The next day, Shivansh came down to the kitchen to get hot milk for Kashi so that she felt better. But got shocked as the whole family was inside the kitchen.
Bhairav and Anita were mixing the batter for the choco chip cookie. While Akshita was making momos and pani puri and Naina was making papdi chaat.
" What is happening here?" asked Shivansh. Dada Hukum who was cutting the apples looked at him. " Today is a sunday, so we thought to enjoy with our daughter. So we are preparing a lot of things for her." said Dada Hukum.
Bhairav looked at his son. " Yeah, it has been a week to marriage so we just wanted to enjoy with our daughter because in some days, she will meet her people." said Bhairav.
Shivansh nodded. After that he picked the glass and hot milk. Her poured the milk in it and after that he headed towards the room. When he came inside, he saw that Kashi was awake. " Good morning." said Shivansh.
Kashi looked at him and smiled. " Good morning. " said Kashi while coming down the bed. " Here is your milk. This will give you relief from the pain. " said Shivansh, " But it is not paining at lot." said Kashi.
" But still, have it." said Shivansh picked the glass, " Let me go and brush." said Kashi. After that she went to the washroom to get ready for the day.
Shivansh watched as Kashi stepped into the washroom, the soft light of the morning casting a warm glow on her. He placed the glass of milk on the bedside table, ensuring it would be within easy reach once she was ready.
The room was filled with a serene calm, a stark contrast to the lively kitchen downstairs. Shivansh took a moment to reflect on how much had changed in the past week since their marriage. The quiet moments they shared, the gentle conversations, and the unspoken understanding between them had all deepened his feelings for her.
When Kashi finally emerged from the washroom, her hair damp and her face fresh, she looked more radiant than ever. Shivansh's heart swelled with affection as she approached him, her eyes bright with the light of a new day.
"Feeling better?" Shivansh asked, his voice soft and filled with concern as he picked up the glass of milk, holding it out to her.
Kashi nodded, her smile warm and reassuring. "Yes, much better. Thank you, Shivansh ji. You always take such good care of me." Her words were sincere, but there was a playful glint in her eyes that Shivansh couldn't miss.
He chuckled, handing her the glass. "It's my duty as your husband, isn't it? To make sure you're well taken care of, always." said Shivansh.
Kashi took a sip of the milk, savoring the warmth that spread through her. "But you do so much more than that. You make me feel... safe, loved. I couldn't ask for more." said Kashi.
Shivansh's eyes softened at her words. He reached out, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. "And you make me feel like the luckiest man alive, Kashi. Just seeing you smile, knowing you're happy, that's all I need." said Shivansh.
Kashi's cheeks flushed at his words, and she looked down at the glass in her hands, feeling a warmth that had nothing to do with the milk. "You know, you're quite the romantic, Shivansh ji." she teased gently, looking up at him through her lashes.
He smiled, a tender expression that was reserved only for her. "Only for you, Kashi. Only for you." said Shivansh.
They stood there in comfortable silence for a moment, the air between them charged with an unspoken bond that had grown stronger with each passing day. Kashi took another sip of her milk, feeling the love and care in every gesture Shivansh made.
After a while, she placed the glass back on the table and looked up at him. "So, what's the plan for today?" she asked, her tone light and curious.
Shivansh leaned against the edge of the bed, his arms crossed as he looked at her. "Well, I thought we could spend some time together, maybe go for a drive later. But first, there's a surprise waiting for you in the kitchen." he added with a mischievous grin.
Kashi raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "A surprise? What kind of surprise?" she asked. Shivansh's grin widened. "Let's just say the entire family is involved, and they're all very excited to spend the day with you." said Shivansh.
Kashi's eyes lit up with curiosity and anticipation. "Now I'm really curious! What are they up to?" said Kashi. "You'll see. But first, finish your milk. We have a big day ahead, and I want you to be ready for it." Shivansh said, his voice full of playful mystery.
Kashi laughed softly, feeling a flutter of excitement in her heart. "Alright, alright. I'll finish it," she said, picking up the glass again. As she took the final sip, she felt a sense of contentment settle over her, knowing that she was surrounded by love and care.
Once she was done, Shivansh took the glass from her, placing it back on the table. He then reached out, pulling her into a gentle embrace. "Thank you for being a part of my life, Kashi." he murmured into her hair.
Kashi wrapped her arms around him, resting her head against his chest. "And thank you for making me feel like I belong here, with you." she whispered back.
