“I’m back!” Levi yelled.

Upon hearing Levi’s voice, everyone emerged one by one.

Levi heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that Forlevia, Zoey, and the others were all safe.

After all, he was worried about them just now, for even though the place was secluded, there was still a chance of them being discovered.

Now that his concerns were dispelled, his mind was put at ease.

“Hmm?”

As Levi swept his gaze across everyone, he noticed a few missing figures.

“Hmm? Why are there so few of you? Where’s Azure Dragon and the others?” Levi furrowed his brows at once.

At that moment, Zoey exclaimed, “Oh no, Levi! Azure Dragon and the others might be in trouble!”

“Huh? What’s going on? Didn’t they come here with you?” Levi’s expression drastically changed.

“They did arrive with us, but they left after a short while, complaining that you’re infantilizing them by protecting them all the time. They insisted that they are now independent and can deal with matters on their own. Furthermore, they claim to know Ecclesiastic Order better than you do for they interact with them on a daily basis. Hence, they can make their own judgments,” Zoey related everything they said back then to Levi.

“Insolence! This is utter insolence!” Levi thundered in rage.

When his terrifying aura swept across the surroundings, it sent a chill down everyone’s spine because they were worried about being disintegrated into a mist of blood.

Back then, he had given them the advice precisely to avoid such a situation from occurring.

Even though he was cognizant of their defiance, he assumed that they would compromise and keep themselves hidden obediently.

Unfortunately, it was nothing but wishful thinking.

I’m doing this for your own good! I’m not trying to emotionally blackmail all of you. It truly is extremely dangerous out there. Why didn’t you listen? And now, didn’t my worst fear come to pass?

The reason so many people were looking for Azure Dragon and his group was that no one could find Forlevia at all.

Unlike Forlevia, no one could find Azure Dragon and the others, for they had been captured by a faction from Ecclesiastic Order.

Even though Levi was furious, there was barely anything he could do.

“Actually, when news of Azure Dragon and the others had gone into hiding began to spread, everyone searched all over for them. It was just that Azure Dragon assumed the ones who were searching for them were doing so with good intentions instead of trying to harm them. Moreover, since there was utter chaos out there, they had wanted to go out and stabilize the situation.”

Levi was outraged. “Is there a need for you to take control of the situation? Since when has it become your responsibility?”

“Even though we were worried that they had gotten themselves into trouble, we didn’t dare leave for fear of getting in the way. In fact, we would probably just make things worse if we had gone out. Hence, I wonder what has become of them? I sure hope that they are safe.”

Zoey and the others had anxiousness written all over their faces.

“All of you did the right thing. Everyone outside is not just looking for the five of them, but also Forlevia, you, and every single one of you here. The moment you step out, you will be faced with danger. In fact, anyone who is connected to me will be at risk. Not only is Ecclesiastic Order involved, but many other foreign factions have also arrived to join the hunt too!”

Levi nodded in agreement.

At the very least, he was relieved that those in front of him didn’t escalate the situation unnecessarily.

Or else, he would have trouble picking who to save and might end up failing to save everyone.

After pondering a moment, Levi lamented, “This has probably gone on for some time. Since everyone has been searching high and low for Azure Dragon and the other four, I’m afraid something bad might have occurred.”

Despite blaming them for their actions, Levi’s concern for them began to grow.

After all, they were his comrades who had been through life and death with him.
