The Protector levi garrison
Chapter 3219 Longing For The Future
Dr. Erebus smiled. âFor the past few months, the only thing that was bugging me was Idrae. Now that theyâre gone, itâs time I let go of everything. Actually, I shouldâve died long ago. Well, I guess Iâm given a second chance to live. Now that Iâve learned so many things and solved many puzzles, I feel that Iâm not interested in everything.
So, my next plan is to retire and not join anything. Iâm going to look for a place of my own and live in seclusion, just like what the other formidable people of Erudia love to do. Iâm going to make sure even you people canât find me. So, donât bother me, and I shall not bother you guys. That shall be it until I grow old and die.â
Levi patted his shoulder. âGreat. I will give you my support. Itâs time for you to rest. After all, youâve been working so hard for a long time.â
He shifted his gaze to Digital God and asked, âWhat about you, Bro?â
Levi liked addressing Digital God as âBro.â
Everyone knew Digital God was incredibly smart. After spending so much time with him, Levi realized the former was just a simple person.
Moreover, Dr. Erebus and Digital God were actually great people.
They were great in every aspect of their character.
Their only difference was that they had different stances, and they worked for the wrong forces.
âI suppose Iâll continue doing research. My dream is still not achieved, anyway,â Digital God said with a sigh.
Then again, his dream and research still required a platform, resources, manpower, facilities, and other equipment.
There were many things that could not be researched just because he wanted to.
Naturally, Levi understood that concern. After thinking about it, he suggested, âThen, Iâll let you stay here. Thereâs Aotic Fox Industries and Elterton Star. These two organizations can become your platform and work for you alone.â
Surprised, Digital God nodded happily. âSure!â
âYou can rest assured. As long as I give them my orders, theyâll definitely treat you as their owner. Your words will be their order. Theyâll never have the nerve to disobey you,â Levi assured.
Hearing that, the high-rank officials of Elterton Union, who stood behind him, immediately agreed and went on to make the arrangements.
At the same time, they scurried away as soon as they saw Leviâs terrifying gaze, worried that he might get angry.
In order to give the trio the space, the others were chased away.
Even the carcasses and those who were injured were quickly removed.
In the blink of an eye, Levi, Dr. Erebus, and Digital God were the only ones left.
They sat on top of the mountain and looked into the distance.
The air was filled with serenity, which gave one an urge to lie on the fields and take a long nap.
âWhat about you, Mr. Garrison?â Dr. Erebus and Digital God looked at Levi.
They were extremely curious as to whether Levi would use his incredible powers to do things like uniting some forces and dominating the entire world.
Upon hearing their question, Levi smiled with a longing look on his face. âMe? Well, Iâm going to go back this time. Like you, Erebus, Iâm going to live in seclusion. Living with my wife, child, and family members in peace is good for me. Iâm not going to pursue any more great powers. I donât want to live such a stressful life.
All I want is to live a simple life, watch my child grow up, and spend time with my mother, my wife, and others. If my close friends are willing, Iâll take them in and weâll look for an ideal place to live together. Iâm going to stop chasing worldly fame and fortune. Iâm really tired, and itâs time for me to rest not just physically, but mentally as well.â
When Dr. Erebus heard Leviâs words, he too, had a look of longing on his face. He laughed aloud and said, âIf I heard this yesterday, I wouldâve chosen to join you and live together with your family. But now, I just want to live in silence. Ever since I joined the military, I always wanted to let everyone on earth live peaceful and blissful lives.
Truth is, thatâs what I yearn for too. However, I realize itâs quite hard to live an ordinary personâs life. But now, Iâve got a better idea. Iâm going to take my family along and live in seclusion. Iâm never going to participate in anything unless Erudia is in danger.â