They stayed like that for a while, wrapped in each other's warmth, before Shivansh finally pulled back, a smile tugging at his lips. "Come on, let's go see what the family has planned for you." said Shivansh.
Kashi nodded, her heart full of gratitude and love for the man who had become her everything. Hand in hand, they left the room, ready to face the day together, knowing that no matter what, they had each other.
Coming in the hall, Kashi was shocked as so many things were kept in front of her. " Pani Puri." she said and then quickly ran to the table. She picked puri and then put some smashed potato inside and some salty and sweet water.
She had it while enjoying the taste. She opened her eyes and saw everyone standing in front of her. She quickly gulped down the Pani Puri that was inside her mouth. " Sorry, I should have asked you all also." said Kashi.
Akshita approached her. " Kashi, we made this for you only. " said Akshita, " But still." said Kashi. Bhairav came to her. " Kashi, you are not just our daughter." said Bhairav. Kashi and Naina then started to have the Pani Puri.
Kashi looked at Shivansh. " Hukum sa, would you have?" asked Kashi. Anita laughed. " Kashi, he doesn't like having all these." said Naina, " I can have. " said Shivansh. Everyone was shocked with what he said.
" Only one." said Shivansh. Kashi made the Pani Puri and then came to him. She picked the puri and then got it near the mouth of Shivansh. He opened his mouth and then had it. Kashi picked a tissue and then cleaned his mouth.
Shivansh was looking at her only. " Oh my god. I can't believe that my friend is having this. I will faint." Yuhan said while sitting on the sofa. Naina hit him. " Stop it. " said Naina. They both then laughed.
Naina and Yuhan sat down together on the sofa while holding each other's hand behind the pillow.
Outside the palace, Jai was doing his exercise when Ritika came there. Jai thought that a guard had come there. " Aman, give that dumbbell. " said Jai. Ritika looked at the dumbbell. She slowly bent to pick the dumbbell.
Ritika looked at the dumbbell. She slowly bent to pick it up, but it slipped from her hands and fell on her foot. She screamed in pain. Jai turned around, his face contorting in anger.
"What was the need to do this?" he said, rushing towards her. He saw her struggling to stand. Without a word, he picked her up in his arms. "Jai ji, it's okay, I can manage." Ritika said, trying to protest.
"Stop talking and let me handle it." Jai snapped. He carried her to a nearby chair and gently placed her down. Then he went to fetch the pain relief balm. He sat on the floor in front of her and was about to touch her foot when Ritika stopped him.
"Don't touch my feet, please." she pleaded, her voice trembling. "Shut up and let me do it." Jai said firmly. He applied the balm on her foot with gentle but firm movements. "You'll feel better in some time. But don't walk a lot." he instructed.
Ritika looked at him, a mixture of gratitude and embarrassment in her eyes. "Thank you, Jai ji." she whispered.
Jai picked her up again. "I just told you that you can't move your foot a lot." he said, carrying her inside the palace. Raghu Kaka and all the servants saw this scene, as did Kashi, Prisha, and Naina.
"Jai ji, put me down. People are watching." Ritika murmured, her face turning red. "Let them watch. Your foot needs rest, and I don't care who sees me carrying you." Jai replied.
Kashi stepped forward, concern etched on her face. "What happened, Ritika?" she asked. " It was just an accident. The dumbbell fell on her foot." Jai explained, his voice softening slightly. Kashi nodded. "Let's get her inside and make sure she's comfortable." she said, leading the way.
Once inside, Jai carefully placed Ritika on a couch and propped her foot up on a cushion. "Don't move," he ordered, before turning to Kashi. "Can you bring some ice for her foot?" said Jai. Kashi nodded and hurried to get the ice. Prisha and Naina looked on with worried expressions.
"Is it hurting a lot?" Naina asked softly. "It's manageable." Ritika said, though her face betrayed her discomfort.
When Kashi returned with the ice, Jai gently placed it on Ritika's foot. "This will help with the swelling." he said, looking into her eyes. "Next time, just ask for help instead of trying to do things on your own."
Ritika nodded, tears welling up in her eyes. "I'm sorry, Jai ji. I didn't mean to cause trouble." said Ritika. Jai's expression softened. "You're not causing trouble, Ritika. Just take care of yourself, okay?"
Ritika nodded, a small smile forming on her lips. "Okay, Jai ji." said Ritika. As the ice began to numb the pain, Ritika leaned back and closed her eyes, feeling a mixture of relief and gratitude for Jai's unexpected kindness.
