The Protector levi garrison
Chapter 2703 Project Atlantis
Those words gathered everyone around.
âWhat is it?â
Everyone turned around. They seemed as eager as wolves that finally found food after starving for days.
It was so crazy that their eyes would pop out of their sockets if it were physically possible.
âDo you guys still remember Erudiaâs Project Atlantis from fifteen years ago?â asked Gary.
Chandler nodded right away and replied, âOf course I do. That project has another name, and some called it the Dragon Palace Project. If I remember correctly, my predecessor was the one who kick-started it.â
Every other Erudian nodded.
Many were unaware of the existence of that project, but the leaders of Dragonites knew all about it.
Gary nodded. âThat is the legendary underwater project that prompted eight hundred thousand Erudians to go missing for six long years. Neither their friends nor their family knew where they were, and it was as though they had disappeared into the wind. Truth was, they had gone to work on this project.â
âYeah, I know about it. That project was eventually scrapped midway because it was too big. The technology, resources, and finances at the time werenât sufficient, so the project had to be abandoned.â
Most leaders were still confused at that moment.
âSo what exactly is Project Atlantis?â
That was the question everyone had.
âItâs really complicated. âThe gist of it is that it is a project to build an enormous underwater training base that would be used for ocean exploration.
âIn laymanâs terms, weâre basically trying to create an underwater empire similar to the legendary city of Atlantis,â replied Gary.
âFrom what I have gathered, Project Atlantisâ main structure was completed before the project was scrapped. Itâs a maze down there though, and there is no leaving the place without a map.
âNo one even knows the general location of the project. That information is still in a sealed folder.â
Craig immediately knew what Gary was going to say.
The former asked, âSo⦠youâre saying we can lure the Warmachines to that location and trap them there?â
âExactly! We canât trap them forever, but this will at least buy us some time.
âIâve heard that the training base for Project Atlantis was basically sealed, and Leviathans will have a hard time breaking through. I also know that the location of this project is extremely secretive.
âThe best part is the place is equipped with jamming devices, so the people controlling those Leviathans, if they exist, wonât be able to send the instructions to those Warmachines. Hence, we can hold Leviathans there for quite a while!â
With that, Gary finished explaining his plan.
The crowdâs eyes glowed instantly.
There was hope!
They could trap Leviathans temporarily and take some time to figure out how to kill them.
âI will send my men to retrieve the folders containing Project Atlantisâ information. We will learn of its location soon.
âThe only challenge left is to trick Leviathans to go to that location,â said Gary.
After saying that, he left to retrieve the folders.
He would deal with the matter personally.
After he left, Craig frowned and murmured, âThe current situation might be beneficial to us. âIâm sure everyone noticed that Leviathans stayed close to one another to gather all their energy at a single point.
âIf we can lure one of Leviathans, the rest will follow along.
âThe challenge at hand is to figure out how to lure them.
âIf they are indeed being controlled, this task will be all the more difficult.
âIt might even be right to say that itâs a task that is almost impossible!â
The others began murmuring among themselves.
âThat is actually an easy feat. How are things on the battlefield?â asked Craig.
âWe are completely stumped. We canât fight them or even hold our ground. Everyone had gone all out, but their efforts were fruitless. The best anyone could do was to slow those Leviathans down.â
Everyone sighed sadly.
The situation at the time left all of them with heavy hearts.
âThen, itâll be easier to trick them to follow us,â replied Craig who suddenly laughed aloud.
That confused everyone and prompted them to turn to him.
