Gloria finally had a grasp of the situation.

Lo and behold, Floyd and the others did not leave the base camp at all. They were not seen anywhere during the war because there had discreetly entered a secret annex.

Floyd apologized immediately, “I’m sorry, Gloria. I didn’t think that far.”
