I donât feel guilty at all.â
Gideon curled his lips.
Lily finally snapped back to reality.
Grazing over her swollen face, she let out a shriek.
âWho are you people? How dare you hit me! Donât you know who I am? I...â
âEnough! Shut up!â
With a pale face, Thomas pulled her back.
Lily may not know Gideon Leith, but he did.
Spoiled by the President ï¤Chapter 64 Sheâs His Pride and Joy Although he was unaware of his relationship with Nell, they had to be close for them to be holding hands.
He walked up to offer an apology. âYoung Master Leith, I didnât know you were here. Iâm really sorry. Itâs just a misunderstanding between women.â
âOh? A misunderstanding that led to smashing a vase?â
â...â
âThomas, why are you apologizing to him for? Theyâre the ones who raised their hand!â
Still screaming, Lily was not having it.
Thomas was almost off his rocker, regretting so much for bringing her out today.
He clenched his teeth. âThis is President Leith. The President Leith from Leith Corporation.â
âWhat?â
Lily finally pulled back from her trance.
She stared at Gideon in disbelief, as if she saw some monster.
The OâHares worked in trade and the elders in the family had mentioned this figure before in multiple casual conversations.
However, to Lily, Gideon Leith was a figure that only existed in the legends. He was beyond her, like the unreachable stars in the sky. He was unrealistic.
Hence, she never thought she would actually cross paths with him in real life.
Her gaze fell on their joined hands.
Lily moved her lips and only found her voice a while later.
âNo-no way...â
