Chapter 2014
The Charismatic Charlie Wade
Chapter 2014
As soon as a few police officers heard this, they were in high spirits.
After all, the people who could live in Thompson First were financially very strong, and the âhard-
earned moneyâ they were talking about must be an astronomical amount.
Come to think of it, for people who can casually live in a villa of over one hundred million, three to
five million is nothing to them. Thirty-five million was probably just a frown.
But seeing how this Lady was acting so devastated the entire time, it seemed the amount had to be
above thirty-five million!
This could be a very serious theft!
So, a few people hurried through the door and asked Vivian Siu directly, âWhen did the theft
happen? How much property has been stolen?â
Wendy was slightly embarrassed and said, âThis.... Please go to the second floor
and ask my grandmother, the lost money is all hers, she knows the situation
best.â âGood!â
A few police officers were busy going upstairs and led by Wendy to the second floor bedroom.
Seeing an old man and a young man sleeping in the second floor bedroom, the police officer was
also a little surprised, but didnât think much of it and came directly to the terrace and asked Mrs.
Wilson: âLady, did you lose your
belongings?â
âRight! It's me!â Lady Wilson said resentfully, âA woman named Hannah! She
stole my hard-earned money and ran away! You've got to catch her!â
The police officer nodded hurriedly, pulled out the police officer's special PDA, and spoke, âDo you
know any specific information about this Hannah? Like where you're from, age, and an ID number
would be great! That way, we can just locate specific information and start arresting people right
away.â
âID number?â Lady Wilson thought about it and asked Wendy, âDo you know your motherâs ID
number?â
Wendy said awkwardly, âI.... I can only remember a small part of it, not all of it...â
Lady Wilson hurriedly said, âGo look for your father's marriage certificate with her! That must have
her ID number on it!"
Wendy nodded, âOkay grandmother, I'll go find..."
Several police officers exchanged glances with each other, and the one at the head spoke up and
asked, âLady, this Hannah who stole your money, what is his relationship with you?â
Lady Wilson gritted her teeth and said, âThat bastard is my eldest daughter-in- law! I really guarded
against it day and night, but I didn't realize that home thieves were hard to guard against!"
The lead police officer said awkwardly, âIf it's your own family, you have to carefully consider
whether to go through the legal process, because theft is not just a small matter, this is a criminal
offense.â
After a pause, he added, âIf you really want to claim that she is a theft, then after we file a case, it
will be handed over to the prosecutor's office to initiate a public prosecution, and then in case of a
felony conviction, you will have to sit in jail for
The lead officer asked again, âLady, how much property did you lose this time? This includes, but is
not limited to, cash, debts, and any personal items of value.â
The old woman blurted out, âShe stole my whole two hundred dollars! That's all
my hard-earned money!â
The police officer was suddenly confused, âHow much.... How much?! Two hundred?!â
